It would be cool if there were NPCs hinting at how to get some of the specific Loomian Evolutions. Imagine there was a guy in Heiwa Cemetary that said something like "My Vari fainted in the grass, but something strange happened to my Vari after that." I feel like this could solve a lot of the issues.
tbh thats a really cool idea. But i know that some beginners don't talk to all the npcs. Maybe if they were a battle trainer, and they do the thing where they wave at you and walk up to you. Then they say the vari example, and the battle begins. But one of their loomians is the vari evolution.

They made sure that the story is fine on its own, it’s just other Loomians and features that are hidden from first glance. I also kind of like it like this because then there is a lot of new things to discover which is exciting if you thought you had already seen everything and it encourages interaction with other players.
7:40 that's a good idea. The Devs should add clues to how to evolve loomians that don't evolve by leveling up, especially Vari because Vari has so many evolutions. It's basically Eevee but in loomian legacy
Something else that I feel needs to be pointed out is that for each of these loomians, if you even want to have a chance of being able to find their gamma, the only wild exclusive rare variant, you need to complete its mastery to do so, which nothing even points out in the game, and can get incredibly, incredibly tedious, especially during events (pretty much why I hate getting new loomians and gamma reskins during events) If we had some new mastery rewards, then it might be worth it, but as a non-pvp player, gummies and shards from late game mastery is a terrible reward for me.
@@dragonsmissyou3122 actually that is incorrect. Gammas are not just for trading. When it comes down to it, gammas are a feature for the hunting community, which affects trade community.
@@Its_Thomas_ But when you consider having how tedious it gets during events every single time a new loomian gets added, it becomes a problem, especially considering gammas are the only real "good" thing to hunt. Its just become a very messy and tedious system. LL 100% needs a new balancer to hopefully fix some of these issues, since they keep piling up.
@@Its_Thomas_ I definitely think one way they could make it a bit less tedious is have half mastery unlock the gamma, while full mastery unlocks a reward. These rewards could range from a special saddle to some boost tokens. Overall though, mastery needs a bit of an overhaul to make it a bit more approachable/rewarding
I agree with all of these, besides the pharoglyph needing an ancient sceptre one, cuz it’s lowkey kinda obvious that it’s for the only Egypt-like Loomian in the game
I mostly agree with this but i think a feature that could really help out is in the mastery, if you click on a loomian. It shows the same things but it also shows a little icon in the corner and if you click on it, it gives you a hint on how to get it Example: for buzzolen, it can be like “A Flourants pollen has different aromas with different emotions. Varis that were exposed to a certain pollen appeared more responsive than usual.

So basically out of the 201 obtainable loomians only 40% are unobtainable loomians without either a guide or event. Which I feel is kind of fair. So let's say that 30% are event exclusive that means 70% of the loomians are obtainable via trading or guides. For the average loomian legacy player, it's actually really easy to get all unobtainable loomians if 1) you are lucky enough and 2) spend at least 1 year of only playing when events are released. That is basically what I did in 2021 and the only thing I missed was catching and evolving snowl into wintrix, so I decided to trade a starter that I rallied for a snowl. (Also speaking of snowl and Ice types, The only way to obtain ice types is to play the Jolly Village event or choose snowcub as your starter which is very weird. Why not add a snowstorm weather at this point?)
I feel like pharoglyph is pretty easy without tutorials. The ancient scepter's sprite matches pyraminds design and also pyramind is the only ancient looking loomian.
One way the loomian legacy developers could deal with the issue is for any loomian that has or hasn't been encountered (for those that have shown a transparent image, and for those that haven't been encountered, a black silhouette) and then give a hint on how to obtain it in the empty box where the description would be once you catch it.
2:29 okay here's my arguement against the pyramind line. Ancient scepter has the same colour scheme to pyramind, and when I first saw it (originally being someone who didn't use tutorials or ask people for help) I figured it out due to that. However I can agree that some things need to be hinted at a bit better. Thunder Fruit is an example I'll say, just have it say "Evolves certain Electric Types" Also 3:10, We as a community had to figure out how to evolve vari together. Anyone can figure it out once messing around enough, although some are extremely bizzare
I think the bigger problem is that mastery is the only way to get better disks, this *kinda* works for now, but when it's finished, a new player isn't going to stop to do mastery, they're going to finish the game.

