My favorite part of the Fecto fight was the inversion of the isekai stereotype. People crack jokes about how many isekai are started by someone getting hit with a truck. Kirby ends his otherworldly adventure by hitting *somebody else* with a truck.
He only got an honourable mention, but what I love about Morpho Knight is the fact he reverses every classic Grim Reaper trope ever and is still terrifying. Instead of a large dark figure wrapped in a cloak surrounded by the cold wielding a dishevelled scythe, he's a tiny unsuspecting insect with bright colours, glamorous armour, a beautifully decorative sword and fire that burns like the sun.

Just as it is said that when each life ends, a new star is born. It has finally shown it's face. And just shown it again. That is no coincidence. Something is coming the likes of which we've never seen before. Not even Galacta Knight or Fecto Forgo could even prepare for. Morpho Knight is getting ready to take flight. And Kirby will have to be ready.
Shocked the Master Crown didn't even get an honorable mention; its design, its relevance to Magolor's redemption, its surprising importance to the overarching lore foreshadowed within its amazing battle theme... That fight was pure SPECTACLE.
I know right? And it was the final trial in a redemption arc, something that we rarely see! Magalor is directly confronting the very thing that consumed him and brought about what we thought was his death, and it's glorious!
I really like the spectacle and some attacks are very cool, I just personally wouldn't put it in the top 10. The fight itself is perfectly fine but something about the crowns attacks feel somewhat lacking compared to final bosses of the past.
During Sora's reveal gameplay Sakurai had to fight Marx in Super Smash Bros Ultimate in Sora's campain mode. He said there, live on stream, that he had to sensour Marx the first time he appeared in the Kirby series because the initial design was too terrifying. And Marx was already terrifying and dark enough to fit the Kingdom Hearts boss criteria. I don't want to know what is the initial product.
I think it was officially confirmed by the developers in star allies that they intentionally make the kirby lore the way it is where the plot starts out simple and childish and as it goes along it becomes a bit more darker and serious I find that funny given no matter how deep the plot goes kirby himself remains simple and childlike it also makes us think "what god will this child end next?"
One quote that I think is from Kirby Lore UA-camr Meteorz is that the person who cares about Kirby Lore the least... is Kirby himself. H's just livin' his best life with his friends.
Fun fact about Fecto Elfilis that makes it extremely cooler: its fight theme (well, one of them) is titled "Two Planets Approach the Roche Limit." The Roche limit is the minimum distance two planets/celestial bodies can be from each other before one starts to _tear the other apart_ by its gravitational field. Kirby is secretly the coolest Nintendo franchise ever
Another fun fact about Fecto Elfilis is that its giant meteor summoning attack is called something along the lines of "Fermi Paradox's answer". The Fermi Paradox is the question of "If extraterrestrial life exists, why hasn't it contacted us yet? Kirby's answer? The angelic chinchilla alien ATE them all.
Little misconception about Star Dream’s Heart. In reality the parts of Hartman’s Soul is exactly what’s preventing Star Dream from reaching its full potential, that’s what causes the “Fatal Error” I’m pretty sure. Star Dream needs to have Hartman’s Soul removed to achieve full power, that’s why it’s sucked Kirby up and why the heart itself did nothing at first. It tricks Kirby into destroying the parts of Star Dream that contain part’s of Hartmans Soul and each part destroyed erases a part of the soul from existence. With the last piece destroyed the heart itself is free to unleash its full wrath. While I personally prefer Sectonia for its lore, presentation, music (btw the song played is called Fatal Bloom’s at Midnight) Star Dream is way more devious, Hartman dosent even get a after life, he is litterally erased from existence. And to think that all of this stemmed from a grieving father just wanting to see his daughter again.
It's ironic that absorbing Haltman's soul led to Star Dream reaching sentience, but it throws away that soul to be more efficient and reach eternal prosperity, reverting back into a mindless, broken machine. It ultimately causes its own downfall as much as Kirby, never seeing the value of life even when granted it.
It gets worse when you realize that Haltmann's repeated use of Star Dream eroded his memories to the point he couldn't recognize the daughter he'd sought to see again... when she was right in front of him acting as his secretary.
