Heyy veloccie another great video as always. I know this is off topic but have you yet heard of the new dinos survival game called Aladin of Acients. Its going to be a Dino survival game that focuses on realistic gameplay etc.
From now on, whenever I am sad, I will just look at a picture of Velocci in a shark costume to feel better. All the games look great, the deinonychus from instinction is the best looking dromaesaur from any game ever.
The Lost Wild is the most promising one on this list. At the very least, it's likely it will be a completed game on release, which is a feat when it comes to dinosaur games at this rate.
Echoes Of Extinction seems different than others and fill niche we don't have yet. Will play it when it is ready. More exited about dinos than humans tho cause I am human in real life, done that already xD
That pangea game looks fun, at least as a concept. Like ark but with dynamic ai, robust combat, exploration, quests, taming, crafting etc. Sounds fun. Ark 2 also sounds fun, a mix of dark souls, rust, and dinosaurs. Hopefully it isn't as horribly designed as ark 1.
Yomaia sounds really promising I see alot and I mean alot of potential in it enough to even surpass one of the big 3 if they do it right im only worried they wont get the needed funding due to being kinda unknown but I can hope

Pretty interesting. But I think a big problem these days is the absence of distinguished art styles and designs in modern games. Let's be real, if you'd be seeing all the showcased footage back to back without commentary, could you say for certain that not all the footage comes from the same game?
I've never been too thrilled about dino shooter horror games personally... Yeah a couple are fine and creative, but there's so many and the media already has an issue with dinosaurs being treated as "Monsters that should be killed on sight" rather than the real animals they used to be. Like if they used modern animals people would likely have an issue with why they have you blowing the brains out of wolves, elk, etc just trying to live their lives. Idk it just feels wrong to me. I don't mean to sound whiny about it because I know a lot of people like those games, but we need more dino games like PoT/The Isle or even Paleo Pines that give the media a better image of dinosaurs rather than ones that are just like "They're massive and have teeth, therefore they must be killed on sight without mercy." Like they're part of a zombie outbreak or something.
Just hear me out. A good chunk of you have at least seen theHunter: Call of the Wild. I want something more like that, but just with dinos. No bs gimmicks like what Primal had. I just want an environment (or several) to hunt in. Some nice story based missions would be pretty cool too. Like finding a missing person or culling a problem animal. Like I want some level of danger too, but i don't want every carni on the map actively stalking me. Also, I want proper environments. Like not a roster that is 8 carnies and 1 big herbi. And maybe some good progression? Like unlockable gear and maybe even like a smaller Troodontid or other dinos as a "hunting dog" or even a mount of some kind as a quieter way to get where you're going. I know something like that may never happen, but I think it would do well enough.
I really feel like the variety of modern Dinosaur games has fallen out a fair bit. We seem to constantly get the case of being in some secretive or unexplored region, such as an island or fargone forest, with the same types of biomes and environments and we always are in a battle for survival against the dinosaurs, alongside a forgotten civilization and secrets about their history to discover. Don't take me wrong, I love dinosaur survival games, but I feel like there's so much potential and yet we are only barely tapping into it. I just want more variety, where there is a rich diversity of dinosaur games for everyone and most of the modern games I see listed are either pretty forgettable or downright the same thing we've seen before just with a new coat of paint. Like instead of surviving in a jungle, change the location, perhaps a city or underwater, maybe in space, or in a canyon network, or even the [ant]arctic. Perhaps instead of an ancient human civilization, maybe a sentient (non-humanoid as that's pretty overdone itself) reptilian species, or some other unique threat or reward, such as a macguffin hidden deep inside the region somewhere, or maybe the world outside became inhospitable and a wandering group of surviving wanderers enter the region but find themselves picked for the bedrock of the food chain, eaten by even the plants of this strange world. Maybe instead of playing as a human surviving in a world of the dinosaurs you play as the wildlife and try to survive against the human threat which encroaches on the region, or being "A fly on the wall" of sorts as you play as neither the dinosaurs nor humans, but as a third group caught up in-between them that has to try and survive. I just feel that there could be more diversity in both the visuals, mechanics and narrative we take instead of it all blending into these tropes and losing it's sense of uniqueness under the layers of what we have already seen dozens of times to the point it becomes boring.
If I had a nickel for every Dinosaur game coming out in 2024, I'd have over ten nickels. Which isn't a lot of money, but it's weird that there are over ten.
I love playing pot the only way I would switch off pot is if a new game came out like pot but a better version. I don’t see that happening unless a AAA game developer gets in on the Dino craze

Accurate pterasaurs with pycnofiber fuzz and PLEASE STOP WITH THE BLOODY BROKEN WRISTS ☹️ those are a few things. I'm fed up with inaccurate dinos in dino games. And no, I haven't forgotten about dinos reborn, the fucked up carno and the dromeosaurs in particular. And don't even get me started on the pterasaurs💀
