I love getting the tank suit in Dead Space. Especially after the first chapter. Really helps with inventory space and also adds to the whole “Isaac is going crazy” vibe that the game gives you.

@Thorn Adkins at the end of DS1 he was found unconscious floating in space on his spaceship by EarthGov, so all of his possessions would have been taken away from him. All of his credits, upgraded RIG suits, ammo, kenisis module, etc, plus all of his one of a kind, rare, powerful, reverse engineered mining tools which made splattering giant necromorphs really easy.

It's the standard issue suit issued to sailors and marines of the E.D.F. I don't even know what this Union Marine Corporation even is, nor have I ever heard of it. Where did you get these details from?
question, am i just not that well versed on temperature, or is it a bit odd that the default suits allow people to survive being in the vaccum of space, but in dead space 3 your space suit isent enough to deal with the frozen planet, so you need another space suit that is appearantly more thick in terms of warmth retention
It's because upon the crash your suit becomes damaged and so the temperature compensatory device doesn't work anymore therefore you need to find a new one even if it's the same design you can proceed with it with no issues.
