- I hope you enjoy this video. This is my eighty third "WHATS IN THE BOX" kit review and I hope to be completing this model when i have the necessary skills to do it the justice it deserves in a bout 10 years time. I have a model collection/stash of 33-40 1/72 Spitfires which i am currently building badly for the amusement or to the annoyance of my fellow UA-camrs, As my competence levels are not sufficient to complete this model it will be held in reserve for when i deem the time is right. As a novice modeller my intention is to learn the various assembly techniques and skills required, especially that of painting, so as i can produce half decent looking models, I concluded the best way to do this is to start with something simple, personally i think the best way to learn a new skill is repetition; try, try and try again. Hopefully by completing these 33 Spitfire models i will learn a few tricks of the trade. Whilst doing this I am also hoping to improve my VERY basic UA-cam skills, so far just uploading these videos has resulted in tantrums of titanic proportions, yes unfortunately i am also techno-phobic.

Nice kit icms,i have the miniart Mercedes-Benz MB 1500A 4x4 millitary vehicle ,if you know the one i mean,i believe it has been discontinued now,im planning to do a diarama of the lufaffa version with a border model 1/35 scale Focke wolf fighter.
i think i know the one you mean big brutish looking thing, will look good next to a fW190, 1/35 big aircraft tha hope you got lots of space.
@TheNoviceModeller yes I think you know the one,has a really cool lufaffa camo scheme ,next to my mean looking camo Focke wulf,it should fit in my glass display cabinet, failing that,I can always use half of next doors conservatory haha.

To be honest @bobbylee2853 i'd prefer to keep politics out of my channel comments, but i suppose everyone is entitled to their opinions on any subject: so here's my response. Personally i think ALL politicians are corrupt narcissists with potential psychotic tendencies, so i will not rebuke your statement; however i will suggest that perhaps Ismail Haniyeh, Prime Minister of Gaza since hmmmm 2006 (dictators normally serve long terms in office) and defacto leader of Hamas also has a similar vehicle in his garage.
Instead of repeatedly doing "what's in the box" could you do some actual model making for a change.

Hello there @nigellabrum413 and thanks for watching. Apologies for the constant stream of "whats in the box" videos, unfortunately as an out of control kit collector who as has amassed a collection of 325 kits in 4 months my intention is to do pretty much one per day until Christmas. They are very quick to produce and do provide the opportunity for me to keep the channel ticking over whilst i go to work and do the other mundane day to day things we all have to keep up with. I started this channel in mid February and my build count to date is 12 x quick build Spitfires (for painting practice) 1 x P51D Mustang which i attacked with a Black & Decker sander and an assortment of 10 Japanese small aircraft built consecutively over 11 days a week or so ago. Most of these are in a state of incompleteness LOL but i am currently putting the finishing touches to the 10 Japanese aircraft, video probably tomorrow, then next week i will be completing most of the 12 Spitfires. When this list of chores is complete i hope to try and build 1 or 2 small kits per week or 1 large kit per week, this is a reasonable target as i work 4 on 4 off (excluding when i turn in for overtime to fund my kit obsession). Obviously i am a novice at this modelling malarkey and a total technophobe when it comes to UA-cam and editing, so i am currently trying to acquire some of the basic skills for model and channel development. I do also intend to eventually dabble in modelling equipment videos plus relevant books and possibly films and a few other bits of randomness. i am pretty charged about the channel, though i am having to practice patience for various reasons, i hope you are willing to be patient with my bizarre little channel.

Hi @bobbylee2853. Please lets keep politics out of our hobby. Andy does this for our entertainment at great expense and dedicates a lot of his time to do it. If you wish to voice your political opinion then there are dedicated places for you to do so,take it there. The rest of us want to watch him and his journey in our wonderful hobby. Enjoy it for what it is.
