Good stuff. You are spot on with that activation value comment. The new Aetherwing is absolutely horrible but now with a beast runemark you can waste a triple for darting attack on him.
Another great update Dan! It's nice to see these Harrowdeep warbands joining Warcry and hopefully that means those in Nethermaze will follow soon. My 2 cents on no ally competitive play - I'm definitely with you on Kruleboyz being a defensive warband. Da Kunnin' Krew presents an interesting addition and really doubles down on defense. The lack of mobile options alongside fragile damage dealers have been noticeable. After observing or playing against the few pot-grot spam lists with some of your B/C 'Skynet' tiers the local playing group's opinion in Oz suggests they're not as problematic as we originally thought. Also, I'm not sure if I missed the response from GW to your email about the Killaboss on beastie being able to duck under walkways, regardless that has got to be the most awkward 'mobile' model to position on the Warcry tabletop 😆
GW never got back to me on the Gnashtoof issue. I've submitted a few other things to their official mailbox as well. Honestly I'm not 100% confident they even check it.
Thanks for that video. very informative as usual. I wont take a killaboss on gnashtoof. I played some games with because the stats are great, but massive base and the mounted rules for not being able to climb and going through doors are very big issues on a lot of boards, altough the stats on this one are pretty sweet
Slightly unrelated but worth a mention, Blackpowder is a mess of a push fit build - I wasn’t satisfied with the end product and probably won’t try him 😫 at least we get the Knife-Monkey (tm) finally. Congrats on 2K subs btw!
I've been finding that a lot with this new era of push fit. I can't be certain, but it feels like GW is replacing sculptors with 3D modelers, a sculptor (for gaming figures) designs a model to be broken down into parts, it's part of the process, they're familiar with the model building process (and create accordingly). 3D modelers seem to have a video game design perspective, they design a model to look cool, but very little effort or thought is put into slicing the model up (to put on a sprue) or how it is assembled, it feels as though many of the computer designed modelers have never actually assembled a model kit.
Thanks! Also to echo what the rustbelt blacksmith said, I've noticed a lot more monopose battleline lately, like Hobgrots and Blissbarbies. I know it's not pushfit but it seems like a similar movement.
@@thesaltyseagames Hobgrots are push fit. Blissbarb archers aren’t, honestly I feel like the past year has seen massive improvements in building plastic models. Older archers like the Blood Stalkers were hell to put together while the Blissbarb were comparatively easy. We do lose more of the freedom to pose them the way we want but also newer models have unique looks and poses either way.

Calthia has the same points and weapon profile than a Vanquisher Prime and the regular Vanquishers the same points and weapon profile than Gryph-hounds, so I the new Thundrstrike warband made the Vanquishers and Vigilors I assembled this week irrelevant...
Its pronounced DEEN-talos, if GW have gone for the sensible, Greek pronunciation. I'm assuming its from Δεινος (terrible/horrible, its also used in Dinosaur as the dino part) and Talos, the construct guardian of Hephestus. source: am greek and I like etymology :)
@@stormisuedonym4599 I dunno, it's technically not wrong, just adapted I guess. Dinosaur in Greek is Deen-O-sav-ross so you're avoiding some unusual for English sounds by making those changes to the pronunciation, makes it easier to integrate.

Lol it would be a funny power move if you were already winning.
"The 8 points is a Potgrot hotspot!" nearly died laughing, cheers Dan x
SBGL: "Oh, that's nice... No, no, I just got a better one, don't worry, but thanks all the same."
Lol classic 'dad who's impossible to shop for' energy.

Great video thanks, love adding these Underworld characters to warband
Thanks. Yeah they add a lot of fun to the game.

Who doesn't want a monkey that can wield a knife with its tail?!
Yeah I'm glad they made the cutiepie monkey good.

Yeah the gnashtoof is a pretty silly model to have in the game tbh.

I still think regular Vanquishers and the Vigilor Prime are good! But it's true regular Vigilors and the Vanq prime got a bit of a kicking here.
Calthia can use the Coordinated Strike too, can't she? Same Runemarks as Imperatant.
Yup, I got fooled by potatocam for a bit here.
Have they resolved Gikkit’s gang up ability allowing a big boy to activate rather than a minion?
I really like those e-zombos! What do you think of a list with the full Exiled Dead + Vargoyle + 3 grave guards?
I think it could work. A nice bit faster than the average SBG is a good thing.
The WarCry Ocean.
:)
Do you know how underworlds models will work in 2.0 yet?
What number White Dwarf issue is this?
477
Very disappointed with taros: calthia plus an aetherwing might have been a good addiction to every stormcast chamber
I was honestly shocked on the points for Shreek and Taros when I first read them.
No love for Chaos, much less Khorne, but a great video nonetheless - know thy enemy!
Still waiting for Chaos Demon specific underworlds crews.

So dinosaur being pronounced the way it is, is based on mispronunciation of Greek?
Thanks for the note! I was just floundering around out there.
