Thanks for the fast coverage from WD! Can't wait for your Destruction warbands breakdown. Curious to know which are the best fighters from Zarbag's Gitz to meld with The Looncourt.
Meant to get back to this, Destruction video now down and uploaded and the answer is all of them are viable and the fanatic with ball and chain is amazing while the netter is a cheaper version of the normal version.
Squig Vs Snark is probably also a decent comparison point - Snark gets the reaction, -2 wounds, +1 range and +1 normal damage (average +1 wounds on T4?) for +20 points
That does seem like a good deal. Losing the Beast mark also is good, although the Herder can be nice. I will say this warband definitely needs more Squigs. Three Cave Squigs would be 240 points...
@@optimalgamestate every goblin warband needs some form of squig! My immediate thoughts are that netters still feel like they'd be doing more than the basic two. The rest all have at least something interesting going on (or already "are" a valuable piece like the squig rider) They've got the wonky lance for a bit of mobility, so maybe if you wanted a "Looncourt plus" warband some sort of heavy hitter, perhaps thematically a troggoth, might be the thing that rounds them out... Although 3 more squigs is an interesting idea, makes it a bit more hord-ey
One of the White Dwarfs (June 2022) had rules for smaller battles (700pts). The key part was having everything arrive turn 1 since the warbands are smaller.
Hopefully not, all we have here is one White Dwarf. Fingers crossed we get a new Tome of Champions at some point to get us rules for stuff like the wolf riders.
@@optimalgamestate oh sorry I meant I was hoping the other rules were in this WD also but yeah hopefully we get the new ogroids, NM warbands, the new gitz and any other releases in a TOC!

Very cool! Love these models. Might be interesting to try a 750 pt game with these gitz...

@@optimalgamestate awesome thanks!!
Great video, but oof is this confirmation that we are literally only getting new UW rules and nothing for the new gitz models?
