I thought his canter was like a rocking horse your body just went with the flow. Divine. His trot is a dance statement after all that is part of his heritage. He looks so happy and is so enthusiastic to being ridden. I remember you wanted to do liberty and bought a horse just for you to enjoy being with because every thing else was so ho hum disciplined. You wanted some fun and learn new things. He looks exciting and effervescent. You can’t not be happy watching him. His vibrant persona is intoxicating. Share/don’t share until you’re ready. I imagine you just want to keep him to yourself for a little bit without having to share your unicorn and go right ahead and enjoy. Lucky you!
My PRE wore a ditch by the fence with his pacing when he first arrived from Spain. My friend said ‘don’t panic; he’ll figure life out’ and he did after a few weeks. Now he’s Mr Chill 😊 Good luck with Buski
He looks great and will settle in as he realizes he is home. I'm so glad you trimmed his forelock and main. It was beautiful but just way to much for a horse to deal with. As for his trot, he was born with it so people should no t criticize you for it. It's what makes him him. Glad you have him home now. I think he will be happier.

I’m so glad to see you and Buski finally together at home. The reason you bought him is so heartwarming to get back into the magical love for horses. A lot of riders can lose that calling in all the competition and worry that they don’t remember why they love being around horses so much. Warmbloods and Spanish horses are so different to ride! You two look great together, and as you two continue to get to know each other you might be really surprised at what you could do in the show pen! I loved the Spanish horses, and especially a particular Andalusian, that I was fortunate to ride for a while. They’re a blast!
Don’t let people ruin your time with buski, you are a amazing rider and you know that so have fun and ignore everyone who is being horrible or ‘A social media Trainer’.

Really happiness involves being able to tune out irrelevant opinions and while its good to be open to learning from inputs, a lot of stuff is either personal opinions we dont all really need to be on the same page on or resentment disguised as virtuous concern. You can see he's very tense and he still did his best to listen to you and never exploded. Genuinely happy to see him home with you. This setting will give him the opportunity to open up and relax. He's far less tense here with you in comparison to Spain.

He moves like a PRE. He's built very uphill, which is fine because that's what gives the breed their spectacular natural ability for collection. He also has that powerful PRE canter and really pushes himself off the ground with each stride. I know that you haven't bought him as a competition horse, I just want to comment on the strenghts I see in his paces.
Super beautiful and happy looking boy! With the heavy manes for looks with the mane on one side, it’s quite common to alternate the side the mane rests on; such as switching every week
I’m so happy that he’s home and I’m so sorry to hear that you didn’t want to post this, because of all the negativity. I think he couldn’t wish for a greater owner tbh ❤ you cutting his mane for more comfort, getting his own saddle, his own bridle and just all the space a stallion could ever wish for is the greatest thing there is. So please, be aware that you are gonna be the greatest owner for him. He might be a little tense now, but I think you guys will grow out to be the best and prettiest team 💕.
