Writing this before watching: don't give up! If you already are an experienced MOBA player, once you learn the ins and outs, you're sure to enjoy it immensely! Writing this after watching: damn, I haven't ever done the new Dota tutorial system, and it's genuinely impressive how much stuff it teaches you nowadays! Great improvement for new players. Impressive that you managed to defeat a team containing Riki, Wraith King and Troll Warlord in your very first game, especially after Riki had been stomping so hard for a while. Very good job using active items like Dust and BKB, I remember struggling with that quite a lot as a newbie. Good luck and have fun playing Dota!
It's so funny that Valve added a "Customize Your Profile Showcase" in the tutorial page instead of "Neutral Items And How To Teleport Them To Neutral Stash" 😂
for a first time player you did really good brother! also you don't have to type "/all" command to access all-chat, you can simply press shift+enter or press tab when team chat is open. good luck in your journey!
nice style of editing, really enjoyed the pacing as well. hoping you find a bigger audience! would be nice if you did a small takeaway section at the end of the video though, it was a bit of an abrupt ending lol
This was super fun to watch and loved the narration! Hope you're still enjoying dotes, especially with The International (TI) on soon. The stun on the creep instead of Troll at 7:03 is a classic and still happens after thousands of hours. No one really uses the coaching feature properly sadly, but having friends that play is the best way to enjoy Dota. Hope to see more from you in the future.
Coming up against a KOTL in lane first game was pretty unlucky, looks like you did pretty well though! The games really are similar enough to jump into the other with your existing skillset, with both games it's just learning what the heroes do over time.
I think you did more to actually try to learn the game than 90% of new players. This isn't a good stat for the overall state of the playerbase, but I'm glad you gave it your earnest. Well played!
@@jordhuntssolo My brother in Christ, you have no idea how many new players came with a "LoL background" and absolutely 'sperg'd out, ruining their team's experience. Most of them have a mix of laziness and ego that pretty much butchers the fun everyone else might have had. Trust me when I say this: you're a rare, positive example of a new player I wish more people would aspire to be like.
You my friend did everything right, I mean you tried learning it properly. I didnt learn how to camp stack almost till like a year or something. I mean I knew it but never did it lol but Dota 2 was also my first MOBA that time. Cheers!
Wow the learn feature improved so much since the last time I played. But, the amazing thing is, you did all the tutorials and did better than most of the clueless newcomers
Playing with friends makes all the difference in the world. Convert friends into dota 2 players for a jolly good time. Failing or succeeding in a cool combo you and your friends thought out with hero interactions are the most enjoyable thing you can have. those insane skin prices are a thing cause those itens are limited in the game and the ppl who got then sell 4 absurd prices for ppl that are collectors (steam comunity market and the game [dota 2] store are different)
Loved this video. You did really well. Im honeslty impressed with the tutorial. It was non-existent for such a long time that I never bothered to look at it all these years later. How do you feel about the latest patch as a new player? Haha
Ye, I liked the game, a bit slow though for me but I will probably not play it again as I have many other games I want to try out. Thanks for the message!
Thanks dude! It was ok but a bit slow I think (unless you play the faster mode) but I probably won't play again as I have many games I'd like to try out ^^
@@jordhuntssolo brother i had to give it a break, my soul couldnt handle getting destroyed every game for weeks😂 Will pick it back up sometime fs, one of the best games created. RPG and FPS fans would like Dota if we werent so simple haha
looks like you got matched with a more experienced player, riki basically can deal more damage by backstabbing you, you have to face him if you want to take less damage from his attacks
64min first game lol
he did have his AC in his backpack ahahaha
That's like every herald game ever
Dude is lucky current dota don't have remote bomb techies 🤣. Otherwise be prepared to face 1-2h average
high ranks are like 20-30 mins tho
I'm stuck in herald so around 60 mins 😭
@@NoName-sx5sqwait, you cant detonate anywhre in the map now?
A player who seriously tried to learn the game! You are deserved a sub

getting coached was the funniest part of the vid lol
If you can call that coaching xd.
That KotL and Riki were there to welcome you to DotA properly :)
Enjoy your stay, because you can never leave
For new doto players, do not buy the full set, always check the price of item individually and buy it

Wow, you got very lucky to that game being your first real game! Wish you luck in learning Dota

Well from a LoL background I felt like I'd give it a try and learn the mechanics properly. Thanks!

Its exciting to see you learn more about Dota 2. you did amazing in your first pub game.
Thanks!!
im 5 months late but the fact that you did the entire tutorial and gave it a good go means you have earned a sub.
keep going mate!
I would love to see more gameplay like this. Subbed!
I got absolutely tossed around for my first game, it has scared me
Yes thats normal I think haha
Yo, very high quality video! You deserve more subs
Thank you!!
Bro actually do the tutorial, what a legend
You experienced DK Ult + Aghs + BKB + Giants Ring in your first game!! Thats luck!!! Haha. Nice gameplay. Woild love to see you try every role.
Thanks for the comment!! I probably won't be playing Dota as I have many other games I would like to try out. But maybe one day!
@@jordhuntssolo Oh come on! A new hero just launched. I'm sure you'll love playing DotA occassionally.
i swear the dota 2 tutorial has gone sooo far and its SOOOO GOOD

Huge respect for doing the tutorial
1:40 haha i have that dazzle set
as a former Dota pro, it is fun to see people trying out this masterpiece :)
There is a setting you can change so you don't have to use the attack button to deny
Ye, I'm sure there are lot's of different hotkeys etc I didn't fully dive into the game though xd
3:55 he told you buy items xD

epic comeback, plz make uploads about which heros you hate the most, those are always fun
As a very long time player , the single most helpful advice to you is Mute all chat. You don't need to communicate in lower ranks.
The Soundboard of Dota 2 "SasasasssaasasasasasasaassaasASASASASASASAS-Silence"
soOo WHOLESOME you made me cry with pride!
Imagine your first match game in dota and went more than an hour
Well more time for practice I guess xd
goodluck to your ranked match!! +25
Nice. Welcome to dota 2. You'll learn slowly but surely how the game works. Good luck.
Still an aswesome video! Wish I could help as your coach, better than drawing ...questionables!

playing dota is so good but as time goes by and you already good you became competetive this is the time you getting emotional everygame XD

The guy coaching in 4:00 said "آینم بخر" which means buy items lol

why would you want to destroy your life?
Better then all Iranians on the first try...I think u learned faster the most tbh
