Loomian legacy is like a garden. It starts out flourishing, growing into something new. Something we believe in. Then, the weeds begin to pop up. They wrap around the roots of the plants, killing what life the garden had. The issue with the LL devs, is that instead of removing the weeds, they are just throwing more seeds on top and hoping for one or two to grow. No matter how much they try, the weeds will prevail if not addressed and taken care of.
I love LL, I really do. But I can not just sit around and wait for updates that might not arrive for years. I have not quit the game fully, but I know deep down it will never truly get better. There are too many weeds in the garden...

Of course, do not go out of your way to attack any LTS devs. Once again this video was made for the purpose of looking back on LL, highlighting their biggest self killer, and hope that one day we’ll see a better future for LL.
What we want, is action. We want to know and see that the game is being worked on, development behind the scenes updates, dev logs, etc.

To be honest I don't think you can really use the "oh it's a small team" argument anymore because Doodle World exists. That is a very small team as well but they are able to consistently put out high quality updates and keep the community engaged
Not only that but if LTS had a problem with the team size, they can just hire more people
@the_crimsoncrusader thr problem with that is LTS themselves, due to being paranoid from the code leak from the time when PBB was out, so they refuse to hire anyone else.

This should be a new age where they can be creatively free and open minded rather than just a cheap copy. If they can't take criticism they should completely disband the content and stop making games that they can't keep promises on.
A slap in the face is what can wake someone up, and they need that more than anything.
I started playing this game in 5th grade. I just started high school. Loomian Legacy doesn’t ever follow through on what they say and it’s not even a surprise if an update gets delayed. So many things have changed in the past 4 years of this game being out that it’s basically pointless to stay in this community

I gave up on LL months ago. The final straw was Antlanthian. I remember being rlly excited after sepharite city (sorry if i spelt the names wrong but i could care less abt that rn) I was 12 at the time and waited for almost 2 fucking years, for what? A part 1, 30 minute update with little to no content. It’s clear they dug their own graves by constantly letting us down and poor communication. At this point, it’s a lost cost. I left months ago, and now everyone is leaving too because we’re all tired of their bullshit. Literally all they needed to do was just tweet abt updates and be honest with us, but no. That’s too much for them I guess. It’s sad really. I remember me and my best friend would play LL after school back in 2019, but now? We’d rather watch paint dry. LL is the perfect definition of what NOT to do for a game like this. Peace.

I feel like if they had more help, more developers helping out and more communication. I feel like it would be doing way better than the way they're going now, there will be more people playing and way more updates too.

It's sad to see how a game I've loved, spent so much time with and had so much hope in fall to the ground. The hole the deletion PBB left in Roblox and others including me was very heart wrenching. When LL came around we thought it would change, but it just left a even bigger hole in the end. Not much can be done to save LL in my opinion. I really do hope it can succeed but I just don't see it. It hurts to even write this comment now but it's the truth. If the dev's don't wanna work on LL like they said its probably the best option just to discontinue the game. Brad kids are starting to get into the stage in life where things get complicated. More time with them equals less time on LL. Scripters are important and without them it won't work out. I think it's better for everyone to move on from LL and truly start a new phase of Roblox Creature Catching aka Tales of tanorio, Doodle World, Eleon Adventures, etc. To the dev's if your somehow reading this. Critism doesn't even matter anymore. We just want to know the truth about all of this please and thank you.
I have to say, even though I like the game, they are right, LL has been becoming only welcoming those who only say that the game is good, if anyone says something bad about them, they will then just toss you aside and leave you behind.

I fell like a real big problem for loomian legacy is something out of their control. The forced closure and shutdown of Brick Bronze and people still living on nostalgia. And with all these copies of brick bronze i see nowadays has defo been a main factor

The thing about those Brick Bronze copies though is that they’re constantly getting shut down, usually for copyright or scammy reasons, so all the things that some players bought with robux go to waste, I never trust them even if they are nostalgic