This is exactly what I felt, I just came back to playing Loomian after quitting for a whole year or almost a year like that. And I was so overwhelmed with the amount of updates and farming I had to do, farming experience for my Loomian was another thing but trying to figure out old features was another thing bcuz listen, I forgot how to play Loomian at that point. And the I realized I had Pyramind in my PC, and then I realized I had to have a high level mastery and I just gave up.
once i got wresolen on accident when i was grinding for it to be the normal type one when it say it can be evolved at lvl 15 I was so confused and when I evolve it I was even more confused
I honestly dislike the fact that the event Loomians are all jumbled up with the normal Loomians, I feel like they should either have a certain section or be all located in one spot like near the bottom of the Loomipedia
I think it would be cool if there was a loomiwatch app that gave hints on how to evolve or obtain certain loomians. Here are a few examples: "When a Florant is feeling happy or excited, it may release pollen. if this pollen sticks to a Vari, something unusual will happen." "Galvanite cave is a wonderful place, however, there are odd pieces of metal that protrude from the wall. These metal pieces are extremely magnetic" "There are legends of a strange loomian living in a frozen cave near jolly village"
The evolution items could probably be solved well enough by having a "Compatible" or "Incompatible" tag put on them when hovered over, similar to move manuals, and if this is already in the game and I'm just forgetting, then they're fine imo That said, the hold the item and trade to evolve, that I'm less okay with. That really shouldn't exist. Then again, the only loomians that exists for are the event variant loomians that already evolve through trade in their base forms, so you can kinda deduce which loomian they're used for with a little bit of thinking. So I dunno. If something obtainable outside of events gets this, though, that's too much. I do hope they add the ability to get event loomians in the main game eventually, though. Especially considering they likely can't keep running events forever. They'd be better off adding permanent areas to unlock them, then focusing their events on the sequel (assuming loomian legacy survives to get a sequel, of course, which does sound like their hope given they gave it a subtitle) Dr. Halione's Nightmare could be readded as a sidequest, which could then be followed up by using multidimensional travel to go to areas to get the other event loomians? Just an idea that probably could be implemented better by actual game developers lol anyways ramble over
I remember when I asked how to get oxidrake (when I already knew about it) to see how many people would know. One guy was like "uh, galvanite cave" like it is obvious.
Am only 3 and a half minutes in and I was so confused by this i didn’t even all this stuff I just played loomian with no video or anything and now I have beaten the game and I see this video and it just so mind blowing how much I miss and really I would have never learn about the vari just found about it by this video thanks for everything dude this was useful and so far I got three vari evolution but anyway thanks again for making this even tho I’m a 1 year late lol but greatly appreciated it and enjoying it so far ❤
It would be very cool if in Galvanite Cave, you would be able to find the geklow varriants and the guy who gives you a eleguana mount. (This would be cool, but im just mad i didn’t get eleguana saddle)
honestly the hardet part is atlanthian city ;-; to progress you go from a lvl 50 --> 55 --> 65, most new players aren't be able to jump a whole 15 lvls from the sepherite city to atlanthian ;-; like since i wasn't one of the po ple who crazy grinded ( i only play during events and stuff ) i never lvl grinded and it hit a lvl wall at the atlanthian gym, and then i had to grind hours on end to get up the lvls cause i didn't lvl grind before.
If loomian legacy told people how to get things then multiple UA-camrs including you will get less views on your “how to get videos” bc they will alredy know how to get it.
If you haven’t bought any of the passes or tokens, there’s no chance of getting a roam or an alpha/gamma. Plus, the trade resort is home to a bunch of grinders who don’t give out stuff for free.
I think a good suggestion would be to get info on the evolutions if you beat a trainer that had the evolution. Then you can access it through the loomipedia.