Yeah, from what the lore implies, it was literally using Haltmann's Soul as a shield. Considering its utter disregard for life, that's HORRIFIC. O.O Also, I love how it's narratively incorporated in to the music piece, where the leitmotif only kicks in once the last of the pillars, and by extension the last shreds of Haltman's soul, are destroyed, almost as if it's saying "ACTIVATING SEQUENCE! READY! GO!" :O
@@bluestreaker9242 It’s weird Josh wouldn’t say that when he showed a picture on “Vs Star Dream Soul OS” “Haltmans Soul is yet to be purged”. If it was running on an energy source wouksnt it make sense that Star Dream would protect its energy reserve rather than purge it? Instead it offers Hartmans Soul on a silver platter. But I’ll let this slide, Kirby lore can be surprisingly complex, it’s not Zelda or Kingdom Hearts levels of bad, but it has its moments.
@@Dialga2006 Heh, yeah. To be fair, a lot of things in Kirby can be open to interpretation, much like the lore of KH and Zelda, but some things are very blatant and not at all red herrings, and yet people will be like "No, there must be another reason, it's too obvious." Like, if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's probably a duck, just sayin'. Sometimes the obvious answer IS the right one. X3

I want to throw this out there. I know that in terms of gameplay, Star Allies is sometimes looked down upon with how the allies kind of do everything for you. That being said, if they ever decide to do something similar to Star Allies and let you call upon old allies from said games, I would LOVE to have Elfilin be such a returning cast member to play as. Just think about it; some of the most interesting Dream Friends who came back in that game weren't the friends of Kirby, but his former enemies. Magolor, Marx, Dark Meta Knight, Daroach, etc. We had to fight these guys and deal with their crazy attacks, and now WE get to use those crazy attacks. Basically, we have Elfilin come back, using the time since we last saw him to learn to harness and use the powers of his destructive half. In other words, we can use Vecto Elfilis as a playable character. Toned down a bit, probably, but still cool. Plus, would they have Elfilin full-on transform into Elfilis as he fights, or do we get a smaller, friendlier-looking Elfilis form? Only time will tell, but playing as bosses from Kirby is SO COOL!
@@smashmaster521 lol that's the point. We talk about how rough the boss fight movesets are when we have to fight them, so it's cool to be able to use it against the system. So yeah, I WILL give them ideas. I want to play as the boss that I struggled against.
I actually thought about this as a hypothetical. I think Elfillin would probably stay the same but that would be kinda funny seeing him with Elfillis' powers. Imagine him with that giant spear. There is the size problem though. Kirby characters are small but there's probably a reason Ribbon was relegated to Adeleine's aerial support besides lack of moves.
Void is my namesake for a reason. 0.0 I absolutely LOVED his fight… all 3 of them. And I still do. The Astral Birth fight is particular is such an absolute spectacle of fear, awe, and sadness. The MUSIC, the five movement “The Star Conquering Traveler” suite, is the best the series has to offer. Say what you will about Star Allies, but I believe Void’s final boss fight is the crowning achievement of the original 25 years of Kirby (…even if Magalor Soul from RtDL Deluxe’s True Arena is a much better, MUCH harder fight).
POYO!!!!! So yeah nice to start Kirby month with some bosses. From the cute to the nightmare inducing this series has some very memorable fights that our adorable pink hero has to contend with.
How far back in time do I have to travel to find this clip? I heard it once in my younger years, and almost NEVER again. Until the Andrew Collette show played Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The shorter version of this clip and “Imma Firin’ mah lazar” both played for that cutscene after beating Dharkon.
Boss rush in forgotten land has some incredible bosses. Meta knight in his first game. Every dedede boss fight. Honestly aside the ones that hide in the background they are all fun
KIRBY! Also, void is a being of pure negative energy, but when it is exposed to positive energy ( from the text in the pause menus) we can see it dream of some familiar things. This begs the question, if a positive void existed, would it be doing those things? Would it also be immensely powerful? Now then, I ask you this, who do we know who does all this already? Kirby. Kirby is a void born of love and positivity instead of tyrannical rage. Kirby and void, are one and the same. I wasn't sure if you already knew this, so I was just making sure, great video by the way!