@@samkelly5045 the popular brick bronze copies host their data on third-party sources so even if the game gets taken down your data saves and they just reupload it in the next couple days with all your data so that definitely is a factor in LL's fail
Honestly, I was a big Loomian Legacy fiend for like, the longest time; I loved the game, I loved hunting, and I loved hanging out with friends in it. I met many great friends in the game who I am still friends to in this game, and have been big supports for me over the last couple of years.
This game, to me, was a fun thing to mess around on. But, once you run out of things to mess around with, it truly gets boring, but I always had friends to play with. Even if I did the same thing one hundred separate times, with friends it was a completely new and different experience. However, overtime friends found less interest in game, and so, I did as well.
I can honestly say I would at least play Loomian Legacy once a day over the last couple of years (besides short breaks I would have), and genuinely would enjoy myself even for the tiniest bit, however, now I can't even say that. Whenever I play Loomian Legacy it just feels forced on my own part, it feels like I'm forcing myself to play something I deep down don't even want to, despite it being by my own choice.
I will honestly say that, at this stage, I don't even want to support the developers for just.. being incompetent. I know being a developer is hard, but you can't just expect people to feel sympathy for you because of that the entire time. They've been given so many opportunities to improve, to be patient with the community and they'd just decline the opportunity and shut us all out.
It genuinely feels gross supporting people for years that would treat you like this. You give them your time, your money, and yet in the end you're just being disrespected. I feel like even if the community wasn't as, cruel (I guess?) as they are right now this still would've happened.
One thing I still can't believe is when they said that Soul Burst would be coming out in 2021, and yet 2 years later we still aren't even sure of a certain date to look at. The recent trailer not even showing a release date was the killer. No matter what you say, the fact that they have had this much time and still can't even give us a single month for a release date, is genuinely awful for the game.
The community, again, gave us so many chances for the developers to try to help us understand, but instead we would just get shut out.

Video was well done Lucky, I will say I don't watch much of your content (I don't really watch much roblox in the first place), but this video had my interest the entire time. This was well put together, well said and overall just a great view on the game itself in its current state. It also brought to light the beginning, I didn't even know that they were acting like this since the beginning.
Sorry if this was a long read and not a lot of it made sense or felt rambly, I just wanted to comment about my own views on Loomian Legacy / LTS at this point in time.

This video is as sad as it's true.
Look at me, back on 2022 when beach update came, building teams with joy and happiness because the game is perfectly balanced in terms of PvP. My Gamma Protogon is literally on my banner, yet I haven't been playing the game for ages because I lost faith and passion. I am disappointed by LTS and even if I do not wish anything bad to them, I really hope they'll be able to change and be able to be more productive and communicating.
I never did pvp because prepping took too long
I hope that future creature capturing games or other games in general dosen't follow the same path as loomian legacy, hopefully loomian legacy will dig out of this "Dark Era" and bring in a new era with them learning there lessons...

They made the water and put themself in ocean. They could get themself out the ocean and into a lake if they maybe tried to communicate but it’s likely when they promise it, it’s gonna happen and end quickly and the cycle repeats.
Most people in loomian legacy are young or in a job. Thats why they really arent growing huge or anything. Also the lack of updates it just making it die aswell, PVP community is also killing it with the toxic amount of people. Also people getting hacked leads into that aswell. Same with people getting scammed and quitting the game.
Trading community is even more toxic then pvp community.
I remember people on the LL wiki going after me because the set I use for luxoar wasn't the same set everyone used (the one that got completely walled by plant types at the time) 💀
I have never seen ANYBODY complain about toxicity.
Dev logs and communication are a huge part of any work in progress game. Just look at any game on steam in early access. People constantly complain about a lack of communication and visible progress, and it can tank a game's ratings. Even if progress is slow, communication is huge. And anything is better than literally nothing.
Tldr; it's ok for progress to be slow, but keep your community updated on that progress so they stay interested.
Also I'd like to add that I think the success of these other creature catching games comes from looking at the shortcomings of LL.
They were most likely people that have played LL and were dissatisfied with things in and around the game. Learning from that, and trying to do better. Like wish with DW. As you said, constantly posting in the dev feed. And even going so far as to compensate players for delays (which he doesn't have to do, but still does). What Loomian Legacy might need at this point is a new development lead, which I understand is difficult to think. But if Lando and Tbrad aren't interested in making the game anymore, then they should pass the torch. I personally wouldn't cling on so tight to something I don't enjoy creating. But who's to say what they're really thinking?
I like Loomian Legacy sadly the same can’t be said for the developers it’s really sad how much they fumbled and losing their following due to lack of communication and abandoning those who criticize them and I agree with Lucky I don’t think Loomian legacy has a future especially if they ostracize their fans for simply pointing out flaws and not saying “positive things”
You are definitely right about that replayability issue. I remember not having much to do besides grinding. I got fed up with it and told myself that i'll pick it back up when it reaches the state of completion that brick bronze was in. so far it seems about half way done.

I'm going to put my honest thought into this comment and the game in general, the games developers don't seem to have love for it. They keep on saying release dates and never follow up. I've never seen a community with developer's who don't even interact. They always say they do better, but they seem to be doing worse. I've never seen before a game that has an update that takes 3+ years to come out that is actively being worked on. Now Il give them the benefit of the doubt, developing is Hard as HELL to do so. But this also doesn't excuse their constant delaying of the update, favoritism for certain youtubers, as well as the overall toxicity and the inactivity of the developers and community. Like I said I don't think the developer's love their game, all they are doing is releasing an event every month that supposedly "delays" the update even though all they add is 1 sometimes more remodels of a loomian with certain odds and if not it's like the Halloween/Christmas/easter/valentine events but with a new 1 or 2 loomians added. I don't think these remodels, new and reused loomains for events, or even just loomian recolors for that matter will hinder Atlantis's development as bad as the developers portray. Most likely it's to just give something for players to do to keep their game active and make a quick buck. I know the loomian legacy developers have school by my oh my, if you Really care for a game and its community then you would actually take time to make the update happen instead of us waiting 4 years just to get disappointed AND also have 0 community interaction.

