The last time Brett favre was Brett favre. I’ve never cried for a football player especially on a team I don’t even root for but he had just done a Brett favre td fireman carry vs the bears and then gets dropped on his head in Minnesota’s frozen tundra. I still can’t believe that was his last snap. That’s what it took to finally get Brett off the field.
Well our receivers have been up and down since the Carter/Moss years. We've had some excellent receivers but not many that have been good (and remained on our team) year in and year out. Obviously Harvin was an explosive player. And Visanthe Shiancoe had some good years. I don't know that I'd single out this year as being worse than any other but we've had some sketchy years in general around this time. We miss Cordarrell Patterson!!
If you didn't start watching until 2013, why would you think your opinion would be even remotely correct? The entire offense, not just the O-Line was depleted that year.
Long time Vikings fan, and Randy Moss fan my dad bought us tickets to go see this game, row 3. Moss was waived just before this game so I missed out on seeing him play but I was rewarded with a once in a lifetime experience with this game, the overtime, the fans, the stadium, and my dad. Crowd so loud I could yell as loud as I could and he couldn't hear me 3 feet away... The crowd singing Don't Stop Believing even after the music shut off. Wow.
Favre is my all time favorite quarterback. He was looking like a God that 09 season. Really wanted them to make it to the super bowl but the saints had other plans.

Before I really got into the Vikings, I remember giving up and going to Micky D's with my bro and our neighbor buddies. We came back just in time to catch the very end of the game. I remember being so excited and taking pictures/videos on a flip phone, Lol. Good times...
Joe Dorben My guess is that you're from the Seattle area. Greetings from Scooby from near Chicago and a Bears fan but I do have a great admiration for the Seahawks! 😃
It took about seven years since they missed in 2003, but the Vikings sure got their revenge on the Cardinals with a comeback victory of their own courtesy of Favre. Minnesota didn't have a winning season in 2010, but the comeback vs. Arizona certainly was sweet music from the Vikings' standpoint.
My teachers is a Packers fan, and she said the most Packers-fan thing she could say. She said that if the vikings couldn't win a superbowl with Brett Farvre, they never will LOL
I'm a Pats fan and I can say this in recent memory, Cleveland gas always given the Pats trouble. 34-14 L for my Pats. Last time the Pats were down 2 tds in the 4th and had to come back in win. That was the year Josh Gordon was a beast! Hope we can get something out of him
Favre spent his entire career running for his life. Imagine what he could've done with a better offensive line. I think with another year with the Vikings and they could've won the Super Bowl.
Yes because that Viking team was tough and could have won the Superbowl the following year and the NFC standings for Super titles would be Packers:4 Bears: 1 Vikings: 1 Lions: 0
#85 Camarillo, Vikes only had him a couple years, but a guy you always wanted to have a great play. The play slowed up when the runner changed direction, otherwise Camarillo probably wouldn't have caught up
@Holy shit, it's a talking muffin Which wouldn't have happened if not for all the cheap shots (Bounty-gate) Favre took that game. He clearly had room to run and get out of bounds with a first down but was playing on a bad leg because of the numerous late hits. Which is why I think it's a complete joke that the Saints are crying like little bitches now about last year's NFC title game. It's called karma A-holes!
Derek Anderson got sacked 6 times, but he really only got tackled once and that was when Jared Allen came around and got him from behind as he was taking off running. all the other times, he was just going down as he was about to get sacked. kind of a wimp move.
Ooh this season was such a Twilight Zone year for me. Now I am a LIFE-LONG Packers fan, however as a kid I grew up watching Fran Tarkenton throw to Sammy White. Chuck Foreman was a brutal RB. Tell me why on the last play in regulation Anderson goes down with 5 seconds left on SECOND DOWN and 2 TIMEOUTS and let the clock run just to go to OT and lose? Atleast take a last shot with that 3rd down 😂
Who was #85 for the Vikings that stripped the ball away from Rhodes right before he crossed the goal line??? I can't make out what it says on his jersey... his name obviously ... I'm a Cardinals fan and even though the team was terrible this year since we lost Warner in the off-season; we STILL should've won this game... Man... with all the same players from the year before, WTF happen this year? Anybody have knowledge of what went down?? Did the Saints beat them up into a pile of poop they couldn't play next year?
Brett Favre's last bit of magic.
I can't even see the ball when Favre slings it man wat a arm
Favre threw lots of interceptions but he sure had a big set of balls. That's something that has been sorely missed around here lately!
Agreed. Kirk’s testosterone levels wouldn’t even chart compared to Farve’s.
One of very few bright spots of that year
In a perfect world they win the sb last year and Favre retires at the top

It's a shame how bad that o-line and WR group was that year. Favre never had a chance. Losing his deep threat in Rice was a big time loss.
Sorry, but I thought the o-line was pretty decent with 4/5 being decent starters. I didn't start watching until 2013 so correct me if I'm wrong.
Sydney rice was a 1 yr wonder. They tried to give him targets. They should have given him a better oline

Some great throws from Brett but looks like Adrian’s comeback too 😂 GO PACK GO!! Love you Brett!

Percy harvin was an unappreciated talent
Classic Favre. Top of the world to the deepest abyss.
The greatest Viking known to mankind Brett Favre

Darnell Dockett was an underrated solid player on a bad team. I'd loved to have had him in Pittsburgh as a DE in our 3-4 back then

Favre so good it ruined the audio on this video
Was at that game, most people left and had to watch the rest at the bars next door. : P
Damn these jerseys are way better than the current ones
I love it when the Vikings win always
To think they almost had a pick-six a kick return for a touchdown and a fumble recovery for a touchdown and still lost is mind-boggling
I forgot Derek Anderson played for the Cardinals.
I forgot Derek Anderson Played at all.
You haven't seen his rant?!
He seemed like such a wimp out there. going down before he gets sacked.
Highlight reels of Adrian Peterson tend not to have many of his receptions with long runs after the catch.
It’s crazy how they had a major drop off in 2010 after having practically the same team from ‘09.
Cleveland thumping New England 34-14?!?
