@@spiderfrog5764 probably the only time I’ll reply to something like this but the reason doodle world gets more updates on the creatures compared to loomian legacy is that doodle worlds creatures are drawings instead of models if you think about it.
Llama train studios spends more time arguing with the community and youtubers who popularize and support their game than actually working on the game and updating it.
I honestly think communication doesn’t matter if they keep taking years to update. Majority of the community is mad that the updates take so long and having communication is still good but I don’t think communication would do much if the updates are taking years, people always find ways to be negative so I feel that even if the communication was good people would just get angrier at the update time.

Hot take: LL should have a social media manager which contacts the devs regularly about the progress and what is going on in development. That way the manager can put out tweets regarding the games development progress and can give the community a way to understand where the development is at.
It's actually still kind of crazy how Lucky still makes videos on this game after the developers have been ghosting him and lying to him so much. I'm glad you made this video because the developers need to start taking communication seriously. They have the option between letting their game crumble to the ground or devote their absolute best to Atlanthian City Part 2. I know one can only take so much negative feedback and all but that's Twitter. This game has one last shot, or else this game is dead for good.
have you checked twitter recently? they have been communicating. they also have begun streaming on their UA-cam page. Sure its somewhat dry now but that's because there is no update yet. There's dry periods in every game and theyve responded to that recently by their leaks on twitter. also i believe they have a solid reason to ghost. the only criticism they have been receiving is "release the update faster" and "more communication" (of which they have been improving on in the past few months. So they HAVE been taking criticism by improving communication and asking for more is just inhumane. 2nd of all, the entire community begging for the update to release faster is not criticism as these devs have literal lives and developing is harder than it looks, something that very few people understand. Please stop attacking LL for this,

