When I make icons they have some lines around the edge of the icons. How do I fix this?

Not sure why you are seeing lines. You'll need to look at your process and see when you are accidentally adding those.

At 8:00 - I don't get the option to choose a file on my iPhone 11 Pro iOS 14. I tried tapping, tried press and hold. Am I missing something?

Figured it out: can't do it when you're creating the shortcut, but you can when you're adding it to the home screen.