Unfortunately, as much as I have supported the game, almost everything you said in this video is 100% true. The LL devs simply take the community for granted. I understand that no dev team is perfect and shouldn't be entirely represented by their flaws. However, the devs had chances to change. There's a reason why lucky removed his loomians from the game. They lied to us and left us in the dust for weeks, if not months. If Atlanthian City Part 2 by some miracle manages to revive the game, which it most likely wont as we've waited super long, then maybe LL does have a future.
It's not difficult to provide like one picture of what to expect in part 2. The soul burst stratusoar reveal was great and all but the original prequel to that video was 2 years ago.
LL was personally one of my favorite games back then. Now, I don’t know if it has a future at all. I still love the game but I feel like the other creature capture games have a bigger success. Take Nexomon for example. It’s a stream game that has a good story line and everything and Nexomon 2 continues that same story. Nexomon 3 is in the works and not ready to be released, but it’s going to continue the story line. It’s not about the creatures in the game, it’s how you write it’s story out and continuing it.
I still feel a shred of hope. I'm not giving up on this game!

The thing thats even more sad is that people don't want to play the "new" and "reformed" brick bronze but all want the old one back... Sad to see myself going back home from school in second grade to play brick bronze.. Not the same now since im a Freshman and seeing the game i cherished the most die out like that.

Like I’m not trying to hate but I agree with Murdrface, Some people like me supports the LL developers and we were always on their side and now it’s like the LL developer just don’t care anymore, I feel like all that support from me and the others just worth nothing now, again I'm not trying to hate but I've been supporting the LL developer for years and now they just don't care anymore. If I had to guess why LL is dying is because there is not enough love put into the game.

Like I said and I’ll say it again. LL is a good game. The devs make it a horrible game. The CC race battle to see who is the better (best CC game in Roblox with better features, graphics, flaws, gameplay, trade, pvp game, popularity, player count, likes ratio, etc…) is really between DW and ToT. LL is completely out of the rivalry. It’s not even a Rivalry like that. It’s just friendly competition. But LL are completely out of this

I played Loomian legacy when it first launched, after a few weeks I never came back because of how lackluster the content is. I never knew how unhindged the devs could be (no hate to them at all) and I can not come back to this after how long this game has been out it has sadden me where it has became, also overtime ive noticed you been better with your content and i dont mock at it anymore i can't wait for your upcoming game

2 years ago I got hacked and devs refused to return anything even after a WEEK of telling me that I would. I had like 25 gr but their pride is wild and they did nothing after the account that took my loomians got banned.
And then they wonder why they are loosing profit smh. I just want the game to finally die so they make a new popular one.
Like i always loved the game and spent over 300$ but they couldn’t take the 15 minutes to just recreate the stuff that I lost. They probably lost like another 300$ in future profit. Smh.

Ngl, the only reason why I play LL is bc it's the only creature capture game on Roblox out rn. And it's funny and unfortunate how some of the most creative people on Roblox who created an insanely popular game back in 2016 are some of roblox's most sensitive ones.
The biggest issue with Llama train is that they released a creature capture game unfinished. Creature capture games are meant to be replayable with a strong amount of content. If you only have a small amount of content people will be bored. Plus their lack of communication is honestly embarrassing. Im glad there is competition coming as it really needs to for the devs to stop being so damn incompetent.
dude if they did that not only would LL would just be throwing leak after leak after leak that people are just gonna speculate when is it gonna come out and eventually get bored of it but i bet half the consideration from the community that are planned to come in the future wouldn’t even happen. a game with a small dev team can’t just wait until completion for the game to come out.

If im being honest, the loomian legacy saga is over, almost 90% of the players play the game to rely on the nostalgia of pokemon brick bronze and would just resort to pokemon brick bronze clones instead.
I remember playing loomian legacy all the time when it got released and I waited until an update or an event happened and waited until I lost interest. I came back when Atlanthian city was released but left after I was done.
Can't believe Uzukee took inspiration from LTS. Truly a moment in time.

it's not just lack of communication though? It's a mixture of all sorts of problems surrounding Loomian Legacy like lack of fun replayable content and frequent story updates. Communication is just one part of it.

