Please turn off the throttle booster and retest with 87 tune, you changed 2+ things at one time and it's hard to identify what caused the change you are seeing. A simple pedal booster from sprint/banks can make your truck feel much faster all without using an intake or other tune. What I'm interested in, is do you notice any thing just running stock pedal with 87 tune.
Borla Atak exhaust is the only way to go. I looked at Flowmaster and a few others. Borla was my first mod and it made the truck sound like a Charger/Challenger exhaust. Just installed the S&B intake and holy crap! It sounds completely different now and I love it! Taking it to the track this weekend for a big Mopar event.
@@MrJustinWheeler yes. Took about an hour and a half. Hardest part was getting the old exhaust off. I cut the driver side right at the axle. I set the suspension to off-road 2 and did everything on the ground. Put the truck on a lift and you could probably do it all in an hour.

I just got a Diablo Intune I3 Platinum with pcm swap for my 2016. I requested pcm swap off the little paper they sent. 6 Business days ago and havent heard anything from (holley).
IMO the Carven competitor series catback exhaust set up is just as good as a borla exhaust but to each his own, videos don’t really do justice as far as exhaust notes, but when I heard another Ram owner with his Carven exhaust, I pulled the trigger on investing on the same setup, I’m completely satisfied, they now have another muffler called the TR so it’s something you might consider, it’s whatever tickles your ear
I think the new exhaust system AWE will sound better than the arak I’ve already seen a UA-camr compared he’s previous exhaust borla atak to he’s new AWE exhaust and the new exhaust sounds better. I’d say get the AWE OFG exhaust it’s new and it sounds great.

I like the timing tweak,and changing shift points. So far, I have done 3 trucks with dial in tuners. The last also was a scan tool and could tell me exactly what and where something was wrong.
I installed a new Flowmaster Super-10 performance muffler replacing just the main factory muffler & for now left the two rear dual resonators & got a fantastic raw Hemi sound yet fairly quiet for my sleeping neighbors when I leave at 3:30am for work. Down the road I might have those resonators removed for the full blown street racer sound like my 2008 Ram work truck had.
My buddy at work has corsa on his 5th gen sport night editing ram and it sounds spectacular. I am about to put a flowmaster 40 muffler on my 2017 ram. It should sound sweet. We have borla atak on my wife's jeep srt and it also sounds spectacular.
I laughed when you were turning up the throttle response. I have the Diablo Tuner and unlocked pcm on my wife's jeep srt. We turned off the mds and ran the 93 octane tune. The 6.4l is pretty well maxed out from the factory so it didn't do much but it will be great to have the tuner when our warranty is up and we put headers on it.

Long tube headers 3 inch y pipe and electronic cut off best sound ive heard off my ram you get the hemi phart and back fire noise at high rpms! And u can make it stock quite with a touch of a button! Stock silencer still cause california hates loud v8's
I got a cold air intake. But the only time i feel a lil something extra on the pedal is winter time. The air is actually cold all around the engine bay and it works, the truck is a tiny bit quicker when you give her

I can't wait to do my intake and pcm on my ram. I have the carven muffler on mine with everything else stock on exhaust. I'm very happen with the sound. It's deep, not raspy at all, and doesn't drone too bad.
I did a resonator and muffler delete on my 21 1500 Laramie. Sounds amazing and very mean growl. Only way to go and was only $180 at my local shop here.
Still waiting on delivery of my new RAM 1500. I won't do much to it for the first couple of years, but knowing myself, I'm going down this route sooner or later. I want to transform it into a full on baja runner!
Well I say your truck your choice but I got a 2010 TRX 4 Ram 1500 and cuz Dodge was stupid and put cast iron headers on aluminum heads I had to replace the headers so for exhaust I'm running BBK shorty's ceramic coated headers a stock y pipe but a MBRP stainless catback sounds damn good but not to loud
@@dustinjohnson7002 I put them on bout 2 years ago now. The install ain't bad just gotta have patience cuz the driver side is annoying not bad just annoying. But other than welding a nut to the broken bolt in the head I think it took me maybe 2 hours more or less

Carven Exhaust is the best in my opinion. You can do it your self. Also get rid of the little resonators in the back.

So the resonator has nothing to do with catalytic converter
@livefootagetube No, I would never touch the cats, everything else is behind the cats with resonators at the very rear of the exhaust pipes.
Seems unnecessary to buy a pcm when I think you can send your pcm out to be unlocked for few hundred bucks

First mod I did was a Diablo sport i3 tune with pcm swap on the 2019. Best mod. Without it all other mods don’t yield much

No change at all just doesn’t bog down when cruising. I drive with it off and I still get the same mpg
