Is the camera on the rear window heated? For example, in Norway it often happens that the snow that falls is slightly wet and in the morning at in the morning it is very frosty, so there will be a lot of ice on the rear camera that cannot be removed manually. Did the manufacturer remedy this somehow?
Very sweet cars. Many on the road in Austin. Every owner i talked to loves their Polestars. Sleek, nimble, autonomous, fast. And next models even sweeter.

The audio is a bit of a mess here. Presenter is talking quickly, at a low volume level, and then background audio is being mixed in at a similar level. Most of this could have been handled in post.

Subjective opinion but no, not gorgeous. Expensive Chinese crap that’ll depreciate faster than the speed of light. Polestar cars are the equivalent of white goods. I’ll never be excited about the look of new microwave.

As long as battery is above 15% it will keep the interior nice and cozy. No dedicated mode tho
sorry but cameras don't always work. Ever heard of the sun? Or driving at night, or rain and other types of storm blocking the camera?
Ever heard of the fact that cameras aren’t always as bad as they are in a smartphone?
The voice is mixed with the background music making it very hard to follow, also speaking very fast herr and there.
Cars like this are good. But I can already tell that the depreciation levels will be too high
Playing this at 3/4 speed makes the guy sound normal and the music from 70s skin flick.

Not for van drivers 🤣 or older peopleo that learn faster to use eletric cars like Tesla! But maybe for youngesters that don't have a license and middle age that are obsessed with a particular brand from 3 in 3 years , for those will be difficult!
Since Polestar has been deemed worth 0 SEK by the banks and Volvo announcing that they will stop funding Polestar should you really buy one? Might not be around much longer.

Reversing out of my drive needs visibility out of the rear window and the rear side windows. Getting rid of the rear window would need an inward facing screen in the back so I can look over my shoulder and see behind and up and down the road without switching between looking out the back and in the rear view mirror.

I am almost happy it will be too late to be my current car replacement. the basic version is way to weak to justify the price, and the dual motor with an improved interior is way too expensive.

All SUV's are virtual clones of each other? They should price them by weight! The heaviest has the biggest battery but not range! But it does have the most internal room & crash survivablity! Come in RR Cullinan!

Not only that, it is less efficient than a Tesla, so charging speed in mi/hr is even worse.

Not sure how it can be an SUV when it sits closer to the ground and has lower roofline than a model 3.
Not going to bother Tesla much I don’t think. They are not pricing it to compete. They want a different market. But wouldn’t mind a bit of Teslas if they can get it.

it’s too expensive, Teslas sell because they’re relatively inexpensive. The Polestar 4 is a re-skinned Zeekr 001 but without the air suspension. So it’s not really luxury enough for the exorbitant price tag. I would not be surprised if Polestar are bankrupt within the next 18 months
The top spec is good value, all things considered. However the entry level car's 0-100 is 7.1secs ? For the same price you can buy a model Y performance. Its 0-100 in 3.7... They really need to drop the price on their entry level model or at least improve its 0-100 in the sub 5.5 secs range. Otherwise they really will not sell alot of PS4s.... and that will drag down its profit. They need to sell at least 20,000 units to start making profit. I really like this Polestar and I will get one but I am worried.

It’s a nice car and I own a polestar 2. But I also own a Taycan and a Tesla. There is nothing comparable to that Porsche and the Tesla is in its own lane

It´s a crossover.I´m not interested. I drove the Polestar 2 and I didn´t like it. It´s too high. The Polestar 5 is the one that looks it´s going to be a saloon. I´ll better wait for the Polestar 5.

Just as much range (if not more) as a comparable (Model Y) Tesla, better build quality, faster, better handling and ride quality, better interior materials, Google Automotive UI (which many may prefer over Tesla UI), far more unique and distinctive, and very arguably a better exterior and interior design. Yea, you’re right, there’s no argument Polestar is better 😂

Electric is BS! Listen to TOYOTA and get back to the drawing board. Regular Lithium tech is already dated.
Toyota made the mistake of waiting too long. Now they realise and try to convince people of that cause their most value as a brand is the reliability of their cars.
Electric is the future and Toyota will be eaten by Chinese brands and Tesla and they know an electric car doesn't have the complexity on what they excel. Hard times will come for Toyota soon.
Brave buying an EV where long warranty for the battery is vital from a company at risk of going bankrupt…….

Right. With one of the biggest chinese car companies, Geely, behind this and Volvo etc. No, they're probably not going bankrupt I'd say. Also, just lease EVs. No issies with whatever happens after, be it technological advancement or this fear of dead batteries (which usually doesn't even happen .. they lose capacity).
@@stewartbalmer1515 no, it’s all over the internet, just Google it. Just a risk people should be aware of when spending a lot of their money on a new EV. Volvo who owns Polestar is in turn owned by Geely and we have heard how the Chinese economy is suffering at the moment and needs to find cash and stop spending. I personally think Polestar is unlikely to go bankrupt but as the sums of money buying a luxury EV are so big I wouldn’t choose a polestar at the moment if I was buying own of these privately as depreciation is already pretty savage even without this risk happening.

I actually like the speed, fast, precise and to the point.
EVs are for the non-scientific and those who are easily conned as they're very far from clean with their manufacture and subsequent running including particulates from tyre wear.
Tyre wear? Clearly you haven’t done your research for someone so “scientific”. And EVs already are greener than ICE vehicles over their respective lifespans. Keep in mind, this is the first decade of significant EV adoption. With greener manufacturing and powering of grids, this gap will continue to increase. The irony is that you’ve been conned by the oil special-interests into thinking I e vehicles will continue. Get with it, ICE are on their way out.
Long range single motor does 0-60 6.9 seconds, slower than a Kia Forte GT. Let that sink in. Embarrassing.

Polestar is a dead man walking. Its share price has collapsed. The company's value has been marked down to ZERO. You'd be insane to buy one now. Do you think spare parts are ever going to be available? Or a replacement battery in a few years time? If you got one for free it would be more trouble than it was worth.