I belive that was a mistranslatiin. The reason Void looks like Kirby Is because he was being corrupted by Kirby's positive Energy during the fight. At least I remembers Someone saying that
@@francescominoguarino827 interesting theory chum, but void already looked like Kirby, even after we just first see it’s…. Orb form. So o don’t think Kirby “corrupted him”, but he did expose him to positive energy and because this made void think of Kirby things ( as it was getting more positive), it can be reasoned, that Kirby is a positive void.
1:07 That Nostalgia Critic line is perfect for Squashini. XD 20:57 I just love that Star Dream OS’ colors match up to Nova’s actual colors from Kirby Super Star, furthering the connection along with the Heart battle. 29:19 Wonder if anyone noticed that the orb in the background resembles Void Termina in the remake.
You know.... I've been following your content for YEARS! And seing you , in a kirby boss video, say that Miracle Matter is more intereting as a boss than 0², AND not forgeting about dear Drawcia (and the scream
Nice touch with the "computer virus" section saying the program was from Haltmann. I've heard World of Light described as "Kirby's Slightly Unusual Thursday (When Will They Learn)" and honestly, true. Man, remember when people thought it was bullshit that Death Battle had Kirby defeat Majin Buu but then Kirby only got stronger from there? Ah Magolor. Obligatory two nickles comment but something something blue and yellow "ally" ropes you into gathering artifacts of power only to betray you, change form, and smack you with a multistage boss fight that's the most memorable thing in the game while terrifying music with multiple leitmotifs plays, something something two nickles. There's a reason there's so much fan art depicting Magolor and Volo hanging out.
An especially cool thing about Drawcia is how she paved the way for later endgames, most notably with final bosses gaining a "Soul" form of some kind (Marx, Magolor, Sectonia, etc.). Given how Shinya Kumazaki (the current Kirby director) has a thing for Lovecraftian horror (especially in some of his personal artwork, which includes Drawcia!), the writing was on the board. Also, nearly everything about Void is (perhaps intentionally) left vague. Is Void another Kirby? Is Kirby a Dark Matter turned good like Gooey? Is every villain up to this point a spawn of Void? Who knows? Star Allies is probably the closest we'll get to a straight-up Lovecraft story in a Nintendo game.
Correction: Meta Knight didn't summon Galacta in Robobot. The computer did so as part of an "Admin Aptitude Test", after having run out of unique clones to use for that purpose.
Bizarrely enough, that "Admin Aptitude Test" was something added in localization. In the original Japanese version, Star Dream senses that Meta Knight wishes to fight strong warriors (similar to his wish in Super Star Ultra), and grants that wish by summoning the Dark Matter and Sectonia clones, and then finally Galacta Knight. Not sure why the localizers made that change.
@@ShadwSonic I....guess? It just feels a bit strange since in this new context, Star Dream summoned the warrior who was sealed away for how insanely overpowered he was just for an admin test. Star Dream must have some insanely high standards, lol. I find it hard to believe that Haltmann could even use Star Dream at all if the computer required this test of every new admin.
The way you described galacta knight in his segment is the reason why I’ve been wanting that character in smash so much, and it makes me wonder why Kirby fans either don’t want him, or don’t think about him when it comes to being one of the main characters to get included. Usually I hear something like oh it’ll just be another MK, bro what do you mean another MK? There’s so much they could pull from.
@@ShounenAyt yo, lapi I was not expecting to run into you on this video, but that's cool, hope you're doing good, and thanks, finally someone gets why GK would be good for smash.
