The day before people heard the song being done during the period where Chappell and crew were setting up for the show and assumed it was one of her normal soundcheck covers. So they had at least one run thru on it. But I have to imagine they had a lot more practice then that one-off to turn in the level of performance they did. So either she planned this a long ways out and they did rehearsals before tour, or they are really THAT good. :)

I love Ann Wilson AND I think that Chappell killed this song in doing it her own way. I grew up with Heart and saw them live back in the day. In the same manner that Ann did Robert Plant/Stairway to Heaven in her own amazing fashion, Chappell can do this unexpected and excellent homage to Ann and Heart. All of the above can be true.
