Love 64 audio. One of the few high end IEM manufacturers that also prioritize comfort in addition to sound. Too many flagship chifi shells only fit large ears.
One thing I like about 64 Audio is that when they launch a product, they stand behind it and it remains in their lineup for years. It's not like other companies, that launch a product, do the hype rounds and a year or two later discontinue the product or come out w/ a version 2 of the iem. I'd rather see a great product launched, become a staple, remain a staple and have incremental upgrades through time, but not every year or two after launch.
That was super interesting ! Vlad is so passionate I would love to talk with him a couple of hours ! Thanks for this video. I’m not audiophile enough to justify this level of IEM yet, but if I get there, I’ll remember Studio 64.
I loved 64 Audio. I using A6t, A12t, A18s. Sound is really really great and fitting is so comfortable. If you thinking buy CIEM, 64 Audio is your best and best option. Every unique function made 64 audio CIEM more and more special.
I just ordered the A4S and can't wait to try them when they arrive. I currently work part-time as the back-up percussionist for an Elton John tribute band and the universal in ears I bought always kept falling out of my ears and made it frustrating to have to use them onstage, so I can't wait to have in ears that actually fit in my ears and stay there and have the sound I'm looking for to be my best onstage! More comments to come after my in ears arrive!
7:42 so Crinacle was right. his method of the first 5-15 seconds innitial impression is what matters (most). so, remember folks, brain burn-in forces your brain to follow orders 😉
But your brain doesn't easily reset from having heard your daily driver like everyday. So you're always comparing relatively to what you are currently adapted to. It's all relative.
great intake with em" precog. just a suggestion for em" to use more un tangle cables for their products, no need fancy like PW or something, the cema's is more fit than they are using now.
my 'poor' me purchased U4S (B-Stock) on sale last holiday season, and all i can say is HOLYGUACAMOLY hoping 64 audio will release much cheaper options in the future...
Cool video PreCog A very hand made product! Several great interviews within. Still pretty hard to justify the $ asked, but the diminishing returns comment might inspire some listening. That begs the question, what is the price performance sweet spot in their s & t lines? As an audiophile it would be nice to see how good you can make something for say $1k vs we should sell this for a lot more because it sounds like others $2k products… Great behind the scenes video! Thanks,🙏
I'm a Korean consumer who uses Forute Blanc. I love the sound of 64audio very much. But I'm using it worrying that my product might break down even if the 2 pin connector is loose n shakes or a lot of contact failure. I hope it will be a luxury brand with good after-service
Awesome video, great Precog questions, honest and reliable answers by the whole 64 Audio Team and love the editing. When are you planning to visit other IEM - Headphones factory? I can't stress enough how engaging and educational this videos are. HeadphoneShow will you marry me?
Vitaliy Gordeyev was the highlight for me. He said some things that a lot of people needed to hear in this hobby. This makes me want to look into their iems even more now.
Volur is a fabulous iem. First time a bass driver clearly takes a full step above the rest of the market. It does have a bit too much elevation between 200-400Hz at times for some genres, but it’s a very easy fix with EQ
First iems in my life that passed the test of 5-15 sec with flying colors were Softears Twilight. They still amaze me after 4 months of almost everyday use. Ive sold my beloved u12t after getting the Twilight. The reasons for that were: 1- smoother and more natural treble on the Twilight and the 2- DD driver for the low end. I really loved the u12t but the trebles were just bit too harsh to my ears.
Ja that one is quite fascinating information, looking at how a lot of audio reviewers like to have coffee while performing reviews. And I like a cup to stay awake.
I wish they had more variety in tuning and semi custom shell designs. All of their IEMs are kind of relaxed in the ear gain area. Their universal IEM shells just don't really work for me at all, the nozzle presses against the side of my ear canal and the shell presses against my crux helix and both get painful within an hour. For my ears all the included silicon tips either are too small to seal, or large enough to seal but the umbrella just collapses and folds over on itself and breaks the seal.
Ah yes $2000+ IEMs made of metal that's held together with literally nothing but like a .05mm thick ring of glue and not even in a way that protects the glue from skin oil or just twisting/pulling forces when handling the IEMs. I wonder how many pennies per unit that saves over using screws
I know this is headphones page and everyone here loves spending big bucks for iems. And they also love 64audio. But i tried quite a few 64 audio iems and they all sound meh at best. Very overpriced for what they ask, iems like 7th acoustics supernova beat the fudge out of them.
Have you considered that we all have different tastes, and they have a house sound? Meaning if you don't like their house sound you're probably not going to like their stuff. I don't have any of their stuff, but it's just your comment sounds rather focused on a dissing rather than informing, if you were saying you prefer 7th Acoustics sound to 64 Audio that would be different than saying it's meh. Someone else might find the sound signature you like not great to them, that doesn't mean it is not, it simply means it is not to their taste.
Too much sibilance. Not even have proper bores which is very important for controlling 6-8khz. U12t, u18t, u18s, volur and forte blanc, I've listened all of them. Totally disappointed. Don't waste your money guys.
I make my own custom iem buddy and I auditioned I think A12 or 18 during audio show in Poland and I was actually shocked that they sounded on par or worse than my 5 driver.
This may be my all-time favorite video you guys have cranked out. What a great job! Great questions, interactions, responses, and production.
Nice to hear someone on the "inside" talk about diminishing returns, and how their lower-end IEMs are 90% (or maybe more) of their TOTL. Refreshing.
More like this! Great interviewing and behind the scenes footage. This format is great
Owner of Tia Trio here, glad someone did this as I always wondered about their QC and such.
Weird flex but ok
Volur not satisfied with sound but it's good set someone else definitely would love it
Love 64 audio. One of the few high end IEM manufacturers that also prioritize comfort in addition to sound. Too many flagship chifi shells only fit large ears.
I'd say their shells are actually only comfortable in small ears. They're painful for my medium-large ears unless I use very specific tips.
GREAT VIDEO! It shows the amount of work and effort it takes to create an IEM.