I feel like the item/trade evolving pokemon goes the same for the first few generations of the pokemon games. Same with the mutagon issue, a lot of mythical and non-story related legendareis are extremely hard to get.
#74 Mutagon at 4:36 is most definitely possible and actually not that hard to get without tutorials, i got it the day after the area for it released without tutorials or even knowing what i would get for completing the code
I don't think the whimpour one is an issue, if they assume it evolves just by levelling it up, they'll just use it in a bunch of battles, and that will cause it's bond to go up anyways.
Yeah, and the mastery quest added to most recent loomians are basically the same. There's no unique quests now. It's always just: - Catch "x" of this loomian - Rally "x" of this loomians - Earn "x" exp with this loomian - Deal "x" damage with this loomian - Hit loomains with super effective moves "x" time with this loomian ...and that's basically every mastery quests in the nutshell now. For real, at least give us more interesting quests LL devs.
I Dissagree with the other 18 starters part. Once you get to rally ranch you can mass produce copies of your starter which you can trade with other players. Worse case scenario you could always make a new account that can grab other loomian starters. Hell, I think I can mass produce all of the starters with at least 5 perfect stats. The tutorials are free for anyone who is interested, so I don't see it as an issue. The only part I agree with is the loomians that are no longer obtainable (Halloween skins and the like).
Can we just all agree that there are Loomians that aren't meant for new players. I don't see the exaggerated need for tutorial for the new players. You know sometimes it's about the experience. Believe it or not, they will eventually find a way, same way that the community has figure the Varilution out. You know "the thrill of the hunt' stuff right ?? I don't see how this is different from that. Getting to figure something out by yourself can be thrilling. What I'm saying is that tutorial is literally just a time skip / convenience rather than a requirement to play the game.
yeah its the same with pokemon or doodle world i dont see why this is really a problem, i mean guides are there for a reason, or you can just look it up on wiki
I feel like theres so many encyclopedia loomians that you need to be in a certain event to get. I get the reskins and whatnot, but these should be obtainable forever
Also the non paid rates for some loomians is, why? I mean, sure skins, whatever but some skins actually add new moves to the loomians so it might be good to count them as new loomians
I think the idea of adding it in the loomipedia descriptions would be a good idea but it has 2 flaws maybe instead of just showing the item you give a hint to it in the description like for instance when Gecklow eat certain fruits they have been known to evolve it just makes the mechanic more fun instead of just outright telling them another thing that is flawed with this idea is that mobile players cannot look at the descriptions so I think that the devs should make mobile players able to see the descriptions and then hint at the evo in that
I think a lot of the issues here with new players finding a lot of the Loomians, stem from a huge inherent issue with most Roblox devs where they think challenging = "make things as convoluted and obscure and hard to solve as possible to the point you often need to figure out cyphers, cryptograms, audio to visual shenanigans, binary code and the like to get one badge", and those who do such fully get this weird complex where people who want things to be more simple/easy/less obtuse to figure out are called noobs/bacons/wimps/ect. because how dare you not put in the effort to get a PhD in 15 different subjects to do something like find a jpeg of a hamster.
And for the “just trade for it” argument, the average player is going to have anything worth trading because a lot of traders often want overpay for simple event exclusive stuff which again the average player isn’t going to have
Yeah, LL is pretty imbalanced towards newer players without giving much information away in the game itself. Unless you have someone to help you, there is close to no chance you'll find any hint of these Loomians' evolution methods. Maybe there could be NPCs that talk about this or even a part in the Loomipedia that explains or mentions evolution methods to make it easier for the average player.
18. Not necessarily, I got all the starter looms for free via trading, and plus most noobs beg in trading so it wouldn’t be that impossible for them to get But I agree it’s hard to play loomian legacy without tutorials (however your points are limited to getting loomians, which is alright but there’s way more things you can talk about, like gym puzzle)
Hey, new player here. I wanted to watch this video as a guide to evolve stuff, but now I realise that god damn this game goes deep. P:S corrupt duskit is way too op for that level in the game, omg
I remember when I stopped playing for a very long time and I came back and all my loomings were gone for some reason, at the old map I had all of them when they got the new map everything got restarted so this is like 3 time it happens, I was tired of getting all the loomings again that I caught before so I just quit.
