@@geraldcaine either you've never smelled the real thing or got a bad batch. I've went through three bottles. Also did you spray it and let it sit? Or just spray out of the box and didn't like it? Sometimes the bottles need to macerate for a bit.
@@cknorris3644 bro I’m 41. The OG Candies was my favorite and signature scent for years. I even bought a damn 50 ml bottle off eBay for like $50 back in like 2012. I was excited when I found the Dua clone, but immediately disappointed when I smelled it on test spray and even more so off my skin. Almost no sweet fruity smell on either and was over powered by a more earthy moss smell. It smelled a little better on my son….. but easily able to tell the difference between the original. To me… not even close enough to be called a clone… more so a “take” but not close enough to the original that I would ever buy another bottle.
Ambercrombie and fitch fierce icon was the closest I could find to candies. ...but they discontinued that too and now it's even harder to find than candies😢
Just curious...who exactly IS your son?..is he ANOTHER fragrance reviewer or have a channel as well?..if so would you happen to have a link to his channel or channel name by chance?..Happy Holidays and Happy New Year guys...thats exactly what Ash from Gentscents said about this SAME exact scent comparison when compared to the vintage Candies is that all its really missing is that watermelon note..nowadays I typically tend to just go for Kenneth Cole Reaction if I get the urge and want to get that whole fresh and clean "🍉 watermelon"vibe lol..saves a LOT of money compared to what there RESELLING even the SMALL itty bitty TRIAL sized bottles of the Vintage Candies for lmfao..I searched for this one the other day on eBay an just a small 5ml travel size Is like 50 bucks an some change.. preposterous!!!lol..great scent though 👍
Candies was my signature scent back in the day. I tried the DUA version and then went back and bought 2 more bottles. Spot on to the OG.
I did the same, on my skin after the sweetness goes away it gets an earthy mature smell, not in a bad way.
I did not like my Dua Candies clone at all.

I don’t think they smell similar. If you smell candies u know it’s candies same with millesime u know it’s creed.
