Thank you Den. Great video. Ive got a few of the original Drennan Windbeaters and I’ll have to dig them out. They all seem to be fairly hefty shorting wise. I think I used to use them for tench with a big shot near the hook! Your method with a number 4 just off the hook is a lot more sensitive.
Hi Den Thanks for another great video. I've never tried to fish the lift method so far over depth, but it does make good sense. So I'm definitely going to give it a try. Thanks again Peter
Hi Den, agree with your idea ! But please note that for deep water (3m and above) I always lost fish because the delayed signal, they blown off already.
Another great vid. I always put the weight on the bottom near the hook length as a standard setup and then look at moving it about depending on the type of bites I seem to be getting? Like on the drop or once settled?

Thank you 😊 Great video as always

Lovely! Caught lots of tench with a crow quill fished as a lift float. Happy days!

Hi Phill. Yep. This is definitely a method with a very specific shotting pattern mate.
Nice one den. I use the lift all year round. Slightly different to you as just use an olivette. Dont do normal waggler😊.
Thanks Paul.
Decent couple of hours Den, just started the lift, crucians & tench were very accommodating. That accent of yours🤔 East Midlands?
Thanks Smiffy. originally West midlands mate, but a long time away in the Army.
