Testing Experimental Window Feeders that always land with the opening at the side

- I am testing a new Window Feeder specifically designed so that the feeder lies flat and the opening lands at 90 degrees to the bottom every time. With normal Window Feeders, the angler can't be sure which direction the window is facing when it hits the bottom, so you don't know how the feed is being dispersed. With this feeder, you can be sure that the window will always arrive on the bottom with the window at the side.
These feeders are also extra large in order to get enough bait out into massive reservoirs which contain Carp, but they can also be used for large venues which contain Bream and Tench. Watch the video to see how I get on.
The video covering how I make these feeders will be published soon.

Welcome back Den, another terrific video, looking forward to the next one.
Welkome back Den ! Great video 👍🐟👋
Thanks Danny.
Great video again Den, looking forward to the tutorial 👍
Hello France Den, really very happy to have new videos from you, since I discovered your youtube channel everything seems more "easy", and there, tackling a subject that interests me a lot, very captivating video And instructive, looking forward to seeing if you can put your 3D printing files online, hoping that your finger does not face too long, best regards.
Thanks for your kind comments. The .stl files will be available with next weeks video.😁😁👍👍
Another great video Den. Those feeders seem to do a great job. Good on ya!
Thanks Donny.😁😁👍👍
Great vid Den ! I hope you will post also the making of the window feeders.
I finished that video this afternoon Ovidiu. They are 3D Printed, so I will attach the .stl file for people to download when I post it to my channel next week.
Cup of tea always gets a bite 🙂 Its meant to be summer here Temperature is 14 degrees and cloudy at 11:00 in the morning
I think I did mention that 12 Degrees was Summer in the UK Barbara.🤣👍
Hi Den,
Another great video. Hope your finger is soon back to normal. Looking forward to seeing how you make the feeders and will you be giving dimensions etc.?
Barry
Thanks Barry. The feeders are 3D Printed mate. I will see if I can superimpose the dimensions when I do the editing.
Hello Mrs Den
Good to see you back on the bank Den. The feeders worked well…any chance that you could use the 3D Printer to make some waders?🤣
No problem Stephen. Unfortunately, they might be more like a suit of armour than waders though.🤣🤣👍👍
Nice to see that you're fishing again Den. That's one big reservoir, I wouldn't know where to start. What's the gaffer doing while you enjoying yourself?
She was reading a book in the car Peter. It cost me a nice Dinner and cocktails later.😁😁👍👍
Clever Lass 😂
Welcome back Den, have you considered switching yo a left handed wind real until your finger improves?
Thanks David. I'm finding that my finger is improving all the time mate. It is slow, but I'm definitely getting there now.
Magic Den,they work very well. What line did you use mate ?
Hi Clive. I was using 0,25mm Guru Drag line with a 0.28mm leader. I don't go too fine over here due to all the rocks and sharp edges.
Cannot wait for the stl Den
Next week Phill.👍👍
@@FishingwithDen look forward to it cannot wait to make some for my mates to try as well. They all caught on the method with the rubber stops
@@Offcut55 Excellent. I'm glad it worked for them.
Hey Den. Awesome as usual. Maybe with the index finger you could try using the clutch instead. I know it’s not your preferred method but with the injury could be an option ☺️. Keep em coming mate👍🏼
Hi Craig. You're right of course, I should trust the clutch more. It's just a habit I have used for about 55 years, so it's hard to break mate.😁😁👍👍
Wow what a stunning place to fish den.
Been meaning to ask for a while do you have a background in design or engineering. Your ideas are so clever
Hi mate. Thanks for your comments. I have no qualifications at all, unless you count GCSE's in English, French, German and English Law. I also cannot draw anything. All I do is look at a problem, think about what I can do to overcome it and then design a product in my head when I go to bed at night.
@@FishingwithDen I'm genuinely surprised to hear you say that and actually quite inspired by it.
I have made some of your interchangeable wagglers and all the time I was making them I was thinking how smart your idea was. I now have a draw full of float making materials and even pushed the boat out to use decals for the shotting. Your videos always teach me something new. Thanks mate
@@brummie43 No worries Brummie. I'm glad my ideas are helping you.
Hi Den what happened to the boat you made.
I got old and had to give it away Alan.😁😁👍👍
As always, a nice video. The lake doesn't look entirely safe to me. Are you sure there are no crocodiles there?🤣
No crocodiles Ralf. And this time, no sharks either.🤣🤣😁😁
@@FishingwithDen Then I am reassured.
