I am SO glad he is going home with you, I don't love the methods they use in some parts of Spain, and I know you will treat him with the respect and kindness he and all horses deserve! You are so sweet with him, it makes my heart happy, I wish everyone would treat their horses like you treat yours, you are a really empathetic horse person, and I admire the heck out of that!
@@hoofgirl31 yea the noseband is waaay to low, they use cruel metal nosebands that are extremely painful, ect. I'm just happy he's in a much better place now

I agree with you there, but it doesn't mean she condones the training method or would ever use it herself.
Yes I agree. I lived in Spain for 13 years and rode for 10 in a Spamish yard some of those horses got so overworked poor things and so mistreated in that heat too... wasn't good conditions

What a sweet, beautiful Boi! Love his mane & tail... but the extra long forelock obstructing his vision is driving me flipping bonkers. 😆🤪 Seems like such a safety issue for both horse & rider. Congrats Erin! He looks like he was loved & treated very well. BTW: Most Spanish Pre horses usually only have their mane braided (plaited) less than halfway down, the remainder is loose. A much prettier look than the Fresian style full length braids. Day before a photo shoot would be fully braided & lightly sprayed with water to set the curls! PS: Hopefully things are starting to change for horses in Spain. 🙏🤞🙏🤞🙏 When Buyers refuse to buy from bad, abusive owners/trainers the word will spread! They need to ban the cruel, metal nose bands with spikes that hurt & scar their horses.
I really like the fact that he's not afraid of the lunging whip. He respects it, but he's not moving in a panicked way when it's laid across his back. That shows what his experiences with the whip are.