What i learned from this vid : OH GOD I MISSED SO MANY COOL EVENT LOOMIANS :( But really tho , yeah a new player who doesn't check the wiki or look at tutorials will not be able to get these . Maybe the devs could make NPCs that give hints and as you sugested , update the damn loomipedia !
Number 20 and 21 are the same as any Pokémon game with stones they don’t specify what Pokémon to use so that’s probably up for anyone to find out themselves

The evolution items could probably be solved well enough by having a "Compatible" or "Incompatible" tag put on them when hovered over, similar to move manuals, and if this is already in the game and I'm just forgetting, then they're fine imo
That said, the hold the item and trade to evolve, that I'm less okay with.
3:25 ayo 😳
Thanks i have learned new things thanks lucky 😁
It would be very cool if in Galvanite Cave, you would be able to find the geklow varriants and the guy who gives you a eleguana mount. (This would be cool, but im just mad i didn’t get eleguana saddle)
Pokémon also has this though, friendship evolutions, and certain items needed to evolve, or trading a Pokémon holding a specific item
honestly the hardet part is atlanthian city ;-; to progress you go from a lvl 50 --> 55 --> 65, most new players aren't be able to jump a whole 15 lvls from the sepherite city to atlanthian ;-; like since i wasn't one of the po ple who crazy grinded ( i only play during events and stuff ) i never lvl grinded and it hit a lvl wall at the atlanthian gym, and then i had to grind hours on end to get up the lvls cause i didn't lvl grind before.
If loomian legacy told people how to get things then multiple UA-camrs including you will get less views on your “how to get videos” bc they will alredy know how to get it.
We also need to give a shout-out to the LL Wiki. Anything you want to know about LL is there and it's so beneficial for new players.
Hi this is not related to the video, but I wanna ask if the new game that your taking part on is gonna be smooth for low end devices.
If you haven’t bought any of the passes or tokens, there’s no chance of getting a roam or an alpha/gamma. Plus, the trade resort is home to a bunch of grinders who don’t give out stuff for free.
The trade resort has basically become the irl stock market exchange
yeah we NEED an easier way to get gammas
@at4kz pity: bruh
@@fnafplushultimate6792 not enough nor guaranteed and takes too much time AND incredibly boring
Vari evo methods are unhinged lol
This is true for pokemon too, and it just makes it a bit cooler than just trying to evolve a loomian normally
I think a good suggestion would be to get info on the evolutions if you beat a trainer that had the evolution. Then you can access it through the loomipedia.

Don't click it I am warning you
Its not even just kralaloa, someone just flat out didnt believe me when i told them craytal evolves by trade.
The wandering lumian take an average of atleast 4 hours
Also I’m assuming elePhage is based off a Phagcyte which is pronounced with an F no a Ph
Once again loomian legecy needs a bigger update there is almost nothing for me to do
I actually like this about the game. If gives the players a reason to look at these tutorials and get introduced to the community
And another sad thing is, there is literally no point of completing the dex apart from doing the nightmare known as mastery
Yeah, and the mastery quest added to most recent loomians are basically the same. There's no unique quests now. It's always just:
- Catch "x" of this loomian
- Rally "x" of this loomians
- Earn "x" exp with this loomian
- Deal "x" damage with this loomian
- Hit loomains with super effective moves "x" time with this loomian
...and that's basically every mastery quests in the nutshell now. For real, at least give us more interesting quests LL devs.
