This DLC releases on June 20th, 2024 alongside the 1.0 release of the base game.

@@Armandosparadais69 For me, is much better. Very realistic + i can build a realistic Soviet city (im from an ex-Soviet country). But i think most people still prefer this game to CS2. It's more casual and more like a city-building simulator, while W&S: SR is a whole republic with many cities.

Slovakian brutalist buildings in desert and tropics feel surreal. But very interesting.

1)this game is about country under your command and thus your responsibility just like any other city buildier akin to Frospunk or Tropico and most strategy games. If your "socialism"(or whatever you'd call it) here is a dystopia, it's your fault. You have freedom to follow the ideals, not force the barrel of a gun upon citizenry here and it's up to you to chose. You may as well call it Latveria and RP;)
2)water spraying trucks are used to help clean the streets to prevent dust build up AND reduce heat in the city.
@@TheArklyte i live in the desert once (though only a month) and let me tell you that road dont get dust build up bc the wind always pick it up, also why would you need to spray the building IF the building is 40 feet tall?

I hope the game ultimately gets a DLC with the same setting, the publisher commented on another video that there could be another Workers and Resources game with a non eastern bloc theme, but I think that would throw away the soul of the game. There's already Highrise City, Captain of Industry, and more, the eastern bloc/socialist theme of this game ties it together really well and gives the gameplay a cohesive direction to go in, not to mention all the modded buildings from those countries that people throw in.
I agree, but because of the great things that only in this game was made, I will be so happy if there is gonna be something for non eastern time, I think it should be like Age of Empires, You choose the type of kingdoms you want to play, so you can have American style, Cuban style, Chinese style, Spanish style, European style, and more, I love this game, but it could be nice if he could make it bigger, like there's a world around you, you pick a location in the replica of our world, and you can play in real life locations, and having outside world communicating with your own region .... obviously I'm going too far ahead, I want it to happen in the near future... maybe it's impossible for you to make a vast map, where you can pick a region, and there's cities growing on your surroundings, maybe with multiplayer in the future we can simulate it better, having a group of regions with real players in a one big state...that could be insane.
I think adding geographical settings from all over the USSR and it's allies would be appropriate considering it's about the Soviet Republic

YAAAASSSSSSSS!!!!!! I hope they come up with a more varied commodity production, medical equipment/pharmaceutical industries, and a proper pollution and healthcare system update too! Natural disasters and epidemics, more fleshed out geopolitical and global events that affect trade, population, tourism and prices of goods, there's so much that can be done with this game! I love it.
Just imagine if they made a real option to start in the early 1900s or late 1890s

do not compare it with cities failurenes, WRSR is the best city builder game ever with features that CS will never dream of having.

With the amount of content in the base game and workshop support I think developers deserve our money.

I wish it was on GOG earlier. Now I have to stick with Steam. However I bookmarked the DLC. I am not sure, when I will be able to get back to this game, but 3Division should be rewarded for their extra work on the basic game, because they totally exceeded the expectations of the base game.

I hadn't bought this DLC yet. I plan on it once random map generation is added to it.
i bet that Siberian Biomes will have to deal with most brutal extended winters for the Forstpunk fans. the challenge here is obvious.
the Southeast Asia looking biomes look very rainy, is the challenge extended rains and monsoon seasons that slow down traffic and render solar useless? probably no snow to worry about. flooding might be very interesting to deal with if it might be a bit outside the scope here.
MidEast looks interesting but wonder what kind of challenge this Biome offers? greater citizen water needs? trees grow slowly and have low logging value? probably some snow like in some parts of Iran or Afghan climate. maybe gets short but deceptively cold winters?

Are you adding thematic buildings? Especially the "old local buildings", churches, need to be adopted for the desert and tropics.
You can literally see a mosque and "desert" houses at 0:29
