I think Arrma did for the K8 and Team Corally sent out upgrade parts for free
@@TomleyRC Thanks 🙏🏾 Sir Tomley of RC Awesomeness. You’re Cool Broski. Much Love and Respect from across the Pond.
Does this have better ground clearance than the Wltoys 124008?
V2 is better, but don't forget to take care of the car! Grease diffs, spur gear so that the transmission will hold up for a few good years (like mine held up) and don't bash or drive rough when it's cold outside, the plastic parts might break because of inflexibility)
Awesome V2 and its good there improving there cars . Great video mate 👍 👌
Cheers Tony… good to hear from you 😎👌
@@TomleyRC sorry bro am just bloody busy and for some reason I don't get your notifications 😒 ill try and keep up even though I still missed a couple more lol 😅
I love your woobie getting more screen time these days. "Just an old blanket" though, that's a paddlin'.
Brushed versions....saves many lives xD
God save the brushed!))
Cool, Are this new wltoys...😍 nice kit for speed and bashing... 😊🤝🤝
@Tomley RC what is a good 3s battery for the Wltoys RC cars ?
Thinking of getting one for my boy and was wondering could I use my 11.1 3s lipos in it? They are only 25c burst, I just have quite a few laying around because I play airsoft so they're wired to dean's and I don't use them anymore
It ‘should’ be okay on 3s….. but be worsened it’ll pretty quick!
La 124016 V2 è un missile...bel video di presentazione... ciao Tomley... dall'Italia
Ciao come si fa a capire se stai acquistando la V2?
thank you for this video! my son is asking: do you know if there are On Road Wheels to that suits this car?
First I suppose! Thank god they addressed it. The cogging was a joke
Are diff s good on these an does it say it can run on 3s please
which one is best v1or v2 both wltoys 124016 or 124017
can you please recommend a battery that will make car go fasterrand last longer than the stock battery? i just ordered today stock battery only last 8 minutes?
Do you think the brushed one is good. No problems. Difference?
Brushed is good.. but the electronics can be trouble some if it gets to hot.
Does it have a slipper clutch??
Nah
Just got mine today, issue is there is a mode button on the controller that does nothing?
So where the real issue lies is the trigger does not engage the forward or reverse unless you depress a lot more than resting position.
Do you need to configure the controller or the esc at all?
Got to give it up for WLtoys for even listening to the reviews on the v1, it's a pity Traxxas didn't do the same with the x-maxx ie rear hubs and hinge pins for one, especially as it costs around x10 as much😁
do you know what the mode indicator on the transmitter is there for?
Does a 3S fit in the 017?
Is there a 19t pinion and motor mount option anywhere? I dont want top speed or range for my garden anyway
Quality review man!
Thanks Dude
Very cool car! Thanks mate for that nice videoo!! 😇✌️
Really epic car 🔥🔥🤩
No probs dude
I wish I waited.i have 2 v1 and they break easy. Wl owes me a new one I think. Stay well.
Is that the blue chrome GoolRC esc? That’s been know to be very coggy.
Would love to still see that 4-way comparison.
That cogging problem is the electrics not soldered properly I've had it with different cars
It wasnt the problem in this case. It was overgeared.
It’s a gearing problem. Only happens with sensorless brushless setups.
I bought the v1 never got to play with due to the cogging and just bought the v2 motor and esc upgrade 🙃 didn't really bother with the controller and receiver. Hopefully get it all sorted....spend spend 🤣
Does it comes with 2s lipo?
Yes
you are at the top of your game my friend , this video really help weeding out the different models , i was looking at a 124016 and thought it was the V2 version but when i started looking at the specs i noticed the motor was a brushless 2848 3400kv instead of the 4300kv , almost got duped, thanks for uploading 👍 from Canada 🍁
Morning!
Good Afternoon 😅
Hello. I am looking to buy this car but it now only comes with a 45 amp esc rather than the 60A. Will this make it slower?
I really like this one:) this is one I put on my checklist for sure. I came so close to buying that v1 too
Very well done nice review 👌💪
Cheer dude
has anyone found adjustable mount for 2845??..i know there is for 3650 motor.
Nice video! I appreciate the analysis of the technical differences between V1 and V2. Very useful!!
My V2 although I think is cogging. Is there any solution. I opened it and it has the 19tooth gear and the 4.300 motor....
The V2 124017 has just arrived. Amazing little car. Just ordered the metal upgrade kit and installed a Dumborc x6 with gyro. 👍
Are spare parts availible for the new 124017?
Third party gyro is better than the remote integrated gyro. Even cheap third party gyro is better
Hey Tomley I have the buggy version of this just got it, I'm having an issue with it, after I release the throttle it apply brakes all by itself and comes to a stop instead of rolling. Do you know what's wrong with it?
