Very jcm800 but theres a sizzle thats a bit foreign to any jcm800. I feel like he eqd an 800 to sound recorded as they do live… or the amp is modded. But jcm 800s and modded 1959s didnt sound the same back then and dont still to my ears.
@@ΣπύροςΚοσκινάς-τ5ι the amp that slash used on AFD album is a Marshall 1959T Plexi. The "T" means that this amp had a Tremolo circuit that was replaced by one more stage of gain (they added one more 12ax7 tube on the preamp). There was a company named "SIR" at that years that made a lot of amp modifications and they rented the amp numbered "#34" to Slash for AFD record, but he STOLE this amp and use for 2 years or so. You can hear this amp at the "live at the Ritz in 87' Sweet Child O Mine".

Not all heroes wear capes! Thank you Bro
Happy to help!
Thanks for this, dude - it's so clean. Really helps when working out Slash's guitar parts and how to properly play them 🤘
My pleasure. I'm working on separating his rhythm & lead parts. Here is a playlist for you: ua-cam.com/play/PL9hKgodMCCNPoVBCj-nD3qOT4AyZyDg1j.html
@@dickwhitman4288 Legend! Thanks so much.
@@Bklyn93 No. Sorry.
Would have been hope if we were getting a 5.1 remix of the UYI tracks for the Super Deluxe coming in November.
We ain't.
Underrated parts of his rig are the tube screamer and ge-7. I reckon they contribute way more to the sound than we give them credit for.

The Amp was a jtm from the late 70s

Pretty good isolated for hearing the parts, but doesn't represent the full sound of the guitars.
