Sure? Aren't the feathers supposed to direct the flame and hot gas into the direction where the force should be applied? So in this case they were working exactly as it should as the force should be directly backwards to have the counterforce forward
@@MichaelArltNo. The jet engine burns more fuel with afterburners. There's more exhaust gases and they would probably be too powerful and over pressurize a narrow nozzle.
it really depends on your airspeed as well as the nozzle is balancing the pressure to where it creates its maximum pressure based on the altitude and airspeed of what its intaking
That's the way i set them up, but they would be easy to change to whatever is more appropriate. I didn't know much about jet engine nozzles at the time of creation XD
Current model using the industrial pipes from a dlc, but should be possible using the vanilla conveyors, the industrial pipes just look so much better. I did use the precision placement mod, as the conveyors won't place in vanilla even though it has space enough to do so, so without that mod you would need to constantly rotate the rotors while placing blocks or use ships to fly pieces in place to merge them. (Probably doable in vanilla?)
@@Thesuper997 i just need the energy to start tinkering with the signal update, as i want it to respond to signal inputs so you can remote the cargo bays from the ground :)
Hey, I tried to create something similar but it wasn't anywhere near as stable as yours. Great job!
Hey do you have any tips on building a bridge on a ship im kinda stuck rn
in theory, it should be a little different when you give gas, the nozzle should increase and vice versa. This can be observed on jet planes
So I'm hearing, i don't really know a lot about how it works, only that it moves xD
@@Kennet0508 you can watch videos with jet planes, everything is clearly visible there :)

Klang must love you
Profusely 😂
It's opposite, but still super cool
That's cool but I can already hear the clang
OK cool, u can just reverse the nozzle animation through the system where the nozzles are spreading when after afterburning or suppressed in neutral.

Wow! That's really cool! Is it a mod or vanilla/DLCs?
And also, when are you going to release the 45° cargo modules?

Air brakes?
Thrusters?
