    LYRICS:
    Despair burning down the future
Dreams easily blown like a sand
Fears dragging me down to nightmare
Everything I see is fake and doubt
As I'm left alone by myself
Now, it's getting so harder to breathe
    Piercing smell of twisted poison
And now I am a Marionette
    Cry out
The darkness slowly spreading all over me
    Cry out
It tricks me, even starting to feel so good
    Was it even real?
    Beginning of the end
Lies don't make me feel anything
    Split past and foggy tomorrow
    Noise everywhere, hiding my voice
    I don't care who I am anymore
    Cry out
Can anybody tell me the meaning of life
    Cry out
It's seizing my mind and it turned me to rust
    Everywhere lost it's light
World is filled with crowd of controlled
    Was it even real?
    Beginning of the end
    Forever and ever emptiness
    I'll never and ever forget
Don't leave me, I'm dreaming in silence
I'm falling, I'm falling to the end
    Despair burning down the future
Dreams easily blown like a sand
Fears dragging me down to nightmare
And now I am a Marionette
    Cry out
The darkness slowly spreading all over me
    Cry out
It tricks me, even starting to feel so good
    Everywhere lost it's light
World is filled with crowd of controlled
    Was it even real?
    Beginning of the end

Wow! Here's another band I've been sleeping on. I loved this song. And the visual effects matched the music beautifully. Definitely going to check out more from this band. Take care gentlemen!

Beginning of the End is a very good song composed by Mao with lyrics by Asami. I believe that the lyrics relate to depression and despair caused by the pandemic. Based upon the release date of the EP First Utterance, on which this song is the first track, I believe that Asami saw early 2022 as the beginning of the end of the pandemic. Asami wrote all of the lyrics on the EP and, in my opinion, they are all related to the pandemic. The EP was released only a couple of weeks after Asami gave birth to her daughter so Asami was probably more than halfway through her pregnancy when she wrote the lyrics to all of the songs. The future of Lovebites was also still uncertain at the time. A lot going on for Asami when we were finally seeing light at the end of the pandemic tunnel.

This song is their first ever single from the EP "First Utterance" all the lyrics were from Asami and music by Mao on it.

Serious top tier quality in a sea of quality bands. Their album is aptly named “Second to None”. Their most fun tracks are also from their EP - Parallel World and Welcome to Heavenly Secret Base which I can only describe as Party Metal, which sort of aptly sums up a few of their songs really. I’m in love, they are a band that grows on you, but when they do they take serious root. Oh, and Narumi is a goddess, so that helps their cause!

Something that I forgot to mention in my other comment is that even though Asami did not write the lyrics for any songs on Second To None, which is Lonesome_Blue's debut album, there is a big Asami connection. Two women, nana hatori and Ayako Kawai, each wrote the lyrics on three songs. When Asami joined Lovebites and started writing lyrics, she was assisted by nana hatori with translation of her Japanese lyrics into English. Later, beginning with the Glory, Glory To The World EP, Asami started using Ayako Kawai who is a Japanese American from Maryland. Like Asami, her background is in R&B. She eventually decided to move to Tokyo to continue her music career but also to assist Japanese vocalists who sing in English. Being fluent in both English and Japanese, she can help both with English lyrics and English pronunciation. She was the perfect person to work with Asami who I think has improved greatly in her English since working with Ayako Kawai. Fun fact - Ayako Kawai is one of the three angels that sing at the end of the song Glory to the World (and can be seen in the video).

Your comments around the musical aspects were interesting. And the title/last line could mean: help is coming or death, as you mentioned. For me it could be the main theme of every day in depression. Kind of morning "prayer" Nothing good is coming. Not an end in sight, just the beginning of sth bad. It just carries on, and on, and on.

I’m rooting for Lonesome Blue. This was their first release, and is still my favorite. Some of the other stuff is too cheesy, and that’s saying a lot , I Love cheese! I hope that they start utilizing Narumi as composer. The other talents seem to be there. A comment here refers to live clips, I’m anxious to check them out. I’m a professional bass player, but I can’t think of anyone who could play this live on bass, doubtful Koga, Fami, almost certainly not Misa, Miho, Haraguchisan, Haru, etc. Or maybe I just suck worse than I like to admit. But I will be her biggest fan if this bassist keeps up with that flourish after the James Bond Mission Impossible Batman riff (love that you called it out, was my first impression too).

Excellent review. This track is a breath of fresh air compared to formulaic productions. The usual tension and release is not used rather the tension is maintained throughout the track compelling the listener to stay to the end.

Lyrics by Asami of Lovebites. Lonesome_Blue also happen to be labelmates with Lovebites on Victor which was formerly home to Gacharic Spin, who have since left Victor for Nippon Crown, Band-Maid's former label (or a least one of rhem). Narumi as you correctly pointed out was formerly a member of Destrose alongside Haruna and Miho, who would go on to co-found Lovebites even though Miho subsequently left the band and was in turn replaced by Fami.✌️❤️🤘🌏🦘