My honorable mentions: Core Kabula (Kirby Planet Robobot) Just when you thought it was over after beating C.O.G.S. again, this angry zeppelin shows up for revenge. Dyna Blade (Kirby Super Star) All she wanted to do was feed her kids. Is that so wrong. Kracko (Various) This one-eyed storm cloud is always eager to bring the thunder. Macho Dedede (Kirby Star Allies) He was a wimp before Anchor Arms. Now he’s a jerk and everybody loves him. Master Crown (Kirby’s Return To Dreamland Deluxe: Magalor Epilogue) Magolor’s concludes his redemption arc by facing off against a demonic apple tree. Master Hand And Crazy Hand (Kirby And The Amazing Mirror) Because of course Hal Labs would include a Super Smash Bros boss in a Kirby game. Meta Knight (Kirby And The Forgotten Land) The Z Axis did wonders to Kirby’s favorite sword fighting partner. Not to mention that his boss theme in this game is so awesome. And that was the year he won a Grammy for Void’s sake. Nightmare (Kirby’s Adventure) Evil sorcerer and CEO of NME Enterprises, this guy will stop at nothing to ensure that all of Dreamland is under his nightmarish grasp. Whispy Woods (Various) He’s the guardian of the forest and the first boss in almost every Kirby game.
God, i love queen sectonia's fight. Genuinely, my favorite boss fight of all time and moonstruck blossom is one of my favorite pieces of music. Her and taranza's backstory is also something that's inspired me to no end
We can't forget that it's Drawcia who started the trend of having a boss come back as its soul. I'm very sure that I looked this up before since Marx is my favorite Kirby villain, and I wanted to know who it was that started it all, since I also think I read up how Marx didn't originally have a soul form.
It's crazy that it took me until Return to Dreamland Deluxe to actually see why people loved Magolor. The fight in the true arena was nuts and I can see why this tiny mage has his fans. Speaking of the true arena, it actually has a very tragic element to it. Most people know that the Master Crown corrupted Magolor and all who wear it before as explained in the Magolor Epilouge. When you get phase 2, Magolor's eyes disappear and only the eye mouth remains which it saying that the crown has fully consumed Magolor. You can even Magolor cry out for help during phase 2. The cherry on top of all this is that it's a reference where there was originally going to be a bad ending if you didn't get all of the energy spheres. I swear, the Kirby devs are on a different tier.
Forgotten Land may be my favorite Kirby game, but Magolor will always be my favorite Kirby boss. Under My Control and C-R-O-W-N-E-D just go too hard, man.
Youre not asking to much, youre just missreading Void didnt become evil, was born from evil just like Kirby was born from good, whatever created the both is the same, born again and again depending on what emontions it finds, "ending" Void doesnt end its existence, it just make it be born anew, because Kirby was near, it felt the type of emotions that form Kirby
The thing that really makes Magalor's boss fight so special is that it just keeps getting better and better as time goes on. Even years later with new lore implications and the Master Crown boss fight (effectively a sequel to Magalor's own fight), they just keep making it better.
Kirby final bosses don't just go hard: going hard would imply they weren't already firing on all cylinders and had to be cranked up to 11. Most of the best bosses in all of Kirby are final bosses for DAMN good reason. One honorable mention I'd have said was the Master Crown from Return to Dream Land Deluxe's Magolor Epilogue; to see the Master Crown as it truly is, and knowing just WHAT this thing DOES to its wearers, is genuinely one of the most terrifying things in all of Kirby: it appearing as part of Void's attack arsenal in Star Allies? THAT is NO ACCIDENT! That is BLATANT! The Master Crown was borne of the VOID ITSELF! Those who seek power, acquire that power, and become a slave to the chaos of all creation that portends destruction! O.O Fun fact about Drawcia Soul and Chaos Elfilis, btw: they are the ONLY TWO SOUL BOSSES that are considered CANON by the games they appear in! It's funny you mention Fecto Elfilis' last ditch effort was to throw Pop Star at Kirby to kill him: as many people have pointed out, it did that because it wanted to kill Kirby in particular, and it sought to do so in the most personal way possible. Heck, it allowed itself to be absorbed by Morpho Knight in order to force Kirby to fight it, weaken it, so that Soul Forgo could absorb Morpho Knight's power to revive as Chaos Elfilis; yeah, that moment its eyes widened when the butterfly landed on it? That wasn't fear flashing before its eyes, that was pure unadulterated BRILLIANCE; Fecto Forgo is shown to be psychic, it 100% sensed Morpho Knight's power and WANTED that...just so it could END Kirby with the CHAOS of CREATION! I gush, but...I mean...I have my reasons, obviously. At least he came 2nd to the TRUE king of Kirby bosses. "How it all began...and how it will begin...again..." Yeah yeah, I know, different franchise, but hey...whaddayagonnado? ;)