I hate seeing now how the developers have gotten to being supportive and having their hands open for ideas and new features in PBB but now with LL its like they are different people being Ignorant about their community and amazing ideas that they have that just goes out being forgotten and expect the youtubers to do the work for them (with work I mean entartain the community and keeping alive) instead of communicating. Whenever they get called out about their downsides they just ignore or block you (a example being LuckyHD) and make up excuses, it just shows how SOME of the big developers are KIND of hypocritical. Glad I never really stuck around for this game. I loved brick bronze, but I unfortunately left LL after like the second gym. I haven’t played Roblox in a long time either so I had no idea this was going on.
Sometimes, denial is just SO STRONG that you don't question yourself and always put the blame on others. But with the simple fact they consider their community as nearly nothing, not listening to them, not answering them, no communication, no good contact with them, I don't know what we can expect from them. "Thoughts of the players are important in some aspect." Seriously? "Some?" Just """Some?""" Nah dude. It's way more than just "some." Sure there's all that artistic direction, but if people don't like your content and you decide to tell them to heck off, then the only person you can blame about your content losing a lot of popularity is yourself. Either you stick to your own vision of things and work for yourself, which gives you no legitimate reason to complain about why you're getting disliked, OR you listen to what people have to say, even if it means partially and temporarily sacrificing what you had in mind in order to make your community happy and THEN you'd have a good reason to be mad if they are still unhappy. Have you thought about putting so much effort into making something but it all goes away because of a community, I am taking about PBB, and I think developer’s side is more affected than player side. I mean someone had to report the game to Nintendo to take down the PBB, so yeah developers lost their faith in community. Now they make their own game inspired by Pokémon and they don’t want anyone ruining it. I am sure most of you had that feeling where you put so much effort into something but in a second it all goes away….., So the devs became more skeptical of thier own community, but then again I could be wrong
Lucky.. just remember that they have lives that come before their game. If Brad has a few problems.. just be patient.. if he has a few problems estimating release dates.. or has issues in the way of giving an estimated release date.. just give him space.. he's probably depressed by the fact he is in this situation to begin with. They might have a few accidents here and there.. but they are trying to develop their own game with more mechanics and animations than their previous game that got taken down. Again.. I know everyone is upset at the lack communication and updates.. but Brad deserves a break.. everyone expects the new update to release on this day.. or this day.. think about the stress that a confirmed release date and all the peer pressure on their social media platforms put on brad. I don't agree with them lying on the release. Also the last update I remember they put out a lot of people started arguing it needed to be fixed. No one knows what they do, they keep getting into some stupid drama with the community. Also most devs don't even communicate with their communities that much, I understand like a few times but not everyone day things.
The thing with constructive to destructive is like bread. If you use it at first, it’s good! But waiting too long will make it worse and worse. Shifting things around to make them sound good.
They literally DONT want to be proven wrong. And when they are, they just... Do nothing, they're nervous. And they're scared. With the Loomian Legacy team saying all these things they're going to fix/do, and they just don't.. That becomes a problem, and that's why the community is the way it is today. If they spent more time listening to their community and taking feedback, then all would be well. But they decide not to, because they think their game is just perfect and doesn't need anything. No, I'm not showing hate towards Loomian Legacy, I think its a great game, but they aren't doing what everyone wants them to do.
There is no thing as destructive criticism, its like a glass half empty half full thing. Take what they said and look at why they said it, tackle the problem and fix it so everything becomes a whole lot better.
some points in this video were true, but some just feel like a stretch. i disagree with some things you have to say. this communication issue you mentioned, isn't the llama train studio tweeting every week or two? it's not like we haven't been receiving any information at all. sure, there's dry periods every here and there but these people are people too. they have their own lives and don't necessarily dedicate their entire lives to LL. I don't really see the issue with this and expecting them to do more than this would be absurd. other developers from other games rarely communicate to their players and the community doesn't really get pissed off for that. in fact extremely active developers are quite rare to find and isn't really that big of an issue to consider that the reason LL has fallen. this is an issue that the LL community made a massive deal about and really should get over it and realize, this is just how development works. the other issue you mentioned, with criticism, they respond to that when they most need it. if they haven't responded to it or haven't done anything about it is probably because they are aware of it, and had plans for it in the future, for example the drama when llamaba came out. immediately assuming that they ignore all feedback is just wrong. they don't have to immediately respond to it and you just have to trust the devs for once, they know what they are doing and asking for more, too much even, is not criticism. it looks like you guys are attempting to puppeteer these people just because things aren't going the way you want. if you let them be, and if you stopped constantly attacking them like this, they are probably more likely to respond. also, i feel like the player count (mentioned in the previous video) has nothing to do with this. I can agree that there may be issues with the game, but these are NOT the issues we should be addressing here. the game has reached some point of dry period but that's just part of development. you got to understand that they are trying their best here, and they most likely have plans to address issues in the community. these things don't come immediately and at this point this feels like harassment, trying to force information out of them. if you feel like you cant live without constant word and updates from the developers just move on. it wont feel like that big of an issue anymore
Hard agree I’ve been chill waiting and they’ve been leaking for 3 weeks straight now (so communication obviously isn’t the only issue rn) but it’s obviously not the case for most people and yh the loomala situation is a really good example To some extent I agree with lucky that the destructive criticism is a product of constructive criticsm going unnoticed but we have no idea if they’re taking it into account (which is a problem in of itself though) I just wish both sides would take a step back so 1. The devs would feel more comfortable being open about development and 2. Then the community gets satisfied Cause it feels like a constant loop of criticism, devs shy away (sometimes for good reason), people criticize more (with good reason) because of that, repeat At the end of the day the only thing to show for all their progress would be the actual update and the only thing that’d actually appeal to ppl so we can only wait for that

If LTS stayed consistent with communication and listened to what the community has to say, then they could improve in areas that would benefit the game.

I saw that the gorilla tag player are all melting up on November 23 to bring back their game(it was dying on the steam charts and UA-cam) So maybe we could do something similar. If all the big content creators telegram a massive Loomian Legacy protest on a certain date most people who still watch content about Loomian Legacy will join. I believe that if we show the devs how many people want the game to succeed but can’t deal with the constant issues they might do something about this. This would bring back most of the community and possibly influence the developers. I know for sure that there are at least ten thousand people who would join.
This hurts to hear as a fan of PBB and LL, that the devs suck at communication, and don’t want to improve because if their short sightedness. I have gone out of my way many of times to catch every Loomian i can, including the event ones, so its especially painful to hear these issues I’ve never known about, and all these amazing little Looms not getting the attention they deserve- or even worse, the game being cancelled because not enough people are playing- because the devs keep going with their current mindset, which is just signing their deal with Death (for Loomian Legacy).

