That's why I actually watch most of my YT on my TV 🤣🤣🤣 and sleep with my neck bend back on my special pillow at night, sleep better and breath better too. 😁 With chronic pain you find the ways that works for you and is better for your body 😁
I highly recommend you yuuka sagawa posture exercise. It doesn't pain much, it will also remove the neck hump and would improve your posture. You would notice changes in your waist too. And what I like about this workout is that all your sore muscles would relax and you'd get your desired results within 2-3 days.
I do this once a week. As a bonus, you can also let your arms dangle over the edge, for 5 -10 minutes, to stretch your shoulders and back. You will feel the tension and you will feel the relief when you're done. Don't get up or stand too quickly, afterward.
I use a neck roll every night. My neck is really out of whack from work. Always looking into a microscope 35 years. And whiplash didn't help either. I feel sorry for the little kids using phones at such an early age. By high school they'll be in poor shape with neck pain too! I hope you're video helps everyone with neck pain ❤Bless you Dr. ❤

I have had scoliosis as far back as I can remember. It was so pronounced I once had a doctor at a pre-employment physical call the staff in so they could see my "hump" In the 80s I began having awful pains in my neck. At the time I was a news librarian at out local paper. The archives were not yet automated, so I spent about 50 hours weekly marking, cutting and filing articles. 6 weeks of traction therapy and a career change kept me good for awhile. Then a position mostly phone work caused a nasty recurrence. I'd been seeing a chiropractor for years, but someone recommended a different one. His philosophy was that while you can have many issued with yoir6 spine, if the neck curve is upright and healthy it can solve many other back problems. When I began his year-long program, my back was a total mess, but worse, my neck was at a -13 degree curve and an 8 degree list to the right! At the end of the year my upright was restored fully 0, and I now had a c-curve at 30 degrees. Not quite the best, but far better. The exact procedure Doc describes here was the primary benefit to my neck. I still do this periodically when I've spent too much time on the computer, or my cell, etc. Stretch breaks are priceless! Oh, my back. I still have a double S-curve from scoliosis, but problem and pain are minimal as long as I keep my neck in good shape. Sorry for the length here, but this hit me at a personal level and I wanted to share the importance of this.
Thank you for sharing. So glad this technique has improved your wellbeing. I am going to try it, I have poor posture, slight curve in my lower spine and what is know as a dowager hump on my neck. I hate it. I always wear my hair down or tops to cover it. I have never seen this technique before and will make a start today!
@@shirley0151 With the rolled towel, that's a gentle start. 10 minutes may feel a bit much. Start lower and build up. I could eventually lay with nothing under my neck, totally comfortable, for 20 minutes it more. Stay in your comfort zone, you're letting go you approximately 10 pound head do the gentle "traction."
Okay so i do this often and sometimes will even look one way then the other. However i can never look fully to the left without something feeling like its going to pop. So anyways today i didnt feel that so turned my head all the way to the left and felt something pop or move? Freaking out thinking i just slipped a disc someone please help me
I lost the curve in my neck in an auto accident in 1989… it does help to take a couple of socks and fold them and place them under my neck while on my back. Nerve damage… neuropathy set in a few months ago after doing too much throwing around sheets of plywood, repairs on the goat pen and chicken coop. Taking digestive enzymes (PuraZyme) 2 caps 3 x daily a few hours away from food and taking turmeric has helped as well as gentle stretching and using my “peanut” massager along my spine between the shoulder blades while gently pressing ribs back in and bringing my arm around and over to my shoulder and above my head to get the ribs back in daily to train them to stay put.
That's how I have my head when I sleep on my special pillow. Breath way better that way too and with osteoarthritis in my neck, it feels better sleeping that way. I'm sleeping on my back and laying the weirdest way some says, but when they know why, it makes sense. 😁
I need to try this. I have scoliosis and I've been having really bad migraines lately. I also have trouble breathing through my nose, because it feels blocked at all times. I have chronic allergies too....I'm a hot mess. 😅
@@dianam9028 I use saltwater in an old nose spray to use when it's blocked. And that has sadly since given me some issues down to my shoulder a bit, then the shoulder got worse after I used my arm to take off from a fall, coz I twisted my right angle and slammed my left knee to the ground as well, so ended up operated in the shoulder in 2019 and knee in 2020. So literally pain everywhere 🤦🏻♀️🙈 But as I say.... But, at least I'm alive 😁 Hope some of the things can help you as well. 🫂🫂