I remember having so much hope for lumian legacy’s future up until the 2nd Halloween update. I quit after realizing they spend more time making limited time holiday events compared to actual permanent content.
I loved the game at first, then as time went by it was getting more and more apparent that they aren’t communicating much at all. The only reason i play now is for events and thats pretty much it. Pvp is way too grindy and unbalanced, trading is boring as hell cuz now there barely anyone to trade with, and theres basically nothing to do in adventure. The game was well made, but it has issues especially with the developers of the game. It is most likely going to die and part 2 wont be saving it.
Can’t wait to see the numbers on Atlanthian Part 2. I bet my life savings it going to have less than 10k on Update day…

As a really long LL player, this just sad for me a good game with SUCH HIGH potential failing down to the other side of the earth its crazy and i am truly lost of words.

This is probably because people want main story-line stuff but they randomly add useless updates like *valentine's* don't get me wrong they added easter this year and it was fun and the two biggest ones holloween and Christmas are great but sometimes people just want story over events it also takes time to polish them game. But how long does it need to polish the game? If you kept working non stop 5 months sure it would make you burnt out but would make the people happy.
I hate to see this amazing game come to this it’s just so disappointing that this utterly amazing come to this as you said this is probably the BEST game to come out on roblox and for them to just ruin it into something so hated so controversial it’s just so utterly frustrating disappointing and sad to see it come to this😢

At the time i saw it was at 343 i was shocked
Before Atlanthian I used to care about this game so much. I used to support and defend the game by saying that we should just be patient and that these long updates are usually awesome and worth the wait. I used to play almost every single day, I remember thinking about the game in school and being excited about any news or leaks about the Atlanthian update. But when the actual update came out, I was let down. The 20-30 minutes of gameplay, the 4 new loomians the city added and the quite boring story that didnt go anywhere in this update were not worth the 2-3 years wait. Not to mention when it was revealed the devs havent been actually working on Atlanthian city until like the last 3 months before the release I felt betrayed. Me and a bunch of people in the community were defending the game and the devs, how we should be patient and how the devs are working hard on the update, while they were doing nothing and just releasing an event after an event? I hoped that maybe the devs would learn from their mistakes, that they would prioritize story updates over events, that they would let us know how the progress on the game is going, that the updates would be coming out sooner. But I was wrong. The game is dead and I belive nothing the devs do from now on can bring it back. I just dont care anymore and it feels like the devs dont care either. Belive me when I say that I dont think we will see Atlanthian part 2 any sooner then in 2024. And I have a feeling that the release of games like Tales Of Tonario will be the final nail in the coffin for Loomian Legacy. As someone who cared about the game it hurts to see it die like this, because I belive loomian legacy is a well made game and had the potentional to be a great successor to PBB.

If the game completely dies, the dev team deserves it after how they act towards the community.
I quit because of a lack of content. I only come back for events and updates and even then they are seasonal so they just repeat the same thing over and over with a new roaming.
Just checked loomian legacy right after this and it was at 534 😢
The main reason I believe LL legacy is dying is simply because they don’t have replay ability. Like lucky said at the beginning, games like blox fruits, adopt me, and Brookhaven stay alive and flourish for forever but loomian legacy which is way better than any of them cannot. That’s because once you get done with the LL story, there’s nothing fun to do. Sure you have the arcade, pvp, trading, and hunting but that’s not fun especially when you do it for hours and hours. The story is where the fun is really at. But, once you’re done with the story you can’t do it again unless you get another account and most people either can’t make a new account or don’t want to go through all that trouble.
I can’t wait for Tales of Tanorio, hopefully it’ll fix the issues that Loomian Legacy has, because Ive been wanting something new for a long time. I gave up on LL when they released beach (no Atlanthian), and then split Atlanthian up. My main issue is the replayability. Truly, an LL

Honestly, I think you make some great points in the video. Although I cant fucking wait forever like Im going to need to get a job one day. I want to be a game designer. I wish to work for games etc but holy shit Im a fucking lazyass. I see myself in the LL position. When you dont make time for something you're passionate about and work for it. It will potentially fail. I really want them to release something more with the game. Not just Atlanthian part 2 Im sure they will have more content in it, surely right?

I’m in the same boat as you. I think LL is close to death and I just can’t get into doodle world.
I don’t use Twitter- I mean “X”, but I know it’s too late for the game to recover now, I can already see that ToT is going to be in the top roblox games since we can communicate easier, well, we can communicate better with the devs.

I still have faith in loomian legacy, of course I only go on when there is something more to do... But i think i see a way to fix it. If everyone leaves, they atleast will still have 1 fan
I'm not giving up hope on loomian legacy yet I know it can rise back up again I agree with everything said on this video but my hopes will still be placed in loomin legacy🙏
