Indeed it was, in a later video, we pulled the engine out and swapped the block to a good one. Problem solved, and we could see the damage to piston 4 and bore of the same. It was a rubbish situation at that point of the build , but we got there in the end :)

The valve lash was adjusted just before it got dropped it. The sound you can hear ticking away, is one of the piston skirts catching the cylinder wall during each stroke (piston slap). We pulled that badboy apart, it wasn't happy at all in there.
