I do some serious investigative reporting in today's video :) Thumbs up for Mr. Connoisseur's
"Klingon" comment! For more, visit my corresponding blogpost at dailyconnoisseur.blogspot.com/2018/10/non-surgical-beauty-hacks-tummy.html I hope you enjoyed today's video. Please let me know if there are any other beauty or style hacks you'd like me to investigate. Love, Jennifer

the Daily Connoisseur fun video but when you zoomed in on your face I saw a yellow spot on your eye that concerned me, hope you have this checked if you haven't already. I have eye problems, I tried to dismiss them but it grew worse until I had real issues so I'm being a mother hen and mentioning my concern to you xo

Jennifer you solved a problem that has been bothering me for years! I have never understood how I always got tiny holes on my tank tops and tees down by my belly button. It had never occurred to me that it was the friction from the jeans tab. Thank you for your lovely channel. I have been a follower of yours since 2012 and love your honesty and inspired living. God bless!

Jennifer, I likely would have never learned of this belt on my own. It really solves a problem, and given your recommendation, I ordered one. Ingenious! And on those hallelujah days when pants fits loose, it snugs them in without the added bulk of a buckle, yes. I admire and appreciate your kind, thoughtful spirit and intelligence.

I love your books, blog and vlogs. I hope this doesn’t come across as an attack, because I really admire you. Wouldn’t it be a joy, however, and wouldn’t it be chic, even, not to buy into or promote the American obsession with looking youthful? At 55, I’ve been ready to “adult” for decades. At a special event, I want to look like me! Not a former version of myself, as if that’s more valuable. I feel like we’re teaching our kids that the God-given aging process is something to dread. I hope I don’t sound sanctimonious, because I freely admit that I’ve tried to color my hair, etc, when the aging process first began. I resisted. But now? I feel like a wisdom is descending that makes me looove my laugh lines and sparkly blonde & gray & white strands. Uniform color now looks fake to me. Anyway, love your content, almost 100% of the time! Thank you for being a voice of reason and dignity in this world.

Courtney Cox Hi Courtney I totally understand how you feel. I recently turned 49 and I'm getting
tired of feeling like i have to beat the clock and be a more beautiful version of me. I'm so sick of everyone trying to erase wrinkles and whiting their teeth to a stark white color and let's not forget about the obsession to be as thin and toned as can be and the sleek straight hair that seems to be all over the place. You know what I have naturally curley hair and I have been straightening it daily for years.
Recently I've embraced my curley locks and I feel free and fierce!!

Jennifer, your tummy looks amazing!!!! Don’t apologize for it. I can’t believe you just had a baby and can get those jeans on. Be proud! You really look great.

Hi Jennifer, I used a silicone chest pad for a while (not the brand you used) and it worked really well but after a week or so my skin started to itch and I developed a rash. I just put some retinol serum on it now and that works pretty well. I’m not wrinkly but my décolleté ends up catching the sun every year and the skin has become damaged.

That's where the holes in my shirts come from?!?! That drives me nuts and I never knew what caused them! THANK YOU, you seriously solved one of life's mysteries for me and I will totally look into that belt! 🤗

I know exactly what you mean about the tab on my jeans poking out! That drives me crazy and I'm so grateful that you have a solution for us! It would be interesting to see how the pads work on someone who actually needs them! :) I like that they are organic and reusable. Thanks Jennifer!

As a seamstress I think I could make a belt like that - I'm going to give it a try, because that's one thing that really puts me off jeans, the sticky out bit on the band!! I love those lace t-shirts, I'm still on the lookout for some here in Ireland!!

Jennifer!!! When you REALLY get wrinkles 😁 Juviderm really really works and lasts me almost 2 years. How ironic that today you addressed this subject! I have an appointment to get mine today! I am 66 and have made up my mind to get whatever my face needs done as it needs it. Just like you would paint or repair your house or car as they need it. Your body is much more important than anything else I believe. I know that I can't look 20 or 30 years younger, but I DO want to be as beautiful as I can be for my age because it makes me feel better about myself AND other people do have to look at me!!! 😊. You are young and beautiful so ENJOY it!!!!

Oh my gosh..... so that's why I get those little holes in the bottom of my shirts!!! The stupid tab on my Jean's!....... also do they make the wrinkle pads in body size?

Oh my gosh, I almost dropped my curling iron when you started talking about the denim "belly button" effect! I just changed tops because of that very reason! I'm not sure that mask is worth it though! I think by the time the imprint left behind disappears, my wrinkles would just pop back out too. And the amount of time spent having to hide while I wore it would definitely make life less fun. I'll just stick to wearing bangs, LOL!

    • @TheDailyConnoisseur

You will love the belt then! Bangs are an excellent non-surgical beauty hack :)

I've been meaning to try the chest silicone pad because I have scar tissue there from burns as a baby so that area will age much faster on me and as an hourglass that's an area I want to look after if I can.

Great ideas! I've tried to wear side zip pants for years to avoid that annoying bulge. It's amazing that more people don't talk about it, so thank you for bringing this up! I will definitely keep the Kami pad in mind. I tried using Frownies a few months ago, but realized they wouldn't do any good yet as I'm not quite 30 yet. 😅 I think the Kami pad will be on my shopping list in a few years! Thank you for doing all these fascinating videos for all the ladies out there! You're kind of like the big sister or aunt I always wish I had. ♥️ I really look up to you.

Love side zips! I haven't seen them in years! I used to get them at limited but they weren't denim. Loved how slimming they were! Thanks for the memories! I wear my wrinkles and grey like a badge of honor. They're chic, right? We've earned every single one. They all have a story.

You look like you’re back to your pre baby body already! Are you just doing your rebounder exercises for workout still? I just recently got a rebounder and really feel like I’m not exercising at all while I’m on it which makes me skeptical of results.

    • @TheDailyConnoisseur
      @TheDailyConnoisseur  6 років тому +2

Thanks Krystina! I haven't started the rebounder yet. I plan to begin in November after I've fully healed from the birth. I'm just walking right now.

Cool! Love the belt. I hate getting holes in my shirts from my jeans button. Do the pads have anything on them like oils? Im wondering if they’re safe for pregnancy. My chest grew 4 times it’s normal size and sleeping on my side too is a recipe for disaster. Lol

I couldn't help but think of the Karate Kid when you put the forehead thing on. My husband would tease me relentlessly . Lol. He already teases me when he catches me in a face mask. It seems like a good idea though. I would probably do it if I was single.
