  • Testing and replace turn signal flasher/relay on a Ford Ranger. Signals would work for about 20-30 seconds and then the lights would go solid. We test the flasher and replace.

Thank you very much for this. I was able to replace the flasher relay in my 2000 ranger using your video. This fixed my problem. God bless my friend.

I have the same problem but gets stuck in the off position. Not surprised though. Relays have a life expectancy due to the being mechanical electrical components

I have a 99 Ford Ranger. I have no turn signals at all. They don't illuminate on dash or make any clicking sound. The fuses are good and brake lights come on. In addition to this backup lights don't come on either. I have pulled the steering cover off didn't see any loose or damaged wires. Any ideas on what to check next?

I would get a wiring diagram and check and see if power is coming out of turn signal stalk and then work your way from there

I have an 04 Ranger and my left turn signal stay lit and the relay buzzes. The right one seems to work fine. My biggest problem is this. My relay is 6 pin. Every other relay offered for sale I see is only 5 pin. I've purchased 2 of the 5 pin and neither worked. Where can I find a damn 6 pin? I'm assuming the 6th pin is important. Or maybe it's a dummy pin on mine and only 5 pins are actually doing anything. Which makes no sense to me.
Or maybe a 5 pin would work, and something else is wrong. Anyone have any idea where to get a 6 pin flasher relay?
Also. My hazard lights work fine.
Would LOVE some feedback and thank you