Loomian legacy is literally a dying man who still thinks he's fun to be with. It's trying to remove all the "criticism" by segmenting them into different sections. They're basically saying that you cannot say anything bad about it which can't be improved even though Lucky just enquired about the problem between loomian legacy's suggestion and support system. I totally understand this major issue and I want loomian legacy to hear out to all the people who are under the "destructive" category. Don't worry Lucky! Its cause lando and Brad dont trusts others rather than the current LL cast because in their brick bronze era they let someone join the dev cast and then that person leaked the whole brick bronze script, that’s why their are so many brick bronze copies.

If LL is actually very slow into updates, this is what makes its rivals like Doodle World and ToT get bigger in popularity. I wish LTS dev team's fixed mindset could change so that they can interact more with the community and make more updates faster

Yall need to start realizing that they don't care and thats the bottom line. It's passive income for them, it's to squeeze as much money out as possible until the game fully dies with minimal effort going into updates to keep the game afloat for aslong as possible. I check up on this community maybe once every year since I spent over 100k+ robux on PBB and loved it but it took me just over a week of playing LL after its release to realize it was just a quick money grab capitalizing on PBB's success. Maybe there was some sort of passion at the start to perhaps make the game into something serious but if you think theres any passion left from these developers you're deluding yourself. Obviously this youtuber probably understands that this is the case now but I can tell he still likes the game and wants it to succeed but if we're being truthful this games been dead for years and will never revive itself.
I agree with Lucky, and I also feel he is the last person to describe as providing "destructive criticism", as he has made it abundantly clear as to what LTS needs to change and improve. I also feel that the responsibility aspect is true, as instead of being open and honest about how poor the communication has been, they decided to point fingers. From my perspective, it seems like a lot of the stuff LTS throws out there is in desperation to keep the fan base engaged, even if it means lying to them about the timeframe (which I feel is just wrong).

I like LL and I think it has potential to be one of the top 15 games on Roblox, but with lack of communication and updates, the game is just there. It’s a timeless loop since there is nothing too do. These random “events” they are putting into place is just to cover up and hinder their progress on the story. Stuff like the Sweat Retreat and Cosmiore event were just to cover up their development progress. ( Can you see they were present for almost a month?) This game has potential, and if they need help, they can hire other people. Lucky could probably help if they want him too. There is just nothing to do right now in the game, but I’m gonna still keep hope( if I have any) to support the game and the developers. The longer they wait, the more it will be to late to fix the scar they left on the community.

Tbh I think that we don't really need criticism at all anymore. Because if we try to use constructive criticism, the devs get mad and take it as destructive, even when it's not meant to be. At this point, now we just need to be as "kind" as possible while offering solutions. My only idea for this situation, I guess.
I honestly believe that communication becomes less significant when updates take years to arrive. The majority of the community is frustrated by the prolonged update cycles, and while maintaining good communication is important, I don't believe it would make a significant difference if updates continue to take such a long time. People tend to find reasons to be negative, so even with good communication, I believe they would become even more upset about the extended update timelines. TL;DR Communication ain't gonna fix anythin' even if the devs were more open, they're gonna be criticized due to it taking too long. But who knows huh? I'm just some people who happens to be a casual fan of LL and just thinks most internet dramas are so fucking stupid and people lacking common sense 80% of the time.

the fact that roblox pbb copies get more players on a average basis than loomian legacy has gotten for the past few months with pbb copies having no content updates and are way more hidden than loomian legacy shows how far loomian legacy has fell

I think they are working on a new thanksgiving update. If they are, we are going to wait until start of 2024 for pt.2 and SB. Thanksgiving and Christmas are close. That means that they will try their hardest and work almost all their days on these.

as much as i love loomian legacy, i started playing during quarantine and the game itself got released in 2019. that should give an idea on our perspective but i feel like the devs aren't making enough of an effort to actually save my favorite game, but if it is taking years for updates to come out then its unhealthy
I find it ironic how the devs are complaining about “destructive criticism”. This has been a problem since the START. They can’t hear us out we go louder and LOUDER. The devs see us making ourselves louder and really pushing out our true feeling as destructive when we’re trying to the exact opposite. I get that there’s some bad apples but most of the LL community pose constructive criticism unlike what the dev had said. They have been doing better posting leaks daily but now no one really cares. You let the forest burn multiple times and then when the fire goes out and they start cleaning it up half way every time, the animals aren’t going to comeback because the forest management has a bad reputation.

