- Whoever said there are no such things as dumb questions never worked at Disney! Disney cast members get asked a LOT of dumb questions. So many of them in fact that they can't all fit into one video. So here's more from other cast members and my reactions and input on them.
A behind the scenes look at what a former worker at Disney World, Silver Dollar City, and Busch Gardens Florida experienced in his time working at the parks. From driving large safari trucks around live wild animals while cracking one silly joke after another, to spending 5 years as a #PhotoPass photographer at #WaltDisneyWorld and seeing and experiencing all sorts of things, to being a conductor and #trainrobber on the famous Frisco Silver Dollar Line at #SilverDollarCity. With 10 years of working in the parks, there's lots of stories to tell. Here is some of them...

For the Animals Kingdom spinning into Magic Kingdom story: Either that woman's friends was genuinely messing with her, or they were weirdos whom escaped whatever dimension they live in and somehow ended up in our reality and have no genuine idea what they are doing here.
Realizing we need shirts that say Dome (pun intended) Disney Questions- or Disney is not Universal. Or SeaWorld. Or Busch Gardens- Confessions of a theme park worker
One day, I was making my rounds of the area when I noticed this family looking super confused and looking everywhere for possible answers. I go up to them and say "Hello and good morning friends, are you by any chance looking for a place in particular?". They turn to me and says "Yes...where is the Castle?". This went down at Disney Springs...THE SHOPPING AND DINING DISTRICT. I inform them they were at Disney Springs, not a park. Then they asked how to get to the parks. I kindly ask them "Do you have park admission?". Blank stares. I ask them again "Are you staying at one of our resorts or good neighbor hotels?". Blank stares. I then said "You know what, guest relations can help you sort all of that out, just go down here and you will be there".
My guess is that they thought that by staying at a hotel either on property or a good neighbor hotel they had instant access to the parks which is NOT how it works at all. I remember I saw that family off and went "Godspeed friends...you will need it".
"When this becomes Magic Kingdom, where do I need to stand?"
"I'm sorry, that only happens in the Silent Hill theme park." 😁😆
We live in Orlando and we go to Universal Orlando about weekly. My dad's wife still asks if we had fun this week at Disney. Yes, we've explained they're not the same. Yes, she has acknowledged that it's wrong. She still does it out of habit. Nowadays she starts to correct herself so it's finally sinking in, but yeah. Still.
Listening to the Universal cast member I started thinking.
Uber drivers might be able to make a steady income driving people in Disney hotels to Universal/Sea World. Or vice versa.
I wonder how many people just do those routes and earn a daily income from it
O M goodness, this made me laugh so much!! I'm a passholder to both parks, and a TM for universal. I love this channel! People are so uninformed!
I like to do a switcheroo which may make me come off as a nimnul, but it is intentional. I hate Star Wars, but am an avid Trekker. So when I am at Galaxy’s Edge I ask for Captain Kirk meet and greets, and other Star Trek related things.
The best question of the lot was the one about when the Animal Kingdom transforms into Magic Kingdom, lol. The answer should be "Yea go outside to any buss saying Magic Kingdom. Once in there you will be in the right spot for the transformation to happen and when you get out it will be done. It might take a while thou."
I can understand preserving the magic but for any kid and adult used to seeing theathre shows and who knows its actors portraying any characters you see on the stage those questions are not so dumb. I always love and gives thoughts to those hard working actors behind the costumes when seeing shows and theathres and not knowing whom I meet in those costumes and thus not being able to give them the credits they owe from me was the hardest part of my park visits. J.
I work in a store and I've had similar experiences. Like people who think there in a different store.

Over Christmas I was visiting family who just went to Universal. They thought Disney owned it, so I've seen this first hand. Helped the CMs out and told them it's two different companies!

Hello thanks for another great video I could relate to some of those. I never got asked about FOP there or the rain but I got asked about a ride at universal too. I remember I got asked if I could watch this baby to when I was working stroller parking in Tomorrowland by a parent and when I told her I legally can not it caused her to cause a ruckus. She literally called her husband on the phone who was on a ride and complained about me sayin he had to come back because I could not legally watch her child. Then she said she would throw her garbage on the floor because she knew I would call custodial to clean it up because it was my job and I told her please don’t but she did it anyway. Luckily when she knew I would possibly get her kicked out for making a ruckus she picked up her trash and then went away with her child luckily to go meet back up with her husband and hopefully use the bathroom after that. 😂

Is there a third party company that exists to shuttle guests from Disney to universal and seaworld etc.? I've never been to Orlando, but I think it would be a really interesting concept
uber and lyft. :-) Otherwise no.
Yea there is a bus that goes from TTC to down town Orlando and other places I think but you have to pay for it though.
Yes, it's the public bus transit system. but it doesn't connect to any of the resorts or the parks. so trying to actually make it work to get to Universal or Sea World is going to be a chore.
I wonder if universal employees get the question how do I get to Star Wars

OOps making a Mistake Walt died 1966 7:18 not like you mistakenly said with 1961 in the Video he passed shortly before they could finish the Jungle Book that was released than in 1967 Walt died in December before that unfortunately. 😋😁😪😥

At 13:55 I understand her giving a disclaimer. Disney has fired SO many people just at my location, because guests go out of their way to get CMs fired. The company lets it happen because “the guests are always right”🙄🙃 It’s gotten bad.
People will literally call and make false reports just to cause trouble and be mean😢
Or to get something free because they can. It’s frustrating. Especially in the past year!!

One thing though, please have patience for people who are at Disney World for the first time and ask if they can walk to another one of the parks. If all you've been to is Disneyland, you have no idea how big is the animal that is Disney World. Yes it's possible to research anything and talk to anyone (everyone knows someone who knows someone who has been to Disney World) but until you have been there, you have no idea how big Disney World is.

Although the huge parking lots at the park entrances, and how they are all designed should be give aways to how far apart things are. As well as the separate busses to each.
but I also know all to well how people turn the thinkers off when they go on vacation and may not even notice such things.
