I had one of these, it was my first Motorbike, it was £40 in 1976, got rid of it after passing the Bike driving test.
It didn't have all that fairing/mud guard malarky around the back wheel, that made it like an old blokes bike.

The 350 version was called a navigator. An old mate had a jubilee cylinder head gasket problems, a cousin had a navigator same issues head/s needed skimmed awful bikes glad I had Triumph’s this was back in the 1960’s happy days !!

My mate had one of these bikes back in the days when we were oily oyks of 16 or so (many MANY years ago).
His was a pile of shite....but then again, all the bikes me and my mates rode tended to have issues.....apart from the newly emerging Japanese stuff. We were very envious cos the Jubilee got swapped for a Honda 4.....very nice too.

I'm surprised it got to the end of the yard without blowing up!
I had one of these dreadful machines.
      I would consider buying another.
If I take up Yachting & required an Anchor!

I was told by an old mate that the little Norton twins could have been brilliant bikes but the accountants got hold of the design and screwed it up.

I had one of them. Unfortunately, they were pretty unrelaible due to the pistons collapsing and they would seize suddenly without any notice as I recall. I had to put 2 pairs of pistons in it in about 21/2 years. Nice to look at but a bit heavy. They also made a 350 cc version which was more reliable or so I understood.

My father in law had the 350cc version. I think the frame and cycle parts of this model were shared with the Francis Barnett model also made by AMC at this time.

The 350cc version is the navigator with roadholder forks. Very sporty 80+mph easily and quick off the mark.

Sounds lovely, I assume that it has an over square bore and stroke.
