The Pearl Sensitone Aluminum is the absolute best aluminum snare you can buy for less than $400, and it’s one of the best aluminum snares you can buy period.
I don’t know what I’m missing… how do you get it it that dry? Is it just mixing? When I tuned my drum to a similar range to medium tuning, the fundamental pitch of the batter head rings out for a very long time. It was hard to even match the pitch of the batter head here because it’s so short Im assuming there is no muffling, that wouldn’t make sense for a drum demo, and I know there is no internal muffler on the drum

What a fabulous drummer.
I have just bought this snare (in the UK). It’s one of the best aluminium snares I’ve ever played.
Pearl snare are so underrated !
pearl never disappoints
Fabulous playing on a killer snare.
This snare, in the medium tuning, sounds just as good to me as my 1968 Supraphonic. Wow.
Great demo. Awesome price point with this thing.
This sounds sooooo good
That's one great sounding snare drum, especially the low tunings. How are you guys miking it? That also sounds great.
Wonderful
How come such a shallow drum to have so much body? What do you prefer this size or the 6.5?
So what's the difference between "mirror steel" and sensitone steel? difference in quality? Does it taste almost the same?
I don’t recommend eating your snare drum.
@@RMHendrickson lol 😆

im gonna guess its in your resonant head that needs tweaked, or your snarewires themselves, batter head is a small part of the whole sound
try tuning your resonant head asshole tight and adjusting the top head to your flavor. IDK why but it works for aluminum and steel very well.
How do you guys mic these snare demos?
Baterista Top. Pearl Sensitone Too !
budget Lm400 copy great snare
I think its more of the acrolite copy and its 329 around there but doesnt soun d chrap at all, not that you were sayi g it does. But lm400 is a beast
