A 22 LR at 300 yards would be a challenge from a bench. Doing so off hand is spectacular. You are amazing Kirsten!

Every shot was remarkable and with a 10x scope on an semi-auto. A .22 lr drops roughly 134" or 11' at 300 yards. I have a 50x scope on a custom bolt action Anschutz I couldn't do it from a bench. This takes exceptional ammo to be this consistent. You really have no idea what you're seeing until you try it. Kirsten you are as deadly as you are pretty.

From when she begins to attempt the shot to when she explains why she shows her misses, her attitude about what shooting is and the challenge of life is what really makes Kirsten special. I remember at one point I signed up to shoot 200 yards with a .22. The organizers' explanation was that it was equivalent to shooting 600 yards with a 308. So your characterization of a .22 @ 300 yards equating to .308 @ 1000yds is probably about right. His scale of comparison had to do with the time of flight for the bullet. The longer the time of flight the longer the wind affects the path of the bullet.

I've hit many quarters at 300 with a .22 Remington bolt action 222 with a 4 power Weaver scope.
My father built that rifle and a model 722 .308 which i used for bench rest silhouette shooting up to 1250 yards.
But my hats are off to you for trying the offhand stance.....

I agree very much on the fact that shooting is a mental battle at times, but it takes pervereance and always challenging your self and your skill set. In doing so it teaches you more about coping skills for these challenges.

Shooting an egg at 300 yards with a 22 LR. Off Hand,,, I don't care if it was match grade 22 or not whether it was a match grade rifle or not... This Lady can shoot. I grew up shooting Groundhogs with a 22. And a man who was a Virginia mountain man was the best of all around. He wouldn't have believed that shot if he hadn't seen it in person. A 22 is a light bullet and just the slightest wind and temps can cause it to move around. And she was "lobbing the bullets in." Then add on "How the hell can she hand hold a rifle that steady" ? That grouping was incredible. . HATS OFF TO THAT LADY...

I know your JOY! I remember 100 years ago, I made an offhand 260 yd. shot on a windy day into one of those 2"x2" self sticking Styrofoam EXPLODING targets. It took 4 shots to blow it up; all 4 shots hit the foam, but it only explodes when you hit the orange quarter-sized dot in the middle.
Lady, you're fantastic with 22LR! I'd be willing to bet you would beat my best shots (probably with ease!), in any contest!
---> I used 5.56 x 45mm, no real bragging rights, but for a beginner's first semi-long range shot, I was very happy and cheering, dancing and I felt exhilarated!