@@eragons1894 yep, just look at event looms the biggest copy and paste ever 💀
The Pokémon games have weird evolution methods too don’t forget it doesn’t tell you what can evolve with stones plus evolving galarian Yamask in swsh
i got this notification "1 minute ago" but the comments are 4 days ago... w h a t
I’ve been playing loomian legacy for 3 years and I try to keep up with most of the updates but there were a couple loomains even I didn’t know about
I think the idea of adding it in the loomipedia descriptions would be a good idea but it has 2 flaws maybe instead of just showing the item you give a hint to it in the description like for instance when Gecklow eat certain fruits they have been known to evolve it just makes the mechanic more fun instead of just outright telling them another thing that is flawed with this idea is that mobile players cannot look at the descriptions so I think that the devs should make mobile players able to see the descriptions and then hint at the evo in that
Don't forget about copper nugget
and the chances
Yeah I had these issues too to the m
Point I started trading my gleams for event loomians :(
I think a lot of the issues here with new players finding a lot of the Loomians, stem from a huge inherent issue with most Roblox devs where they think challenging = "make things as convoluted and obscure and hard to solve as possible to the point you often need to figure out cyphers, cryptograms, audio to visual shenanigans, binary code and the like to get one badge", and those who do such fully get this weird complex where people who want things to be more simple/easy/less obtuse to figure out are called noobs/bacons/wimps/ect. because how dare you not put in the effort to get a PhD in 15 different subjects to do something like find a jpeg of a hamster.
And for the “just trade for it” argument, the average player is going to have anything worth trading because a lot of traders often want overpay for simple event exclusive stuff which again the average player isn’t going to have
for whimpor, if a player generally uses whimpor on its team, eventually its friendship will max and it will evolve
I agree, it's the same basis of friendship evolutions in Pokemon, and those only really suck for experienced players, otherwise it's a fun surprise
This is also a problem in modern pokemon games (looking at you galarian yamask)
To be fair galarial yamask is the only one with that god awful evolution requirement all the other pokemon are pretty fair
Ive Never played this game but this video sold me
18. Not necessarily, I got all the starter looms for free via trading, and plus most noobs beg in trading so it wouldn’t be that impossible for them to get
But I agree it’s hard to play loomian legacy without tutorials (however your points are limited to getting loomians, which is alright but there’s way more things you can talk about, like gym puzzle)
Hey, new player here. I wanted to watch this video as a guide to evolve stuff, but now I realise that god damn this game goes deep.
P:S corrupt duskit is way too op for that level in the game, omg
I remember when I stopped playing for a very long time and I came back and all my loomings were gone for some reason, at the old map I had all of them when they got the new map everything got restarted so this is like 3 time it happens, I was tired of getting all the loomings again that I caught before so I just quit.
what is this guy talking about
if you don't know then you are encouraged to find informations about it
it's called learning
Exactly
I evolved my whimpour by accident and I was like “nice so it evolves at 26”
You should change the title to tutorial how to get all the loomians
Thanks I only know like 40% on this list time to do all that stuff
Lucky are you still gonna do the soulink nuzlocke?
What i learned from this vid : OH GOD I MISSED SO MANY COOL EVENT LOOMIANS
:(
But really tho , yeah a new player who doesn't check the wiki or look at tutorials will not be able to get these .
Maybe the devs could make NPCs that give hints and as you sugested , update the damn loomipedia !
Imagine how painful it was for the first person to find how to find these
I found mutagon without any tutorials but tbf I did know they added a new loomian and u had to look in polut corp
Wait, why did you say Whimpor needs max friendship. It would happen randomly if they are persistent enough to battle with it
3:26 NO LUCKY NOOOO
They can add a new weather that you can get wintrix
I think that the loomian legacy should have a library or the loomian laboratory should have book about loomians and how to evolve them
I don’t think it’s a bad thing because if we didn’t get told how to do something specific we wouldn’t find evolutions for days like elephage
Well Pokémon has tons of similar situations, since this is a Pokémon formatted game it’s not too surprising to see these problems.
5:28 I had my mom complete the tetris minigame for me since she's good at it-better than me at least
Number 20 and 21 are the same as any Pokémon game with stones they don’t specify what Pokémon to use so that’s probably up for anyone to find out themselves
You can get mochi loomian in the place where the good exp trainer is
i am a normal player and i say yes yes it is, even when my low knowledge on pokemon as well it was easy to get into
