Hi Jost , we are in the Eifel ( Biesdorf am See ) on a short HOLIDAY. After a 11 km walk , climbing and climbing we came home tired but satisfied. Then a shower, ...a Bittburger beer or two and watching this excellent lesson. Life is great. Thanks Jost , you are a great musician and teacher.
What a great way to spice up a cool little lick and make it sound outrageous! Thanks Jost! The only think I would like better would to be able to see the RLK when you cross cross your hands (HH,FT,K) at the slower speed you did the other moves :)
Very effective. Such a creative drummer.
Jost is the most casual looking guy until you see his kicks😂

Wow! That 2 + 1 orchestration puts a whole new spin on the hihat/floor tom crossover and makes it sound even more crazy and complex. Love it!
Lovely sounding snare drum
Really nice. Thank you Jost!!!
That was good practice
Thank you
Amazing!!

Really simple and effective method! cool
Really nice lesson. I saw you showing it in a Workshop in Hannover. The 32th Bassdrum part is "new" to me though.
Very cool!
Great lesson!! Thanks!!
Extracting a great deal from such a simple lick..nice one Jost..
Jost freaking Nickel. HE'S SOOOOOO BAD ASS!!!
very nice, imho it sounds better when played with the medium pace.
verry nice!
one question, when doubling the bass drum do you play them as 2 32th notes?
Yes!
Top!
Crazy double kicks...
Jost! Your drums sound better with Remo heads. Specially the snare
what kind of sonor kit is that
Looks like a Prolite. Especially because it is written on the Tom.
What @ichundnichtdu said.... HAHAHAHA
Sounds like a common gospel chop to me.
