@@_aWiseMan According to other comments here, it's not leaking from the storage, it's just residual water coming back out of the crevices, from being submerged. It stops dripping after a few seconds.

Personally I prefer the look of the first Spyra. The smooth and simple design appealed to me more for some reason. Also it could be just the lighting and I could be wrong but I also noticed the red colour of the Spyra 2 looks a lil off compared to the the original. The spyra 2 red looks lighter than the first, Its more of an orange than a red and I prefer the firsts much bolder red like its the TF2 Red colour. Those are just my personal preferences though.

To be honest I earn the Spyra 2 . It’s pretty cool . But my old school super soakers destroy the gun every way possible. You can’t comprehend hosing someone down with a super soaker compared to the spyra. The spyra is basically like someone spitting a small stream of water at you fast. The super soaker 50 destroys whatever it’s hits and soaks then completely.
One missed opportunity though, is that neither model are actually available "in the market" right now. I'd hoped to pick up a Spyra 1 to bring to a memorial day event, but it just wasn't going to be an option.

modify one with metalic barrel lining that elongates the barrel , give it a torch lighter extension on the muzzle that holds a flame in front of the metal barrel, and fill it with RAID spray.
For the spyra3, I would definitely like to see some optional pictinny rails that you can choose to screw on or leave off for some optional (waterproof) flashlights and optics for the fun of it
i got two spyra ones that lasted half a season , both wont load water and one is completely bugged , does not load water but the display shows its loading , you can then dry fire till youre "empty" currently refunding both
I dismantled one and don’t recommend it. Lots of little parts to go sproing when you open it. I did it because it quit filling . After three disassemblies it works. There are two spring loaded one way valves, and I think one of them got misaligned. About ten percent of Amazon reviewers had problems. Quite frankly I don’t know why it started working, but it had something to do with one of those valves. I have lots of experience dismantling toys, and I think the odds of a newby getting it back together are pretty low. As for clogging, there is a tiny, inaccessible screen to keep out debris, but there’s no easy way to clean it. All in all, it would be nice to have a user-maintainable version.
I'd love to see a teardown of one of these before i take mine apart. Wanna know the limits to the waterproofing and whatnot but i don't wanna wreck mine just after i got it!!
I have never heard of this water gun, until now. Saw it on eBay and Amazon, when trying to find a water gun to spray paint for a Mr. Freeze costume for this Halloween.
Have you used it at the beach/outside? How has it held up with non-tap water? Have been thinking of using them around this summer but having clean tap water you can stick the tip of your gun into isn't as common as you'd think.
When will you make a mod video. Or show the insides of the water blaster and the technology they used. So diy people can make a diy water guns with these same water gun features. Just by watching your video.
Gotta modify and take it apart in a video, up the battery amp, might be over kill if possible add a Co2 bottle if it’s pressure base or if it’s a spring upgrade that
