Yes my dear. We have to remember the long time relationship between our 2 nations Ghana and Nigeria, I mean the era of 'agege'. For sure Ghaneans came back home with things learnt in Nigeria... Black soap is called also 'anago djale' (soap of yoruba people)... Personnally, I use the one from Togo ('anago de' or 'lagos de', meaning soap from Yoruba people or from Lagos'') and the dudu-osun from Nigeria... In short, we' re blessed with this black soap in that part of Africa ! Note that some ingrédients may be added/omited, (depending on the country)... Love !

Nigeria like to cliam any good thing that comes from Ghana has the Originator this creates division and it must stop . Give credit to the Country and people who work hard to produce it . This black soap is made in Ghana not made in Nigeria. Any skin benefits are destroyed by the intense boiling of ingredients. All oils do have a smoke point and I’m pretty sure that doesn’t include rapid boiling. Furthermore, the conditions in which this soap is made is poor at best. The soap making area is not sanitary at all.

Why do you called this beautiful invention “black soap”. Please call it “Alatasamina” as the Ghanaians named it because it came from Yuroba.
It’s so beautiful and far better than the European ones. It’s kills every skin disease and leave the skin very fresh.
    God richly blessed Africans

It is Alata SaminA. "Alata" is the Ghanaian slang for Nigeria/Nigerian. Samina is soap. So it's Nigerian soap. Like you said.

Beautiful video. Easy to follow. My question is, you talked about rolling the black soap in ashes for boiling again. So what kind of ashes, is the ashes from firewood? That is is it just any kind of ashes?

correction soap was not invented by the yorubas, - but by the igbos who smelted iron on an industrial scale in 7 villages in Lejja, near Nsukka ,where the iron slag deposites had been carbon-dated to 2000 years B.C

I applaud and commend you for promoting African products 👏🙌, however at the same time please stop showing details and process of how things are made, these are " trade secrets " and the next time a foreign entity will monopolize items, patent and claim ownership. Taking the livelihood of how mothers and brothers, am seeing all over. The moment the is attention and money to be made "China" as an example will be mass producing. Thank you 😊and congratulations.

As a people why do we advertise the handful of scalable business skills we have! It's a violent assault on our collective survival. These sorts of videos reach a global community of people a very small proportion of which are black brothers and sisters. Ancient methods and recipes ingredients skills resources just all out there. And we wonder why things are the way the are for us. No other people group does this. Something to really consider. Sharing within the community makes us stronger advertising to the World is ...words fail me.