I perfectly understand your reasoning for your placement of Void Termina on the list, but goddammit, that fight still captures my heart and mind like no other. The Void fight in Soul Melter EX is something else man. Every modern Kirby final boss is spectacular and fun in their own right, but Void stands out among them in my mind for the sense of wonder and awe it gives me. The amount of vastly different forms and attacks it can use in its boss fight (combined with the lore around how it reincarnates differently depending on the amount of positive and negative energy gathered) really makes it feel like it could do and be ANYTHING, from a star-devouring titan to your cheerful next-door neighbor (who just so happens to have ridiculous power). That is amazing, and it has a lot of potential for future Kirby games as well (imagine a game where you think you're playing as Kirby for most of the game, but then it turns out you were a positive incarnation of Void the entire time. The fanbase would go NUTS). Regardless, I'm happy that Magolor got the #1 spot on this list. Seeing his boss fight in UA-cam videos is what sparked my interest in trying Kirby to begin with, so thanks Magolor, you conniving, trolling, yet somehow endearing bastard.
I'm just glad we got an Epic Yarn mention at all. That was my first entry into the series, and I know it wasn't loved for any number of reasons (Wii title, major aesthetic change, no health, no copy abilities...) but I'm still glad to see some parts of it recognized.
"Another 'You are your own worst enemy' allegory." He says as if underplaying that Void Termina's existence basically reveals that Kirby has been a God this whole time. I honestly would've put Void higher. The atmosphere, the lore, and ESPECIALLY the music (*Cough* Green Greens) make it possibly my favorite boss in the entire franchise. I do agree with Elfi's spot in second, though, if I had to choose... Mostly due to an inside joke concerning the semi-truck, though. XD
it's honestly impressive how Kirby can go from super cute to eldritch horror, in the blink of an eye. i guess what they say is true; "the more light you shine on something, the greater it's shadow becomes."
You throw a planet at me? I hit you with a TRUCK! Kirby is still one of my favorite franchises, and the bosses are definitely one of the reasons. Looking forward to more kirby chaos this month.
Fecto elfilis because in his Chaos soul is just has echo embedded in his very core....it makes me sad because they used him as tool or a thing to look at (i mean Fecto did try to kill the humans). I just think all those years stuck in that container must have been traumatic and that should havd cause him to split....he had a bigger reason to destroy us in the end. Damn Fecto Elfilis Lore is a tricky tragedy. It make me understand why he was willing to collide popstar with the forgotten world. Sorry for the writing.
Hey! Just a random idea I'm throwing out there for a potential "Kirby" countdown in the future. Bosses in other games that have Kirby's powers. You might not think there's much at first, but holy do the floodgates open when you research into it. A certain boss in a touhou fighting game also comes to mind. See? If touhou got its hand on it of all things, you know there's a lot hidden out there.
Not gonna lie, but I'm surprised that King Dedede nor Meta Knight didn't make it into the Top 10. (Mentioning Dedede in the Honorable Mentions doesn't count.) They've been Kirby's rivals pretty much since day one, with each of their boss battles test Kirby with his skills. That being said however, I am glad that the final bosses of Planet Robobot, Forgotten Land, and Return to Dreamland made it to the Top 3.
Just so you know, Sectonia didn’t transform into her wasp form. The mirror turned her into a parasite that possessed multiple hosts that she fed off of in an effort to achieve maximum beauty. This was confirmed by Sectonia Soul’s pause description as well as a Miiverse post by the creators.
I would also mention Planet Robobot's emotional final scene, as part of discussing its final boss. As well as the fact that Triple Deluxe's literally decapitates herself as a last ditch effort.
