Love seeing you again. Thyroid info was very interesting. I have a history and am extremely happy that your physician and you yourself kept on track to get you feeling better. All your stitching encourages me to get busy and I love them all!
Thank you for sharing about your medical issues, it is important to spread the word, and help others along the way. You look great and I hope you continue to feel better and stronger and get back to the things you love doing like pickle ball!! :). As always, your stitching is so inspirational, and you pick some wonderful patterns to stitch and finish. I love your display behind you, it looks great. Great to see another video from you and be well, that is the most important thing!
Please take care of yourself. I to have hypothyroidism but never experienced anything as you have and hopefully I never do. Love your channel and all your stitching. Hang in there it takes a good while to get your thyroid back in check...hugs
I understand your struggle with medicine after medicine. I was diagnosed with Crohns in September 2022. It took until January of this year to find a medicine that works. I pray you keep feeling better. Love seeing your stitching. You are an inspiration!
So sorry to hear about all the struggles you have been through this past months. Glad you are finally feeling better and I pray it continues to improve. Your cross stitches are so lovely. It is nice to see you back again.
You are not alone. There are those of us who struggle with severe symptoms. I have had huge issues with thyroid symptoms, as does my brother. Hashimoto's runs very heavily in my family with several family members having it. The symptoms have been so bad at times that they have been nearly debilitating for us. This is despite having levels that are in the "normal" range. It gets worse as you get older because the thyroid gets more damaged by the immune system. I am glad you have found a new med that is working for you and I hope your symptoms get resolved by it.
First i LOVE your hair! Your hutch looks great and you really inspire me Kristen to finish some of my stitching. All of your finishes and WIPS are sooooo cute! And your pile of shame😂😂😂😂 that prairie schooler tree on kudzu is wonderful!!!
We are blessed to have so much medical knowledge available. So glad you persevered and are finally feeling better. 🎉 Nice you are enjoying your craft again. Stitching is good for the soul. Great video.
Your stitching is beautiful as always! So glad to see you back! I also struggle with Hasimoto Disease. Mine came to the surface 7 years ago when my first baby was born. The struggle is real for sure. I went a year miserable trying to figure meds out. I am glad you are starting to feel better. Happy Stitching!
@@k8kreationskrafts267 so sorry you had to go through that too!! Seriously the worst thing I’ve ever been through. I’m glad you figured out your meds too! ❤️
Oh my! That first episode had to be so scary! The body sure can be a weird machine, but I’m glad you’re getting back on track. I enjoyed seeing all your finishes and plans. It’s a good thing my LNS isn’t closer or I’d be in there emptying our bank account! 😂 I’m with you about that Brenda Gervais Joy & Good Cheer chart! I’m hoping to do that one this year too. Thanks for the inspiration! ❤
so happy to hear you are feeling better-- always remember when they say Drs are practicing medicine they mean that literally. Its very hard to get them to listen and not just throw pills at you or repetitive tests.
I’m glad you’re feeling better. I hope the current medicine continues to work for you. Your stitches are beautiful and your productivity is always impressive. My husband and I vacationed in your area in September and I visited Liberty Hill Needleworks. I look forward to seeing your Christmas decoration video. I enjoyed the fall/halloween decorations.
I have very similar taste in stitching. I have a lot of SWTH. They have so many cute smalls. I just bought my first With Thy Needle and Thread. I love so many of their designs. I wish I had more time to stitch. So sorry about your thyroid issues. I work in healthcare and it’s still surprises me how often the treatment is trial and error and how hard it can be to get diagnosed. So glad you are better.
So good to see you! All your finishes are wonderful! I'm ready for Christmas stitching too! You've got a lot of great Christmas charts to choose from to start. Hope to see you soon! You have been missed! I'm so glad things are looking better for you healthwise.
Hi Kristen! Love your stitching! Such an inspiration. Glad you are feeling better. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving! I too suffer from thyroid issues. It happened after I had gallbladder removed. TSH/T3/ T4 went haywire. Took forever to get it straightened out. Ultrasounds, scans, and ended up with a biopsy due to a nodule on my thyroid. It was crazy. Yes you feel like you are going nuts. I had heart palpitations so badly that I almost went to the ER. Lightheaded, felt like you were in a fog all the time. Finally got it straightened out. But yes, I too was shocked at how much your thyroid controls everything in your body. So glad that they have it figured out and you are feeling better. Hang in there!
Thanks so much for sharing about your health. I also have hypothyroidism and have been on a steady dose of levothyroxine for several years. I remember how scared I was before I was diagnosed - I also had severe anxiety. I just can’t believe you encountered such a big issue after so much time being fine! So glad you are feeling better❤
It's nice to see you back. I'm amazed at how much stitching you get done. I'm sorry to hear about your health struggles. I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism about 16 years ago, after ups and downs with medication. I had a radioactive iodine treatment and became hypothyroid. I've been on synthroid ever since. I'm lucky I've never gad issues you had. Hopefully, things are under control now
My husband has hashimotos since age 20 and he is now 55, He was like you and always taken his medicine and was fine, Then all of a sudden he was feeling terrible and the medicine wasnt working anymore, We did not realize it was his thyroid acting up as his symptoms were anxiety and panic and depression etc... Finally figured out the medicine needed increased. He didnt change meds but may have to like you in the future, I sympathize with you and your health struggles. I woould not wish it upon anyone. The Thyroid can be tricky and i know many people may suffer due to this health problem and not realize what it is. So glad you spoke about it. Hashimoto is not a household name so its good to get it out there. I hope you feel better soon.
