Some amazing tracks here, a lot of my real favourites, shame about some of the mixing (like the one between Galaxia and Invisible). I swear it was on beat, but then, it definitely was not!

Audio Technica AT-LP120 Direct Drive Turntable x2 (not my decks, on loan from a friend)
Ortofon Concorde mk1/mk2 + nightclub stylus
Allen & Heath Xone:23C mixer (with DVS internal mod)
~2011 model Tabby and White Cat (with extra cuddles option)
Video recorded on iPhone 12 (in 0.5x zoom).
Audio recorded with Audacity via mixer record output (as DVS mod removes USB recording ability).
I'm 30 seconds in, a great track to kick off with! hopefully not all downhill from here .... lol just kiddin' I'm sure its not 😄😅

Today’s Generation haven’t a clue how good we had it bopping around Dancefloors drinking plenty of water in Niteclubs in the 90’s and 00’s. Everyone hugging and enjoying the club seeing back than. Thanks for listening, and thanks for the comments! Yeah, I love all these tracks so much, I'm sure it shows when I play them. In all honesty, I'm finding these modern turntables quite challenging compared to what I learned on back in the day, so a few of the mixes especially on this mix were pretty dicey! These are just on loan to me at the moment while my friend moves house, and then I'll be looking at some Reloop RP7000s most likely.

i’ve been listening to Trance since 1997..n it got me into DJing in 98..i self-tought in my bedroom for a whole 8month..but only in mid 1999 i can considered myself a proper DJ… i remembered my setup back then was my 2xSL1200, DJM500 n 2x CDJ500S….. the most perfect setup for the late 90s/early 2000…

Also hoping to get the mixing a bit tighter on the next one, I’ve realised with these decks that touching the platter is a mistake! Just need to get used to riding the pitch! Although it does sound much more professional than touching the platter, so a blessing in disguise maybe!

@@JonGTranceClassics back in 2000 I learned on a shitty set of Gemini tables. Once I get the 1200s I was a legend. The platter post grab is a must. I always feathered the pitch. Well done and looking forward to the next. Take requests??? Hahaha

Oh my god Tirsto Jest Be Antillas club remix is so good and I love the way you mixed that Rank 1 airwave straight in that's class mate airwave is a massive trance classic in my opinion and that mix of airwave is brilliant mate thank you caus that tune reminds me of my ex from Scotland called pam

Absolutely. I don’t know about you but they still sound as awesome as when I first heard them too. Don’t think I’ll ever get bored of these, and there’s so many that I didn’t get back then but I’m getting now. And yes, another mix will be done shortly!

It’s a microfibre cloth, but not like one of those really fluffy ones that you polish a car with. It came with the cleaning fluid from Amazon:
