No that’s not true! Marcus Mariota was NOT the last PAC 12 player to win the heisman! Caleb Williams played for USC in the PAC 12! And Caleb Williams was actually the last PAC 12 player to win a heisman!

The B12 did have a championship game but after Nebraska and Colorado left they cut out the championship game then later on added it again
Yeah Big12 has been through a lot of iterations.😂
NCAA used to require 12 teams stage a championship game. After this year the NCAA changed the rule

Here's a tribute to how messed up the B1G and the Pac12 were during the 4-team playoff era. The first CFP National Championship Game of the 4 team era was a B1G team beating a Pac12 team and the last CFP National Championship Game of the 4 team era was a B1G team beating a Pac12 team. Yet, all those years in between, the B1G won just one CFP Semifinal (Ohio State in 2020 vs Clemson) and the Pac12 had just one appearance scoring just 7 total points (Washington in 2016 vs Alabama). While sometimes it's not always about how you start but how you finish, there are instances where the first and last breathe don't matter because it's the breathes that are in between.
Alabama was the 1 seed.

@@garythegroundhog5967 Ohio State had the worst loss out of the 3(VA Tech), and Baylor had the best win (TCU). So the only reason Ohio State got in is because of their brand.

@@membroedits My original comment was very vague tbh. But what I did like about the BCS was how it kept the history of those big bowl games alive and it seems like the bigger the playoff gets the less importance will be placed on regular season matchups. The BCS definitely had its fair share of hiccups but it had some aspects I liked.
Got you. Yeah I agree, the bowl games are so insignificant now. I actually made a video on how bowl games have gone downhill. Part of it is definitely part of the Playoff.

nah this playoffs are better so you wouldn’t have a situation as florida state being snubbed,UCF being snubbed and penn state,and TCU and Baylor not making it as you would have in the 4 team playoffs