As good quality of a game LL is compared to, let's say Pet Simulator X, the BIG GAMES company actually has been somewhat decent on communication with their community. And not to even mention that there are PBB copies that are thriving right now, and theres no signs of intervention from LTS or Roblox. Wonder if LTS even cares about PBB copies anymore
If they can't follow through with these leaks they shouldn't even be focusing on giving us any teasers, it would be better if they were silet and just focused on working on updates, instead on giving us false hopes.

This is why I’ve just given up on loomian legacy. I only go in when there are new things but I never go in again it’s not as engaging as it was before. That’s been the reason I’ve switched from loomian legacy to doodle world they update way faster and is a way better game especially for f2p players, it just recently released their 4th “gym” and are working on part 2 rn.
If they don't start updating more frequently and actually care about their fanbase then sooner or later everyone will just move on to other current or upcoming creature catching games, like Tales of Tanorio. They need to realize this.
Here’s a little comparison: pbb was out for only 3 years and the main plot was finished with the e4 and postgame in development before it was nuked. LL has been out for 4 years now, and we’re not even halfway through the game. Sure it’s hard to come up with ideas for original loomians and model them, but it really shouldn’t take this long. This happening only with this game and not others (exhibit a: doodle world) shows that there is something wrong with you in particular, and turns out ignoring advice that basically everyone’s giving isn’t a good idea when making a game.
LL is a more complicated game in terms of code or overall build. I 100% agree with everything you said. But I doubt LL would of even been near completion at this point, even if they updated at the same pace as PBB. As someone who used to dream of being a successful UA-camr I understand that the only thing that can be considered destructive criticism would be straight up saying go KYS or something of that similarity without any actual criticism there's no such thing as destructive criticism theres just constructive criticism and criticism. I made it a important task to learn how to take constructive criticism and straight criticism and learn how to improve from it. Which is clearly something loomian legacy is too straight stubborn to do, something I never thought I would ever say is that llama train studios is doing worse then game freak right now, gamefreak is doing a really good job at keeping their players engaged with the games there releasing and they're doing this by leaking Pokemon leaking areas giving trailers and such, meanwhile, llama train studios sits on there butts developing their game giving their fanbase absolutely no reason to be excited for their game or updates and releasing a new leak every three months
This is true I will not lie I work as a bug/glitch finder when I play games I deliberately look for bugs and glitches that could harm the game for others but specifically when I reported some of these things to loomian legacy devs they never responded and after the 4th bug I reported they said that even if they could fix them it would take time I asked how much? And they said "we don't know" now the bugs I was reporting and as I'm not a famouse youtuber or a dev, my reports were when the game lags and your sprinting your loomian that's following you loses your path finding now im no roblox dev or anything but a pathfinding bug from what my father says should be a simple 6 minute fix. Now it has still not been fixed. Another was for the second gym when you fought Akio your game had a chance of freezing over and over and made you re do.the entire gym now this I would expect to be a long fix. What I'm trying to say here is that they really arnt listening to the small and non noticeable commoners which they also complain they sent get enough communication from and when the youtubers have to stand up and speak for the players the ll devs just brush them aside as well thinking that it's just the youtubers wanting to be more selfish for stuff. Also I just want to note They had enough time to design a completely new eaglet reskin for armenti Code them with the stats of falkery and make them all max level pvp and distribute 40 OF THEM to him Hold constant give aways during the rb event CODE IN A DREGGODYNE RAID and 3 new weathers yet they are doing all this while claiming to work to work on the update Probobly would have gotten done in the summer if they weren't doing all that. Sorry but not only do they not listen to anyone they also really need to rethink their priorities.

I honestly think both sides are at fault. As much as I agree with the fact that this is ridiculous I don't think the community should have gotten more destructive in their criticism, not saying everybody has but I've seen a few that are very hateful, but of course LTS needs to fix the communication issue especially with Atlanthian Part 2. I think a good example of how to properly do this is with Sony and BTSV. After ATSV came out there were a lot of quotes from people involved in the film that they hadn't even started the trilogy finale BTSV. That movie has been delayed quite a bit so the directors took the 2024 release date off and instead of putting one down they said that they will work hard to make the film but are not gonna putting a deadline they may not meet and has since not put a release date. It doesn't get people's hopes up of it coming soon and from messages I've seen talking about it everybody seems to understand and accept that nobody knows when it'll happen and the directors don't either so they're nipping the bud and doubling down but also not stressing themselves over meeting the deadline. LTS seems like they're not really taking that communication as key and is instead filling their heads with false hopes and promises for not just the community but themselves too and as you briefly mentioned here and went in depth on twitter for what they've shown Soul Burst wouldn't have taken 2 years to make

It seems that Lama Train Studio never learns. They really just never communicate with the community at all. but when they do, they're just wasting time arguing with them. they don't seem to care at all. It also feels like they're trying to trick us into thinking updates will come earlier. they just keep on putting up release dates but then the release gets cancelled, and they put a new one up and they cancel it again, yeah you get the idea. Will Loomian Legacy officially die and become a relic of the past? only time can tell.

To be honest, i feel as though they've just given up and don't care anymore however, I do personally believe that they still have a sense of commitment to keep pushing out updates. All in all i stopped playing this game a long time ago and its sad because the game can be really good but it feels like even if they do start communicating with the community, almost all of their player base has already moved on from it.

Not going to lie, LL is dying, like really fast. At this rate, I regret spending as much robux as I did on the game with how slow the updates are. They post fanart more than communicating with the fanbase. They also had the soul burst thing in PBB before it got shut down, it shouldn't have taken almost two+ years to get the soul burst system into LL. I'm glad you made this video because the developers need to start taking communication seriously. have you checked twitter recently? they have been communicating. they also have begun streaming on their UA-cam page. Sure its somewhat dry now but that's because there is no update yet. There's dry periods in every game and theyve responded to that recently by their leaks on twitter.

Glad I never really stuck around for this game. I loved brick bronze, but I unfortunately left LL after like the second gym. I haven’t played Roblox in a long time either so I had no idea this was going on.

Have you thought about putting so much effort into making something but it all goes away because of a community, I am taking about PBB, and I think developer’s side is more affected than player side. I mean someone had to report the game to Nintendo to take down the PBB, so yeah developers lost their faith in community. The thing with constructive to destructive is like bread. If you use it at first, it’s good! But waiting too long will make it worse and worse. Shifting things around to make them sound good.
They literally DONT want to be proven wrong. And when they are, they just... Do nothing, they're nervous. And they're scared. With the Loomian Legacy team saying all these things they're going to fix/do, and they just don't.. That becomes a problem, and that's why the community is the way it is today. If they spent more time listening to their community and taking feedback, then all would be well. But they decide not to, because they think their game is just perfect and doesn't need anything. No, I'm not showing hate towards Loomian Legacy, I think its a great game, but they aren't doing what everyone wants them to do.

There is no thing as destructive criticism, its like a glass half empty half full thing. Take what they said and look at why they said it, tackle the problem and fix it so everything becomes a whole lot better.

