Thanks Larry! That track got built the year after we moved. It's quite an amazing shop! That white, yellow and red slant nose was an IMSA car but when I saw it there was a Ground Pat'i sticker on the hood. Great memories! My 944T still has the Crescent City Porsche logo on it where his dad use to work all those years ago! Just subscribed and thanks again!
I was born in 77 and I remeber that Exxon car with the fans on it.. I loved it back then and even more now amazing shoot!! The roads in Louisianna are terrible especially around Ft. Polk..
I know I'm late to the party and this is a released a while ago but wow the cars are amazing. I just started following your channel Larry and I love your enthusiasm for the cars and for the people that love Porsche and cars in general. Really touching to hear Dylan mentioned Katrina and called his experience a sob story. I doubt anyone really felt that way I think we all feel for all the people that lived through Katrina and that are trying to struggle out of it still to this day and it's heartwarming to hear from Dylan that, you know from the ashes, rises the Phoenix. What an amazing place I hope to visit there someday.
by far my favorite video to date Larry .... havent watched all your content but have enjoyed several dozen hours easily.... great job thank you sir..... i graduated high school in 84 and remember the trooper snooper quite well.... doubtful it would work do to several generations of detection tech advancement....
Larry - can you get a visit/shoot with Bruce Canepa? That would be an all-time epic shoot if you can get in there. Legendary Porsche race cars. 959's, 917's etc. Canepa was integral in getting the 959 here in the US. His IG page will make you saturate your shorts.
Awesome shop and group of cars. Cough cough I’ve might have seen 8g in 3rd and then shift into 4th in a gt2rs here or there on the streets. Definitely a beast.
Super cool what a great guy told what he knew very well didn't talk crap if he didn't have info You guys made me laugh when you said mid 80s were you alive I wasn't loli got my driver's license and my first lift truck license in 84🤣🤣🤣👍😎👍
I live in Colorado Springs, and as Larry can attest to, we have one of the biggest Porsche dealerships in the country here, and many of the cars they have on display in their multilevel showroom are customer cars, and they proudly have them on display for public viewing much like Nola, what a cool place 👍🏻👍🏻
Great episode. But is there any shop similar with corvettes you can visit? Im getting into the vette world and im really curious about their racecars like the c5r and c6 gt cars. Would love something about that
My guess would be "that depends a lot on where you're from". LOTS of old airhead Porsches in Denmark (conveniently close to Germany (unless we're taking the early 40s.. ;) where the japanese exotics are *far* more rare. In the US, probably not the same. Oh well - who can't honestly appreciate these icons?!

If you want that Larry Chen peeker sticker head over to the Etsy store. Each print comes with peeker stickers! www.etsy.com/shop/larrychenphoto
I remember you at SpeedHunters, too long ago. Keep going💜
“Uhhhhhhhhh”
Just found this. Tell Vin to use a turbofan for his Porsche. That would be sick.
Being a Porsche mechanic I really appreciate this video. Thank you for showcasing more german stuff!

That burgundy colored Porsche is amazing looking!!
It was spectacular. Especially for original paint right?
I wish I could spare $200k to buy one😍
Arena Red I believe!
That Lotus just casually chillin' with his German homies.....
Small correction on the turbo fans: the air is extracted through the turbo fans, from the inside and brakes.
Another great episode, thanks :)
Just imagine the value in here. Or better still the story of each car. Amazing. Best brand in the Universe.
Grand Prix du Mardi Gras was in 1990. I was there!
Awesome! WidowMaker is the loaner lol
That's a badass white widebody. I hope Larry gets to the 914!! I'm a 914 nerd
There is a old video of bbs turbo fans on a Porsche inside and rolling road wind tunnel and it shows how the fans work.
I used to live literally right behind Brumos in Jacksonville. So many cool cars in and out of there.
