Some of you might laugh at me right now, but you know who this guy actually makes me think of? This guy makes me think of a left-handed Luka Doncic, with the way he shoots his 3s, passes the ball, and also the way he does little turnaround Fade Away jumps...very much like Luka does, except left-handed instead of right.

I remember him from Scrimmage. he is a glue guy, good IQ player. People might think he's Hauser's replacement, but he seem more than that. More like White's replacement if he ever leaves. nowhere near defensively, but offensively he might catch up. And his activity on the boards is very similar to Jrue. Looking like a solid pickup

I upgraded my pick from c to b. Guy has heart.
Solid B ,but I would have taken Filipowski from Duke, only because of we are thin at the position now with KP out the beginning of the season, and Al turning 39, Queta needs more playing time, but I like the assessment that Baylor is a lefty Luka,if he is half of that assessment that's a steal

Not sure how she does this video stressing SF/PF wing depth and the loss on Oshay and barely mention Walsh. THATS who replaces Oshay. The kid played well in Maine and will get better. He is the developmental wing defender and Baylor is the wind shooter (haiser replacement). Just need that development big

Pretty good pick from Brad. He was in my top 5 (along with filipowski, dunn, dasilva, smith). From what i've seen:
Pros:
Good rebounder for his size
nba range
Can put the ball on the floor and playmake
Smart
Lots of off-ball movement
willing to set screens
Cons:
bad defender (but is smart so can be trained)
slower release compared to Sam
cant beat most defender off the dribble
cant jump/isnt athletic
Comps: taller PP
the last thing we need is awful defense
@@mikaylarivera1337 he'll get on that sam hauser program. He has the size and BBIQ to be decent. And thats fine if he shoots 40% from 3. My hot take right now is he jump springer and walsh in the rotation. Its much easier for the Cs staff to fix defense than to fix a broken jumper.
@@TheRobversion1 sam hauser wasnt even great as a defender. theres no way you can defend luka and kyrie but get cooked by mcconnel and nembhard thats not a 2 way player. is it wrong for me to say i want a damn big man? im sorry we can’t be satisfied with kps injuries any longer

And yes i wanted a big man too. Brad however only worked out wings and guards. Suffice to say as much as i want filipowski and smith, hes probably going for another wing in round 2.
I'd want for the Cs to trade up like call milwaukee and trade #54 and 2030 2nd RD pick for their #33 pick. And draft filipowski or smith. But yeah i think brad wants a vet big man since we already have queta as the young big.
@@TheRobversion1 dude same wasnt great defensively. just bc he guarded luka well doesnt mean he gets awat with his awful defense against indi. he needs to be more consistent. please educate me bc i really wanna know why brad is obsessed with wing players. like idk why he’s satisfied with kp in street clothes all the time. why dies he think an old al horford and an injury prone kp is gonna be sustainable. teams are loading up on us competition aint getting easier

Ty just hyping up a scrub wtf dude we had legit needs you do realize this is a huge reach for a 2nd rounder imo he was 36 ranked but other major outlet had him as low as 39 imo I wouldn’t have been shocked if he was there at 54.

And huaser was twice as good at defense and way more athletic he went undrafted. Which I know this is a weak draft but come on this is a bad pick especially when the duke center is basically gift wrapped to the Celtics. Brad rarely makes mistakes but this is definitely going to come back to haunt them he was not ranked to be in the first round. He is cocky old and can’t play defense so no matter how good the coaching staff is it won’t translate. Brad said on the pat Mac show he wanted youth and that rotation won’t be cracked so idk wtf happened between 24 hours to pick a scrub fringe 2nd rounder over youth big man. This only makes sense if someone is getting traded other wise Walsh must be trash ( was this another mistake by Brad Walsh? Don’t like it didn’t need a small unathletic guard. Maz will not play a guy that can’t defend to give this a guaranteed contract is way inept. If we don’t draft a big at 54 then we just punted this draft. Good thing we just won ring but bad thing we didn’t prioritize the future.
Payton Pritchard was a bad pick, they could've had Desmond bane, who the actually traded the pick after Pritchard and could've got Pritchard at 45.
