Finally!!!! Couch Co-op! My wife is stupidly excited to finally be able to play with me. We of course play Diablo together and Balders gate dark alliance 1&2 as well as champions of Norrath 1&2 on ps2.

Tryed poe 1 on xbox its not great, now me and my wife play d4 on both pc and xbox and xbox is more chill . Hope poe 2 gives the same xperience, cant wait!! Super hyped❤
So the stash tabs and cosmetics and stuff i bought gor poe will they be available for poe 2 or will i have to buy them all again for poe 2?

Hey tri, I know there probably isn’t a way for you to know this for sure, but I have a question about cross progression.
How will that work for me if I play Poe through steam? I’ve never made a GGG account, I’ve just logged into the website with my steam credentials to use things like trade. I’m assuming there won’t be a login option on Xbox for steam, so would I be able to use cross progression?
Is that a way to “split” the account, like create an actual ggg account with my streams progression but not have it attached to steam?

There's a LOT to like about this, especially the co-op and cross-progression. One thing that wasn't mentioned was if consoles will be able to join private leagues, and if so, if is the private league platform restricted, or will cross-progression still be available? Enjoyed your video, Tri.

Damage numbers will be displayed right? I think I saw somewhere that we could have them displayed as an option. Might be silly but it's crucial to me

Honestly the lean into co op gameplay PoE2 seems to be wanting to do is so refreshing and exciting. Gives such a nostalgic feel and I am all for it, cannot wait to try PoE2 out~

Couch coop is basically same as D4. Current PoE on console is a total mess. So hopefully POE2 will have all these issues addressed. Inventory, skill assignment

This is good news for my friend who tends to swap to console if his RSI starts bugging him. The UI is starting to come along very nice. The couch co-op UI is looking slick.
question for POE2 Devs: what happens when you play coop and one character dies - does the camera split in half, so the guy can go alone to the other guy?

I don't understand why anyone on PC would want a fullscreen inventory, I've never thought "I hate that I can move around and interact with the environment while I'm in my inventory instead of just staring at my character". Please don't make this a forced feature on PC.

Ok so here's a question. We have cross play, and you rightly mentioned trading. Up until now, all the hints I've heard have pointed toward them not having an in game interface for this, but if it's cross play on console with pc with cross trade as well, it seems they will need an in game trade interface; or am I crazy?

GGG is an amazing company, nothing more to say. The love PLAY the game, that's it! An that's the main difference between "other AAA company"... You already know what I'm talking about.

One important question for me: Can I use a controller on PC, then switch to M+K for inventory management? Alternatively, can I plug in a mouse to my console and do inventory management there? If either answer is yes, then I will use these features a lot, and if the answer is no, I will probably be a WASD Andy.
I dont know about plugging in a mouse into ur console but if your playing on pc both mouse and controller will be active at the same time so you will be able to switch seamlessly between mk and controller as long as they are both connected. Thats generally how games on steam work for me since i alternate between a controller and mk based on what I'm doing ingame
@@darklight8338 While that is the case for many games, currently in Path of Exile on PC it is NOT the case. You have to completely shut down the game and restart it to switch between them. If this is somehow tied to the server, it will carry over to PoE2 because they use the same servers - and it very well may be tied there because GGG built this game in some very weird ways as they grew and learned.
@@ruibarian5187 Since controller support wasn't added at launch with PoE 1, i'm hoping that this is something they can work around and make seamless in PoE 2.

Hopefully they make no concessions due to console players. This kind of broad strategy tends to come with a lot of downsides for PC players.

people who get excited about it either never had a lan party before or havent stopped to think a few seconds about it. you are sharing one screen. so either you have to be joined at the hip in game or you will have a shit game experience.
