I like the Zarude movie
You ever think about how movies that focus on the small story, even one that we've heard all before, end up being really good cause you can execute them really well in a normal movie length movie. Not necessarily that simple stories make for good movies automatically, but like, The more complicated and convoluted you make a movie (MARVELIMSTARINGRIGHTATYOU) the more muddled the message gets and you're not so much watching a movie that's trying to tell you something it's sort of just there to simulate entertainment? Like I can't tell you one goshded darnded song from any a marvel movie (except spiderverse obv) but zarude?? im over here bein like, WE ARE ZARUDE even if its the most basic stuff (not cursing cause youtbube) cause it focuses on the central themes and on telling the story and not like, the visual equivalent of potatoe chips.
