OMG that is insane 😪 I’ve never heard of that wide of a tornado --😢😢😢😢😢😢😢I hope the government will step in and help all❤
FEMA and the State and County Emergency people are aiding us...of course our insurance too. We can't thank our electric company enough for getting us up and running in just 2 days when mainlines were down on the ground and poles had snapped in two. Other crews from Oklahoma and Louisiana came in to help...They were great! Get that generator folks, it sure comes in handy!
Seriously considering rebuilding below ground.
My brother has an entirely cement block in his walkout basement safe and secure and impenetrable. We never heard a thing for the 30 minutes were down there. I highly recommend it!

We are on top of a ridge in Rea Valley just outside Flippin and 8 miles from Yellville. We had hundreds of trees 2 and 3 ft in diameter snapped in two like matches. We were lucky, little house damage but electric lines down for 2 days etc. It will take months to chainsaw the dead trees. We were in my brother's storm shelter and didn't hear a thing while outside all havoc was breaking loose! God speed to all and God bless those who lost someone. Thank God only 2 people were killed in Marion Cty.

@Forestventures the moon and Mars are tangible and their existence unquestionable, unlike your Bronze Age mythology and the existence of good will on your part.
Call their Governor in and she needs to bring resources with her to help these people.
Our Governor is Sarah Huckabee Sanders, she was on it before it happened. She is terrific.

Your talking about the whole Central to Eastern US! Several States are hit with tornados!
Why live in a place and gamble with your life?
It's not really prone, but it happens, here in Marion Cty we have only seen 2 tornados in the past 15 years, but we have a lot of watches/warnings. This is the first one that has come even close to our mountain...and if you visited, you'd understand why people love it here!
You guys will have to build underground…..very sad to see. Best Wishes.