Fun fact, Elfilis' boss music mentions the Roche Limit, which is how close two celestial bodies, like planets, can get to each other without the one with greater gravity *tearing the other apart*.
I know it might be weird to say, but if Magalor could redeem himself by destroying the Master Crown’s true form.. perhaps Marx, Susie and Taranza could redeem themselves somehow! If they remake Triple Deluxe and Robobot, there might be hope for Haltmann & Sectonia to be free from Dark Matter’s influence! Plus, it would be great to have those boss themes from Star Allies' Guest Star Go play during the True Arena’s final opponents!
KIRBY MONTH?!! LETS GOOOO! Kirby is my FAVORITE Nintendo series! Also, let’s just take a moment to appreciate the fact that it’s been normalized for Kirby to fight an eldritch horror once per game
I just got an idea for a call of Cthulhu campaign. The party is attempting to prevent a colt from summoning the great devour with small hints, Easter eggs, and references strewn throughout. It, placed delicately and separately to prevent them from putting it together until they proceed to fail at stopping the final ritual, which summons the great devourer: Kirby .
You know after all the eldritch abominations Kirby's face people sometimes forgets that hes fought all those things and hes still a baby! Like star child equivalent of an infant! 😂
If you think about it, Star Allies was the FNaF 6 of the Kirby series. They each tied up almost all of the loose ends in the two series in one fell swoop. Kirby with its climax, and FNaF 6 in two cutscenes, two minigames, and a hidden image.
Star Dream's fight in The True Arena played me for a fool. It launched shockwaves at me after its defeat. I just sat there with Stone, waiting for it to end, but he one-shot me...
Miracle matter is such an underrated boss, its gimmick is both fun and very challenging, I love its design and it has an amazing boss theme, I just wish there were more lore about it cause like, I kinda just shows up, dies and we never hear of it ever again
I really love Galacta Knight's inclusion to the franchise because there's still so much mystery surrounding him. The fact that he's a warrior like Meta Knight except he has an angel aesthetic compared to Meta's demon aesthetic, he's pink exactly like Kirby, and he was sealed away because of his power just makes him an enigma worth discussion. Side note, the Planet Robobot fight is my favorite just because the moment he gets released, he immediately slashes Star Dream in one hit like an uber badass.
There's also the fact that every True Final Boss ever since Magalor has had a variation of C-R-O-W-N-E-D. You know, Magalor Soul's battle theme? Yeah, that one.
Kind of surprised Dark Matter didn't get an honorable mention. I remember Kirby's Dream Land 2 being the first game where the stakes were a lot higher than just DeDeDe being a big jerk.
Star Dream attacks : "5. 4. 3. 2. 1. GO!!! FATAL ERROR." Star Dream Soul OS description : "I wanted to see HER one last time. How foolish... I should have known no machine could ever make this wish come true."
One of the best things about Kirby games is the boss battles and boy, there were a lot of great ones. I can't deny the fact that Magolor is truly the best boss.
My favorite part of the Fecto fight was the inversion of the isekai stereotype. People crack jokes about how many isekai are started by someone getting hit with a truck. Kirby ends his otherworldly adventure by hitting *somebody else* with a truck.
It's poetic!
it doesn't end the fight with any ramdom truck, it end the fight with optimus Prime itself ! it is litterally the prime of boss finisher...
It's also fitting that the Mouthful Mode he uses to finish it is essentially just a bigger version of his very first one
Fecto gets isekai’d
Come on, Kirby! Let's send Fecto Elfilis to another world!
He only got an honourable mention, but what I love about Morpho Knight is the fact he reverses every classic Grim Reaper trope ever and is still terrifying.
Also, I love how it's narratively incorporated in to the music piece, where the leitmotif only kicks in once the last of the pillars, and by extension the last shreds of Haltman's soul, are destroyed, almost as if it's saying "ACTIVATING SEQUENCE! READY! GO!" :O
@@bluestreaker9242
It’s weird Josh wouldn’t say that when he showed a picture on “Vs Star Dream Soul OS” “Haltmans Soul is yet to be purged”.