some points in this video were true, but some just feel like a stretch. i disagree with some things you have to say.
this communication issue you mentioned, isn't the llama train studio tweeting every week or two? it's not like we haven't been receiving any information at all. sure, there's dry periods every here and there but these people are people too. they have their own lives and don't necessarily dedicate their entire lives to LL. I don't really see the issue with this and expecting them to do more than this would be absurd. other developers from other games rarely communicate to their players and the community doesn't really get pissed off for that. in fact extremely active developers are quite rare to find and isn't really that big of an issue to consider that the reason LL has fallen. this is an issue that the LL community made a massive deal about and really should get over it and realize, this is just how development works.
the other issue you mentioned, with criticism, they respond to that when they most need it. if they haven't responded to it or haven't done anything about it is probably because they are aware of it, and had plans for it in the future, for example the drama when llamaba came out. immediately assuming that they ignore all feedback is just wrong. they don't have to immediately respond to it and you just have to trust the devs for once, they know what they are doing and asking for more, too much even, is not criticism. it looks like you guys are attempting to puppeteer these people just because things aren't going the way you want. if you let them be, and if you stopped constantly attacking them like this, they are probably more likely to respond.
also, i feel like the player count (mentioned in the previous video) has nothing to do with this. I can agree that there may be issues with the game, but these are NOT the issues we should be addressing here. the game has reached some point of dry period but that's just part of development. you got to understand that they are trying their best here, and they most likely have plans to address issues in the community. these things don't come immediately and at this point this feels like harassment, trying to force information out of them. if you feel like you cant live without constant word and updates from the developers just move on. it wont feel like that big of an issue anymore

so lucky is trying to help them, but how? lucky cannot contribute to the speed of game development at all, and none of us have any say in that since we aren't game developers and don't understand how hard it is. lucky is trying to help them communicate, which they have been constantly doing improving on. but he's still angry. people are saying "its too late" so what do they want now? it looks like to me that lucky is making baseless claims to hate on the LL devs for no reason. i just want to know what the motive is here.

I saw that the gorilla tag player are all melting up on November 23 to bring back their game(it was dying on the steam charts and UA-cam) So maybe we could do something similar. If all the big content creators telegram a massive Loomian Legacy protest on a certain date most people who still watch content about Loomian Legacy will join. I believe that if we show the devs how many people want the game to succeed but can’t deal with the constant issues they might do something about this. This would bring back most of the community and possibly influence the developers. I know for sure that there are at least ten thousand people who would join.

Loomian legacy is literally a dying man who still thinks he's fun to be with. It's trying to remove all the "criticism" by segmenting them into different sections. They're basically saying that you cannot say anything bad about it which can't be improved even though Lucky just enquired about the problem between loomian legacy's suggestion and support system.

Yall need to start realizing that they don't care and thats the bottom line. It's passive income for them, it's to squeeze as much money out as possible until the game fully dies with minimal effort going into updates to keep the game afloat for aslong as possible. I check up on this community maybe once every year since I spent over 100k+ robux on PBB and loved it but it took me just over a week of playing LL after its release to realize it was just a quick money grab capitalizing on PBB's success. Maybe there was some sort of passion at the start to perhaps make the game into something serious but if you think theres any passion left from these developers you're deluding yourself.
Obviously this youtuber probably understands that this is the case now but I can tell he still likes the game and wants it to succeed but if we're being truthful this games been dead for years and will never revive itself.
I agree with Lucky, and I also feel he is the last person to describe as providing "destructive criticism", as he has made it abundantly clear as to what LTS needs to change and improve. I also feel that the responsibility aspect is true, as instead of being open and honest about how poor the communication has been, they decided to point fingers. From my perspective, it seems like a lot of the stuff LTS throws out there is in desperation to keep the fan base engaged, even if it means lying to them about the timeframe (which I feel is just wrong).

I like LL and I think it has potential to be one of the top 15 games on Roblox, but with lack of communication and updates, the game is just there. It’s a timeless loop since there is nothing too do. These random “events” they are putting into place is just to cover up and hinder their progress on the story. Stuff like the Sweat Retreat and Cosmiore event were just to cover up their development progress. ( Can you see they were present for almost a month?) This game has potential, and if they need help, they can hire other people. Lucky could probably help if they want him too. There is just nothing to do right now in the game, but I’m gonna still keep hope( if I have any) to support the game and the developers. The longer they wait, the more it will be to late to fix the scar they left on the community.