Yeah you really appreciate when you spend big bucks on iem that breaks. Never had 64 iem that breaks
This is awesome, love this format! Behind the scenes, the interviews, superb!
Very interesting to get an inside look at all of the aspects of creating IEMs. Great video!

"Brain burn in" sounds painful 🤣 why would I set my head on fire 🤣

@@Alepap.Kinda , but if you hear something better, you instabtly know
such a cool insight into how they approach their design philosophy, great vid!
"Combination of science and art"... boy I wish more hobbyists would realize this!
Seems like an interesting place to work. I'd do it
Precogs like “can I live here 💯"
This was interesting, thanks guys.
!!! The day 64audio prints universals is the day the midrange market gets dominated. I can dream
Really good video!

We'd also like to see Simgot's production house. That company is also doing some great things in audio.
Lol no
Simgot is doing nothing new
They aren't doing anything new, they're doing it right. @@nwananka
@@Nick_in_the_6ix i agree.

The u4s is the most expensive iem I would personally buy. One of the best iems I have heard
I love my N8 customs, I would love to try a custom version of the Volür as well some day!
Great vid!
That's so cool i also noticed after you yawn i heard more bass and the vocals got reduced

Thanks Precogvision! These guys are the real deal.
Very cool. Now, I’d love to see you go to a cheap chifi factory!
By chance did they tell you how many times the cable could be plugged and unplugged in their testing?
Love 64 Audio! Their customer service went above and beyond when fedex lost my iems in the mail.
Finally i can see how legend brands operate
I love how their 3D Detailer has on Apple AirPods. 😂
Someone make her a pair of CIEMs!
Finally how are they made? I could see it! Only Talk Talk Talk!
Fascinating great video!! I will work for Volur or U18t 🤷♂️jus saying 😂
I always wanted to see why they’re so expensive. If they’re handmade and hand tuned it’s totally understandable. I wonder if Moondrop is the same
This is awesome! 😂
8:18 that is quite a 🌶 take...
The owner is very technically equipped!

64audio should release volur custom
Volur is a fabulous iem. First time a bass driver clearly takes a full step above the rest of the market.

Man Id love to intern there
Ignorance is bliss.
Does that mean the U4S is for stage use? That doesn't seem right.
Show us how the drivers are made next? :)
If I had my own company, I would hire Mr. Gordeyev in a second lol.

Hey folks.Would anyone be interesting in reviewing my 5 driver ?
If I wasn't a moron, I'd write them about wanting to be a part of this but yeah I won't make it lol
Excellent interview. I have 64 audio u4s.
Who knew coffee could be the enemy of good listening. Feels like the opposite. Hydrate your ears, fellas.
Ja that one is quite fascinating information, looking at how a lot of audio reviewers like to have coffee while performing reviews. And I like a cup to stay awake.
Having someone licking your ears, might be a good idea 😂💀
Seeing the employees at a headphone company use Apple Airpods is not a good sign 😂

Go with Noble Audio
Not in it for the money 😂 with their 4K earbuds 😂
Eating in the workshop!? 😑🤦🏻♂️
Stock cables on their mid priced IEMs are junk. I went with Noble Audio, just better quality overall imo
3:41 - that's a subwoofer
kudos to the airpods in the office, enlightened audiophile employees
Why are they making IEM's only for rich people, most expensive iem I got is 120 bucks lol
I have 220 dollar iems (7hz Timeless). Maybe I will try the Moondrop variations which is 500 dollars, and that’s the most i’m willing to pay for iems
because they won’t be able to compete in the budget range
precog heads to Washington State University after the interview
How expensive IEMs are made
Exactly the same way cheap IEMs are made. Just more expensive. 🙂
Did not know they were US??? made company
I am not here for the money...lol. We all are there for the money unless you already rich
It's funny how those who are not in it for the money somehow make the most money. #passion, amirite? 🙂