You know something that’s really scary? Kirby has dealt with eldritch nightmares as an *Infant.*

"Mutant Elf Goddess" is probably the most inaccurate description of Elfilis I've ever seen. I love it.
Kracko is in every Kirby game imaginable, but he is only a subboss. Of course, Kracko EX is a beast.
Oh God...Dark Meta Knight and Magolor are already OP as shit. Don't give them ideas! XD
I absolutely LOVED his fight… all 3 of them.

I wasn't sure if you already knew this, so I was just making sure,
great video by the way!

@@C_Arson Maybe they felt it would be too much of a retread? What we got feels fresher than that.
Agreed, He's my second most desired Kirby character for smash. Only behind Magolor himself

I love Triple D, the goo version of King Dedede, in Planet Robotet.
Kirby, he's cute, squishy, and a destroyer of the Eldritch
Shoutout to Count Shaman, that intro is fire.
👌
Nintendo is always like: "So, shall we make the Kirby final boss this time a god, or god-like?"
Youre not asking to much, youre just missreading
Void didnt become evil, was born from evil just like Kirby was born from good, whatever created the both is the same, born again and again depending on what emontions it finds, "ending" Void doesnt end its existence, it just make it be born anew, because Kirby was near, it felt the type of emotions that form Kirby
Fun fact about Drawcia Soul and Chaos Elfilis, btw: they are the ONLY TWO SOUL BOSSES that are considered CANON by the games they appear in!
Gotta love when a Kirby game just straight up pulls a Terraria with their own Wall of Flesh
I'm really excited to see shadow the hedgehog get killed by Optimus prime on this list.
(If you get the joke well done)
What joke?
What joke?
Fecto Elfilis joke.
XD
It wasn't underplaying, as it is just a joke. Hell that is the exact reason Void is as interesting as it is to begin with.
You know fecto goes hard when it’s own main theme references the Roche limit
it's honestly impressive how Kirby can go from super cute to eldritch horror, in the blink of an eye. i guess what they say is true; "the more light you shine on something, the greater it's shadow becomes."
29:14 I didn’t know they added another part to the fight in the remake, THAT’S AMAZING
You throw a planet at me? I hit you with a TRUCK! Kirby is still one of my favorite franchises, and the bosses are definitely one of the reasons. Looking forward to more kirby chaos this month.
I hope the next Kirby Countdown is the 10 best levels in the Kirby franchises.
Thankyou for reminding me of the 4Kids intro. I had to instictively sing the whole thing before I could finish the video.
I’m pretty sure Drawcia soul was actually the very first soul boss in the series.
The adorable pink star warrior countdowns during my Birthday month
I'll consider this a month long birthday present, so.......... Thank you Josh
The "giant laser counter" was a nice touch for this. Kirby is very much inspired by Anime so you know there's gotta be some of those.
If anything, I give a special shout out to the battle with Dedede in Forgotten Land. Like holy moly that fight actually shocked me! Both times!
Nice of you to include Kirby Robobot on your list. That game is criminally underrated!
Magolor Soul, 02 and Galacta Knight have to be on here!
Kirby, Kirby, Kirby! That’s the name you should know!
I always love it when people see Kirby for what it is, a horror game in cute colors
29:15-Chuggaconroy (and by extension me): "THERE'S ANOTHER PHASE?!"
KIRBY MONTH?!! LETS GOOOO! Kirby is my FAVORITE Nintendo series! Also, let’s just take a moment to appreciate the fact that it’s been normalized for Kirby to fight an eldritch horror once per game
29:16 Gotta say, I didn’t think removing the beady eyes would make it _that_ much more menacing.
22:55 the fear in his voice XD
22:38 A question I ask everytime I play Kirby. It's just routine to kill eldritch abominations at this point.
Seeing Squashini on this list makes me feel validated cause he was my favorite boss in Epic Yarn
Haven’t managed to be early to one of your lists in years, I’m so happy to be here!
10:00 Kirby has fought so many eldritch horrors that the games are basically kid friendly Dark Souls at this point XD
