Love the jumps, even though it hurts my soul to see that little buggy land like that :D But it would have been nice to see a bit of a cogging test on the grass, or a slight incline. And to see if the radio range is improved. That is really what we are all here for.
I'm a Traxxas-guy myself but I've always been impressed by the performance, quality and price of the WLToys range. They absolutely dominate the price range.
If you just want a rc car and have fun with out all the brushless coging issues just buy the 124019 . I own 3 for a year now and it’s absolutely fun . Out of the box fun dose about 45 km/h out of the box is more than enough . Shocks are full of oil to avoid bottoming out in jumps and the diffs have enough grease out the box to ensure lubrification . OVER GREASING IS JUST AS BAD AS NONE .

After some rubbish cogging issue I had with my first rc wltoys 124016. I decided to take a punt at the version 2 wltoys 124017 and after weeks of anticipation the car arrived. To my horror it was a version 1 instead of the version 2 I ordered. I contacted banggood and they made it impossible to get a refund or a replacement for the model I ordered. I hope UA-cam stop promoting for Banggood. Love your channel by the way guys
This one looks best to me. Looking forward to mine coming in the mail. Aside from steering knuckles, tires and checking the shocks and diffs...I plan on an additional battery strap to hopefully stop it from flying out.

I sure hope my 12yo son doesn't watch this video, since he always tries to do the same "stunts" with his RC car, not only once or twice, but until his car is completely wrecked, telling me: "but in the video it was all ok"! To bad we normal people don't get the RC cars for free.... :-/

Damn i got the version 1 and the front gear box shattered on a curb going half speed 😭 it’s all good the replacement part came with 2 and it was under 15$ and since then I swapped all the electronics and never ran into any problems

This vid is actually watchable. The last few I tried to watch were so cringe, I barely made it 5 minutes combined. Somebody in those vids wasnt thinking before they spoke and it was horribly obvious by the cringey things they said.

WoW that thing took a hell of a beating If ya just ran this on a track it would last a long time I'd imagine far as not breaking I'm seriously thinking of getting one of these but I think I'll get the brushed version and fit my choice of electronics It want cost to much more for better quality electronics Once you add it all up and compare it to the RTR V2 version It should last longer making it worth it in the long run The RTR V2 is a great deal I'm not knocking it There's not many other RCs out there of this quality that is as durabile stable and fast for less than $200 bucks AWESOME review You definitely done a great job showing it's abilities and how well it can take a thrashing 😁🔥👍✌️

I have the v2, leave stock as much as you can. The metal upgrades don't fit as well and causes issues very fast but not as durable as I had hoped

63km/h on 2S , on 3S it should go over 80km/h no problem , a friend just ordered one for on 140$ !

Nothing broke! Just the center driver shaft was pretty bent afterwards, but can straighten up in the vise :)
