Watching people fall in love with this band will never get old - you can literally see the moment they're hooked. Honestly, if there are good things coming out of this year (other than Human Nature and the fact that Tuomas and Troy finished Auri II this week) for me the biggest is the amount of attention Nightwish is getting, and the literal army of new people introduced to the awesomeness. And really, kudos to Curtis - his astonished awe was so cool to observe!

My introduction to Nightwish was during the transition from Anette to Floor. Toumas is gifted beyond any level words can even begin to express. The entire band is absolute perfection. So much fun to see others begin the adventure of it all. Enjoy the ride!

Tuomas writes the music arrangement for the symphony orchestra but because he is not as familiar with the instruments and their capabilities he can ask for things that can't be done. He collaborates with Pip Williams as an Arranger Pip has worked with numerous bands over the years as Producer/Arranger including The Moody Blues, Status Quo and many many more, he also teaches music and music technology at the London College of Music. Nightwish also use London's The Metro Voices choir group, London's Young Musicians Children's Choir, and the Orchestre De Grandeur. Once Pip has arranged the music to their satisfaction it is pre-recorded and used as a backing track on their songs.

Metal is Family! I was Curtis back in 2004 (with Tarja singing) but I only had the CD and my imagination to learn this song.... So great when expectations and imagination are surpassed!.... Even the image of the unattended mike against the blue-white background (so many say "Where'd they go?") is purposeful..... The woman in the crowd having an out-of-body-experience... The shot of Floor's hand rising (Titanic anyone?) with THAT Floorgasmic note.....

My best friend and I would hang out in his dad's den listening to Led Zeppelin, Steppenwolf, Nazareth, Black Sabbath with Ozzy, Jimmy Hendrix, Grand Funk Railroad, and others. When all the other kids were listening to the Beatle's, The Beach Boys...and other pop groups, we were rocking out! In the '80's & beyond, it was AC/DC, Dokken, Judas Priest, The Scorpions, Ratt, Disturbed...and the group I have considered the best metal group of all time, Metallica. Nightwish....they are at the top of their own category....called AWESOMENESS! Floor Jansen is not only a once in a lifetime vocalist... she's one hell of an entertainer! She had that crowd of 82,000 people stirred up into a frenzy, and she was loving every second of it! Oh..got yourself a new Subscriber! Metal is Family! I was Curtis back in 2004 (with Tarja singing) but I only had the CD and my imagination to learn this song.... So great when expectations and imagination are surpassed!.... Even the image of the unattended mike against the blue-white background (so many say "Where'd they go?") is purposeful..... The woman in the crowd having an out-of-body-experience... The shot of Floor's hand rising (Titanic anyone?) with THAT Floorgasmic note.....

I am 63 years old and have been listening to hard rock/heavy metal since I was 8 years old! My best friend and I would hang out in his dad's den listening to Led Zeppelin, Steppenwolf, Nazareth, Black Sabbath with Ozzy, Jimmy Hendrix, Grand Funk Railroad, and others. When all the other kids were listening to the Beatle's, The Beach Boys...and other pop groups, we were rocking out! In the '80's & beyond, it was AC/DC, Dokken, Judas Priest, The Scorpions, Ratt, Disturbed...and the group I have considered the best metal group of all time, Metallica.
Nightwish....they are at the top of their own category....called AWESOMENESS! Floor Jansen is not only a once in a lifetime vocalist... she's one hell of an entertainer! She had that crowd of 82,000 people stirred up into a frenzy, and she was loving every second of it!
Oh..got yourself a new Subscriber! Nightwish fans will soon be following you also, as a lot of fans love seeing people react to their songs!!
Its a must to see and hear, all the senses are touched to the core, in my opinion the best that made me love nightwish.
