The World Cup is for National teams,made up fro players taken from all the league clubs,the league described here is for club teams.

Each county has its own league pretty straight forward. Here in the USA we have our own leaves also MLB, NBA, NFL etc. pretty straight forward
You have to separate club teams from national teams (like the difference between an nba team like the lakers and the dream team…)
So this video is about club teams (not national teams)
The World Cup is a tournament that happens every 4 years where national teams compete (so the USA, Brazil, England, France… and so on)

The world cup is National teams, not club teams. Americans don't understand that because so many of their sports are competing only against other American club teams. They don't have real World Championships. The Football World Cup is competed for every four years and has nothing to do with club football. All of the football covered in this video is club teams playing within one country in Europe, except for the Champions League which covers all leagues in Europe. Try to forget American sport when you try to understand this video. And LISTEN to the narration; he does NOT say that each country has one team, they each have one LEAGUE! There are 14-20 teams in each league, dependig on the size of the country.
Thanks for clearing that up and yeah, you are spot on about the American teams. Thats probably why I was a little confused early on and also I think I misheard him a couple times too
The Wold Cup has NOTHING to do with club fooitball. It's for NATIONAL teams, something the US can't seem to understand. This video is about club football, as in each country in Europe separately, played every year whereas the world Cu is played every four years. What the narrator said was each country has it's own LEAGUE, not TEAM! Try to keep up!!! Each of the leagues has between 12 and 20 club teams playing in it.
Understood... However be more respectful. If you watched the whole video you would know I understood that eventually. I didn't know much about the sport before this particular video here. When you learn something completely new to you maybe you'll understand.
