Rachel, my heart goes out to you. I was just diagnosed with endo about a month ago, and my heart breaks that you deal with it too. And to have to deal with it on top of being a full-time caregiver. I hope you were able to find a moment of relief, however small. You deserve that. Sending good vibes to both you and Kyle.

I am so sorry you also have endometriosis but so glad you finally got answers! You kind words mean so much and thankfully I was able to have a long morning of caring for myself that made it slightly more manageable the rest of the day!

I had endometriosis/fibroid stage 4 for 15 years, I'm a nurse, very painful/hard... I had hysterectomy at age 47... I'm now 49.... I am pain free now... I will continue to pray for you... I used magnesium oil for rough painful days....

Hi Rachel, your video today hit home for me. I, too, deal with endometriosis. On days when I had to push through the pain, I would put hand warmers in my front pants pockets. It worked as a heating pad on the go. Minor relief, but relief is relief, right? You can also try the heat patches for your back, stick them on your front. A mild muscle relaxer may help too.

Sweetheart, I had endometriosis, and the way I finally got relief was to have surgery. That is probably not an option for you, being, like you said, your husbands caregiver. I know what you are going through. The pain is unbearable. I remember having such pain from it, every month, there were times I could not sleep for days. Back then, I didn't even know what was wrong with me. I only found out, when I went to the emergency room one night(because of severe pain), and they let me know, that they had a feeling, that I was suffering from endometriosis, and they would do some testing(laparoscopy), and that is when they realized I actually had it. The surgery was the best thing that could have happened to me, but there was a 2-3 month healing period. Anyway, I am just so sorry, for all that you and your husband are going through. You two need a break. Sending some positive vibes your way... I will keep you both, in my thoughts! ❤

Thank you for your kind and heartfelt message. I am so sorry you have been touched my endometriosis and the horrific pain it comes with. I am so glad the surgery brought you relief. I had mine just over a year ago and sadly I am the percentage of women that do not experience relief after surgery. It was validating to know that it was Endo and that’s has help with the emotional burden but the pain sadly hasn’t changed 😭

Some days can be overwhelming. You have had more than your fair share. I hear a gluten free diet helps some with endometriosis. I dont know If you have tried that, just mentioning it.

Truly it can be but one foot in front of the other! I have actually been gluten free for over a decade. It really helped with my IBS like symptoms and I cannot eat it now when I do have a horrid reaction where I almost feel drugged.

I am sorry it causes you so much pain. I myself had it as well. They found a cyst on my right ovary in 2013. My dr told me it was an endometrioma , that it was benign and common. I would get mild to moderate pelvic pain that would come and go. I didnt spend much time researching endometriosis i just lived with the mild discomfort. Fast faorward to 2018 i had another scan and the endometrioma on my ovary had acrually decreased in size a bit, so i put it out of my mind. Then, in june 2023 i was diagnosed with clear cell ovarian cancer. Only then did i learn that having endometeiosis significantly increases a womans chance of develooing the cancer. I dont know if you know that already, but my dear please get a scan once a year to make sure things are ok and norhing looks suspicious.

I too had this same condition and pain pills like motrin or asprin did not help the pain go away.I did find something that worked and it was diurex water pills.I took the non caffene ones. I took 2 and that was the only thing that worked. I still would bleed like a stuck pig but no pain. Thank God for Menopause. Please give it a try.😊😊

Wish you could find the right doc to help you. This is not good. My wife had this, then ovarian cancer, then brain cancer. Basically we’re screwed now but we are older so, so, I dunno. Did mention Dr Amy to you, but I’n no wizard on judgement, so pls pop her a question or two, it may surprise you. She is a very busy young doc who had ov cancer.