Tbh I think that we don't really need criticism at all anymore. Because if we try to use constructive criticism, the devs get mad and take it as destructive, even when it's not meant to be. At this point, now we just need to be as "kind" as possible while offering solutions. My only idea for this situation, I guess.
I honestly believe that communication becomes less significant when updates take years to arrive. The majority of the community is frustrated by the prolonged update cycles, and while maintaining good communication is important, I don't believe it would make a significant difference if updates continue to take such a long time. People tend to find reasons to be negative, so even with good communication, I believe they would become even more upset about the extended update timelines.
TL;DR Communication ain't gonna fix anythin' even if the devs were more open, they're gonna be criticized due to it taking too long. But who knows huh? I'm just some people who happens to be a casual fan of LL and just thinks most internet dramas are so fucking stupid and people lacking common sense 80% of the time.

the fact that roblox pbb copies get more players on a average basis than loomian legacy has gotten for the past few months with pbb copies having no content updates and are way more hidden than loomian legacy shows how far loomian legacy has fell

I think they are working on a new thanksgiving update. If they are, we are going to wait until start of 2024 for pt.2 and SB. Thanksgiving and Christmas are close. That means that they will try their hardest and work almost all their days on these.

as much as i love loomian legacy, i started playing during quarantine and the game itself got released in 2019. that should give an idea on our perspective but i feel like the devs aren't making enough of an effort to actually save my favorite game, but if it is taking years for updates to come out then its unhealthy
I find it ironic how the devs are complaining about “destructive criticism”. This has been a problem since the START. They can’t hear us out we go louder and LOUDER. The devs see us making ourselves louder and really pushing out our true feeling as destructive when we’re trying to the exact opposite. I get that there’s some bad apples but most of the LL community pose constructive criticism unlike what the dev had said. They have been doing better posting leaks daily but now no one really cares. You let the forest burn multiple times and then when the fire goes out and they start cleaning it up half way every time, the animals aren’t going to comeback because the forest management has a bad reputation.

As good quality of a game LL is compared to, let's say Pet Simulator X, the BIG GAMES company actually has been somewhat decent on communication with their community. And not to even mention that there are PBB copies that are thriving right now, and theres no signs of intervention from LTS or Roblox. Wonder if LTS even cares about PBB copies anymore
If they can't follow through with these leaks they shouldn't even be focusing on giving us any teasers, it would be better if they were silet and just focused on working on updates, instead on giving us false hopes.

Tbh, they need to start listening more and letting people help them out more. They cant always keep being closeted about whats going on with the game and everything. Yes its understandable to have trust issues with people, but this is absurd to the point that people are getting mad. The lack of comm is one of the many reasons why I stopped playing LL, If they cant talk to their community, then whats the point in even trying to play the game ( along side with other issues ).

This is why I’ve just given up on loomian legacy. I only go in when there are new things but I never go in again it’s not as engaging as it was before. That’s been the reason I’ve switched from loomian legacy to doodle world they update way faster and is a way better game especially for f2p players, it just recently released their 4th “gym” and are working on part 2 rn.
If they don't start updating more frequently and actually care about their fanbase then sooner or later everyone will just move on to other current or upcoming creature catching games, like Tales of Tanorio. They need to realize this.
Here’s a little comparison: pbb was out for only 3 years and the main plot was finished with the e4 and postgame in development before it was nuked.
LL has been out for 4 years now, and we’re not even halfway through the game. Sure it’s hard to come up with ideas for original loomians and model them, but it really shouldn’t take this long. This happening only with this game and not others (exhibit a: doodle world) shows that there is something wrong with you in particular, and turns out ignoring advice that basically everyone’s giving isn’t a good idea when making a game.
LL is a more complicated game in terms of code or overall build. I 100% agree with everything you said. But I doubt LL would of even been near completion at this point, even if they updated at the same pace as PBB. If only these developers could be competent enough to communicate their progress at least once or twice per month.
Imma be real it’s kinda tough to compare to doodle world cause if they could use “concept art” as legit loomians without animations or anything it’d naturally be so much quicker to churn out content
For pbb I went back to watch a few vids and well like u said the sprites were already laid out but even the maps were really low detailed earlier on if u remember (some ppl look at it w/ rose-tinted glasses)
That being said there’s no way to justify a gym per year tho the builds have 100% been done for months now, it’s just the scripting
As someone who used to dream of being a successful UA-camr I understand that the only thing that can be considered destructive criticism would be straight up saying go KYS or something of that similarity without any actual criticism there's no such thing as destructive criticism theres just constructive criticism and criticism.
I made it a important task to learn how to take constructive criticism and straight criticism and learn how to improve from it. Which is clearly something loomian legacy is too straight stubborn to do, something I never thought I would ever say is that llama train studios is doing worse then game freak right now, gamefreak is doing a really good job at keeping their players engaged with the games there releasing and they're doing this by leaking Pokemon leaking areas giving trailers and such, meanwhile, llama train studios sits on there butts developing their game giving their fanbase absolutely no reason to be excited for their game or updates and releasing a new leak every three months

