That's nice to see the split support going up the shoes! When I played hockey, I used two sets of laces on each skate - one tightened the lower and one for the upper part of the skate 🙂
I bought a pair of those, ended up having to return them, the toe box smushed my toes on top. I was bummed, I was really looking forward to many miles in them. They were great everywhere else, just not enough volume in the toe box.
I have the MX242 and love most of the shoe except the narrow toe cap. My wide feet and toes don't come to a narrow point like the shoe's toe cap does. There's no give in the toe area at all, almost negating the flexibility of the rest of the shoe. I also have "tailors bunions" and I find that the bunion does protrude through the mesh "window" in the side of the shoe, but the side of my foot can feel the hard edge of the leather areas of the shoe that are not flexible.

Love Lake shoes I wouldn’t buy another brand.. these look great.. I ride cx332s on the road and have a couple of other pairs excellent ❤👍🤩🏅🚴

I have the cx241 which is similar feels great when stepping into them but the shoe tongue is too small