This is true I will not lie I work as a bug/glitch finder when I play games I deliberately look for bugs and glitches that could harm the game for others but specifically when I reported some of these things to loomian legacy devs they never responded and after the 4th bug I reported they said that even if they could fix them it would take time I asked how much? And they said "we don't know" now the bugs I was reporting and as I'm not a famouse youtuber or a dev, my reports were when the game lags and your sprinting your loomian that's following you loses your path finding now im no roblox dev or anything but a pathfinding bug from what my father says should be a simple 6 minute fix. Now it has still not been fixed. Another was for the second gym when you fought Akio your game had a chance of freezing over and over and made you re do.the entire gym now this I would expect to be a long fix.
What I'm trying to say here is that they really arnt listening to the small and non noticeable commoners which they also complain they sent get enough communication from and when the youtubers have to stand up and speak for the players the ll devs just brush them aside as well thinking that it's just the youtubers wanting to be more selfish for stuff.

I haven’t really played loomian legacy since after the first valentines event and I think the second Christmas event (the one with wabalistic) but I recently decided to rewatch some old loomian legacy UA-camrs, like lucky. Sooo what did I miss?
When they say something like that at the end they just can’t take criticism well and it shows all the stuff you said last video was valid constructive criticism and LL needs to man up and work harder
I honestly think both sides are at fault. As much as I agree with the fact that this is ridiculous I don't think the community should have gotten more destructive in their criticism, not saying everybody has but I've seen a few that are very hateful, but of course LTS needs to fix the communication issue especially with Atlanthian Part 2. I think a good example of how to properly do this is with Sony and BTSV. After ATSV came out there were a lot of quotes from people involved in the film that they hadn't even started the trilogy finale BTSV. That movie has been delayed quite a bit so the directors took the 2024 release date off and instead of putting one down they said that they will work hard to make the film but are not gonna putting a deadline they may not meet and has since not put a release date. It doesn't get people's hopes up of it coming soon and from messages I've seen talking about it everybody seems to understand and accept that nobody knows when it'll happen and the directors don't either so they're nipping the bud and doubling down but also not stressing themselves over meeting the deadline. LTS seems like they're not really taking that communication as key and is instead filling their heads with false hopes and promises for not just the community but themselves too and as you briefly mentioned here and went in depth on twitter for what they've shown Soul Burst wouldn't have taken 2 years to make

It seems that Lama Train Studio never learns. They really just never communicate with the community at all. but when they do, they're just wasting time arguing with them. they don't seem to care at all. It also feels like they're trying to trick us into thinking updates will come earlier. they just keep on putting up release dates but then the release gets cancelled, and they put a new one up and they cancel it again, yeah you get the idea. Will Loomian Legacy officially die and become a relic of the past? only time can tell.

To be honest, i feel as though they've just given up and don't care anymore however, I do personally believe that they still have a sense of commitment to keep pushing out updates. All in all i stopped playing this game a long time ago and its sad because the game can be really good but it feels like even if they do start communicating with the community, almost all of their player base has already moved on from it.

Not going to lie, LL is dying, like really fast. At this rate, I regret spending as much robux as I did on the game with how slow the updates are. They post fanart more than communicating with the fanbase. They also had the soul burst thing in PBB before it got shut down, it shouldn't have taken almost two+ years to get the soul burst system into LL.
I miss pokemon brick bronze days honestly, the devs were more caring then. Loomian Legacy is getting so boring now, I don't even play the events when they come out.
